  1. When is this being launched? Just keep seeing 'Holiday 2021'... what does that even mean? Which holiday?
  2. Implied target (casting on the target of your focus) would be number one for me. I actually was thrilled when I saw the target of target window because I thought implied targetting would be part of that but, no such luck. Mouseover healing is a close second in terms of priorities for me. Thanks for listening and soliciting opinions on this!
  3. Raeln, while I'm sympathetic to your argument about the definition of a Legacy item, I still disagree that either the amassing of credits or task repetition (be it dailies, pvp, or whatever) equals putting in the effort to acquire them. Your daily grinds are no more 'effort' (if not less by the very nature of the repetition) than my preferred playstyle of having numerous alts because I enjoy exploring the storylines. Storylines that, I might add, are what BW claims has always been the focus of the game. That is why I was originally excited by the Legacy system as I perceived it. It's a system that allows for all sorts of different playstyles and rewards each. Using just Legacy level it was already weighted towards players with few alts that liked to do dailies, etc. because, as you pointed out in an earlier post, you gain more experience for high level missions than low level ones and thus earn Legacy levels faster. Still, I was fine with that because I could get there by working on alts the way I liked to do, just as you could get there by doing the things you like to do. The system as it is now though is exclusive to a particular playstyle and that, I maintain, is extremely disappointing.
  4. Yea, your playstyle is basically what the Legacy system was designed for it seems. Someone who is either willing (or interested) in making lots and lots of credits by doing the same daily missions again and again. For those of us NOT interested in that kind of play, we're pretty much left out of the Legacy rewards and that is the issue. I'm glad that there are multiple ways of earning Legacy levels, ways that fit all playstyles. I got to nearly 20 just by working on various alts, the way I like to play. You got there by concentrating on one or two characters, the way YOU like to play. So far so good if the rewards were based only on Legacy level. Unfortunately the huge Credit costs ensure that only your playstyle and not mine is going to grant the rewards. That is the aspect I have an issue with.
  5. Legacy was a HUGE disappointment for me. I wasn't expecting much I don't think, maybe a couple nice abilities, a couple of conveniences and some spiffy fluff. But earned by working alts, advancing my Legacy, NOT by doing the same dumb daily missions over and over and over again just to grind out ridiculous amounts of credits. The simple fact is I'll never have enough credits to buy 90% of the stuff there. Not because I don't play 'enough', but because I don't play the way I'm evidently supposed to. What a let down.
  6. Would like information on any plans to add ship decorations / trophies. One of the things I always loved about MMO's was the ability to decorate your house or guild hall. While I myself was never all that great at it (but loved trying!), I was constantly amazed by the creativity of the community at large.
  7. The only one I've actually finished thus far is Elara with my Trooper. I loved her character development, slowly opening up from her original rigid, by the book, personality to eventually showing a real sense of humor and fun. My only regret with her was that it seemed to be bugged somehow and I ended up getting almost the entire romance arc (7 or 8 conversations) in one go. Would have enjoyed them a lot more if they were more spread out. My next highest characters are my male Smuggler (while he's certainly getting a lot of action, nothing much on the romance side thus far at level 30) and my Sith Inquisitor (who at level 33 does not yet have a female companion either). So, guess I'll have to wait before I can compare them with the Elara arc.
  8. My primary question would be around decoration for "Guild Halls" (ships, moons, whatever form they might take.) and also personal ships. Specifically about how customizeable will they be? One of the greatest things about some MMO's (EQ2 was perhaps the best for this) was the amazing amount of creativity and customization that was possible in decorating houses and Guild Halls. So far we've had none of that in SW:TOR (ships are standard across the board, etc.) so would love to hear whether or not BW is at least looking in that direction. Thanks!
  9. Add one for Sgt. Jaxo for the Troopers. When I first came across her I was just sure she was going to join Havoc eventually.
  10. That would work, but the bigger issue is probably how do you go back and romance previously unavailable companions? Say your level 50 and 10k affection with the companion you want to romance when the SGR option comes in; you've already missed out on all the dialogue. There has to be some way to 'reset' the dialogue to allow for Flirting or else add a whole new series of dialogue options for all the newly Flirtable companions.
  11. Funny... I had the same exact thought on my Trooper. I just finished Voss last night and was about to leave thinking I'd done a fine job bringing peace to the planet (I agree about the astoundingly non covert, covert op but let it slide) when I hit the bonus series on the way out. "Huh? Wait... you want me to what? But... listen Jedi man, I just finished making peace here, wouldn't this, ya know... restart the civil war?!? Really? Well heck, I guess that's why I'm just a grunt, I obviously don't understand these things..." lol
  12. I agree with this disagreement! ;-) Either both SGR and OGR should be always on or they should both be entirely optional. I rather like the OP's idea of choosing your characters orientation at the beginning as well.
  13. I'm wondering whether Legacy system points will be lost if a character is deleted? i.e. If I level an alt to 20 and decide I don't like him, will the legacy ponts he's earned be removed? What if those points make the difference in a Legacy level? etc.
