  1. I want to see the OP reroll and then pvp as a lvl 50 sent. I want him to say he feels OverPowered. Go on, do it, big mouth...
  2. so basically you realised what everone is being saying all along ... get better gear and interrupt.
  3. it is not needed actually, it's bugged for everyone and pl still kill the Emperor easy
  4. Watchman here as well, At 35 I got Doc and used him almost exclusively. I always used my commendations to upgrade my weapons first and whatever was left went into armour. To be honest the quest rewards and drops were enough for me. Until I got Doc i used T7 and sent him in first. If you quest in the outside world you can simply use mount - dismount and mount again and he's back at 100% hp. I didn't even use Biochem, I had Synth all the way up and sometimes crafted some armors but the skill was quickly left behind. The sentinel is all about how you play, if you take damage, pop a defensive skill, always try to use your aoe's in a smart way. For example you jump into a group of mobs, you pop the aoe which stuns them for a bit, then concentrate on the weakest enemies first, take them out then move up the difficulty ladder. If you fight droids don't forget you can cc them for a whole minute while you kill their friends. Every single skill you have can be used and should be used. Don't pop your defensive skills when you're not taking enough damage, keep them for when it gets ugly. Watchman has some solo heals so they can keep you up as well. The skills which do some form of cc are your friend. Use them all the time as they'll give you a bit of breathing space. Keep your skills up to date, your aim is high damage first, take them out before they can take you out. When you fight elites always aim to keep your dots up and running and don't be shy to use your 20 min cd skill if it looks like you're gonna die.
  5. Personally I had no issues on any planet and Hoth was no exception. I can't tell why you have issues, I am a sentinel as well and haven't seen them. I used Doc all the time though, disabld his attack skills apart frpm the one which stuns one opponent, made sure he's in reasonably good gear, as was I. I do not have a set rotation, tend to react to what happens during a fight. Worked out great for me.
  6. Just look at skills on the top rows in each tree to see what you're missing. You really need to get choose a tree, get the top skill and put whatever is left in the others.
  7. So effectively everyone should play the same spec in your eyes ? We have 3 trees for a reason, people should just choose whatever they want and have fun with. It sure helps more than everyone being a copy cat and afraid to experiment.
  8. Well done on killing him. I still don't understand how can someone reach that level and still not know about interrupts but hey, that's just me
  9. To be honest if you're not going to back up your claim in any way your reply just makes you a troll. If I were you I'd just shut the hell up basically.
  10. I actually got 2 hits like that. Once hen i chose to save my other companion instead of going straight for the emperor and then another -736 hit on the ship, after the Emperor was dead, can't remember what i said to make him mad though. I was like ... whatever.
  11. Nope, next on my list was the defensive forms. The skill which increases the offhand damage does not impress me much, I will probably get rid of it and try osmething else.
  12. I did the same as you. Got that skill as early as i possibly could and never regretted it. It's awesome .
  13. all of them. each at the opportune moment.
  14. You know, you'd think that by the time people reach this part of the story they'd know how to play their class. It seems that quite a lot can't though. To say that such an easy fight is impossible to do solo is just mind boggling lol.
  15. Yeah, its broken and unplayable and amazingly weak. You can always play another class.
  16. Asking for a fight to be made easy just because a few incapables can't do it is detrimental to the game. The fight is your final class battle, it is supposed to be a bit difficult and is perfectly doable solo. I find it funny that you advice others to start thinking. If you did that yourself you would do this fight with no issues ... now there's some helpful advice, isn't it ?
  17. Install some voice chat like TS and play a marauder. Your guild mates can let you know that way, when they want to run something. Leveling a second sentinel sounds boring , you've already seen the story once.
  18. Overreact much ? Casual gamer means someone who plays casual every now and then, like most of us. Casual does not mean idiot. All you have to do is play the game, when you have time. You then learn your abilities and what they do. if you cannot handle the number of buttons then play another class. It doesn't take a genious to figure out the only things you need to do is interrupt and make sure you are geared. They both happen if you play the game casually. There you go, all done and achieved by you , in game. Personally i cannot figure out how can someone reach that level and still not have a clue ho to play their own class and not figure out what an interupt is for. Stop using the casual excuse, it's really old.
  19. I play the same as you, using my mouse and I have no issues. i know where I put my skills and what they do so don't get them confused. Play as you feel comfortable and if you don't like what you have now, experiment and find a setup which works for you.
  20. So last night I finally got to the Emperor fight with my 50 sentinel, solo. My stats 13k hp, 1100 str, T7 had whatever quest gear I gave him. I didn't bother to buy stuff for him. The chest was bugged so no equipment for T7 there. Took me maybe 10 minutes to get to him, mostly ignoring all enemies on my way to him and only killed what I had to kill in order to get to him. I targetted him in the beginning and stayed on him the whole time. Those clones tickled me nicely so all I did was aoe them every now and then. T7 died and I forgot to use my 20 minutes CD so that was a no no . I didn't even notice his health but maybe 2 minutes into the fight he just went down. I was actually dissapointed at how easy it was. I just can't see what the fuss is about, he's so easy that is actually ridiculous. I was hoping it would be much harder but no, first attempt maybe 12 minutes in total since I arrived on his planet and got my Master Title. I even tried to convert him to the Jedi cause but that didn't go well. My choices in this final quest made my Lord Scrouge companion to take 1400 affection hit ... damn you Scrouge.
  21. I have to say, this is an epic thread. It's not every day you meet the best tank in the world in all MMO's and the best dps in the world. I also love it to see the awesome wow players who cannot play without messages ( imagine darth vader using low tonne voice : dude, you are about to get aggro. may the force slow you down ). In 4 seconds a dude can pull aggro from any tank, gotta love that. Lol. Epic thread. Keep going I'll bookmark it. P.S. for the record I think wow is a great game. it does all games out there a great service. I'll let someone else figure out what that service is .
  22. See, I don't understand you. Every time I level up, I go to my trainer and see what he has to offer. Then I read the new skills and understand what they do. I mean do you really need a notice which says "hey don't put your hand in fire cause you'll get burnt ?". Hey look this skill interupts ... hey look mob is casting something ... logical conclusion ... if i interupt he's not going to cast it .... hence I don't get damaged . I am not trying to troll but seriously, how hard is it to read the skills and apply them ? If you look at most strategies here , they all say the same thing, send companion in first - unless he is not a healer - and most importantly use interupts.
  23. Doesn't seem very Jedi style to let that girl kiss you ...
