  1. And see, from everything I've heard, and in my own experience, only Moderate and Abundant missions are profitable. Rich and Bountiful have higher potential yields, but also have a greater chance at a loss.
  2. And that's exactly it. RNGs in these kinds of games are notoriously streaky, so it's not unusual to try and reach out and determine if something has in fact changed, or if the RNG just hates us today.
  3. It's not "whine whine whine" to point out a PERCEIVED downward trend. I say to you. . . prove to ME that my rewards DIDN'T take a sudden nosedive a few days ago. They seem to have balanced out, I will admit, but several missions yielded rewards that were substantially subpar. Pointing that out, and trying to discover if other people were experiencing similar issues, is FAR from "whining."
  4. The most recent spreadsheet I could find hasn't been updated since 1.2.
  5. Indeed it does not, but it seems a disturbing trend from last night and this morning.
  6. My returns seem to have taken a nosedive, at least on the lower-tier missions (run for missions for my alts.) As bad as Lord Scourge returning 86 credits on a 95 credit-cost mission.
  7. What are the names of my character's lightsaber? Selon's lightsaber is Selon. Amavia's lighstabers are Amavia. The lightsaber is not just a tool, not just a weapon. It is part of the Jedi, an extension of their body, a conduit to connecting the Force. It is not a thing to be named. . . it is me, as I am it.
  8. Hmm. Sounds like an interesting social experiment. Too bad nothing came of it.
  9. I can confirm the lagged spawn, sometimes up to 10 seconds into the mission (which doesn't sound like a lot, bu when you're, say, past the first frigate in a space station mission, is makes it impossible to collect the turrets bonus, or practically impossible to blow up enough fighters on Drexel Sweep.) I've also experienced the movement issue, most commonly on Drexel Sweep and Balosar Outpost. Funnily enough, failing the mission and retrying clears both bugs. Still, something needs to be done.
  10. You can actually click off the vaccine buff.
  11. Nope, it's worked on same-faction players in the fleet. Has anyone been able to get this more than once?
  12. Response to my ticket on this issue, sounds promising: Greetings [REDACTED] I am Protocol Droid [REDACTED], Human-Cyborg Relations. I have received your transmission regarding an error that you have encountered where in the Credit Rewards for the Crew Skill, Slicing, yields credits that are lower than the amount needed to start the Gathering Mission. Rich and Bountiful missions are also yielding very low amount of credits as rewards. Thank you for bringing this matter into our concern and we understand that this issue can cause a great deal of frustration and/or confusion. Rest assured that your report has been forwarded to our development team, who will investigate further. Please be aware that when a ticket is escalated for such an investigation, it will no longer be visible to you through the in-game helpcenter. We regret that we will be unable to provide you with further updates on this issue, but recommend checking the latest patch notes at http://www.swtor.com/patchnotes for information on any fixes or changes related to this issue. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and to thank you again for the valuable feedback you have provided. Please do not hesitate to report any other issues you may encounter while playing. Galactic Support is our specialty... Sincerely, Protocol Droid [REDACTED] Star Wars: The Old Republic - Customer Service
  13. Step 1: Make Items. Step 2: ? Step 3: PROFIT. Sorry, had to be done. And sadly, it seems to be quite true. . . not sure what needs to be done to get the game's economy moving, but I've had little luck selling orange lightsabers on the GTN, as well.
  14. Did a lot of that, still wouldn't pop for me or a friend, but I got it on my alt. Bugged?
  15. I was unable to get Plaguebearer to pop up for me yesterday or today. What do you need to do to trigger the quest?
  16. I think the plague can actually get fully bugged when switching areas. I've been Lightheaded and Feverish (not at the same time) for far longer than twenty minutes, even without switching zones.

    purple

So far, no ones found craftable purple color crystals in the game.
  18. Magenta crystal schem, level 31, off of Trapjaw today. Purple quality, +16 Endurance, requires Artifice 400.
  19. The Moderate and Abundant missions seem okay, anything else is still minimal returns. 300 credits on a 700 credit mission. Greater than 50% loss. Even other skills aren't that bad.
  20. Ah. I hadn't been doing that kind of comparison, and I had been running mostly Tier 3 missions, because I want the mission discoveries for my crafters, so the spread was a little tighter.
  21. It seems to me that's what happened is the lockbox rewards are now those for moderate-yield missions of the same tier, which is why only moderate-yield missions seem profitable.
  22. I could see a Flashpoint with a small, EXTREMELY advance-force of Yuuzhan Vong. No real interaction beyond killing them and destroying whatever MacGuffin they're working on, perhaps some kind of bio-engine that'll help the invasion force get here faster. Leave the whole thing as a kind of "who was that masked man" deal, something anomalous but easily forgotten in the midst of everything else going on.
  23. Fact 119: John Williams made Steven Speilberg change his mind about the theme to Jaws.
  24. Oh, I agree completely. But mention Clone Wars around ten Star Wars fans, and you'll get eight projectile vomits, one "meh, whatever," one "I really like it!" For the record, I really like it.
  25. Well, Palpatine was heir to a tradition the Jedi had tried, and practically succeeded, at wiping out a thousand years previously. Even the title of the movie seems to support the idea that whole of the Clone Wars was nothing more than Palpatine's elaborate revenge scheme against the Jedi. The First Galactic Empire was partly the fulfillment of the ancient Sith Dream, and partly so Palpatine didn't sit around looking at a thousand Jedi corpses and say, "Well. . . now what?"
