I second this, fully agree.

The way SWG implement 3D space (Jump To Lightspeed), was awesome... as republic you had your X fighter were you could attack death-star like ships, just as the movies, trying to infiltrate the core,... Now what space made good in SWG was the flexibility to dodge/roll your ship to avoid incoming lasers.. it felt just like a FPS/MMORPG. Loved it. Beside of that you could use your ship to stock items / house (decorated)...

The way SWG brought every planet alive... * Naboo had the beautiful waterfalls, * Endor has the jungle / ewok village, * Tatooine had Jabba's palace and tusken raiders castle, * Correlia had the big Coronet with beautiful nature around it, * Dantooine had the biggest player cities (Lowca server) organising mount races... Wonderfull.. etc etc etc.. Remember hunting world bosses (which were spawning randomly around the planet) hunting those... Collecting Mandalorian armor from underground laboratories / caves etc.. There were many female playing SWG just because they loved the possibilities of tailoring, having there own shop, dancing, entertainment, politics, .... ( Bring back SWG PRE-CU !!! ) (Played from launch to CU) SWTOR has ALOT of work, but has great potential.

In my oppinion. The devs got ALOT of content that is in the make, for years, but it's just not ready yet to be released... They already got pets, new professions, housing, crafting, even space... But it's not finnished yet. So they released a basis version of the game already to gain funds... That's what I think. We will be getting tons of content very soon.. I hope..

Played SWG Played SWTOR At the moment... My vote goes for OP, SWG it is. * My honest opinion. Fanboys please don't kill me. * PS. I believe SWTOR can become MUCH better than SWG.. But far from atm.

I second that... 100%.. SWG environment, economy, housing, tailoring, crafting... with SWTOR combat / class / skills... Awesome. No matter what all other people say. Awesome.

It was quite depressing to realise when you pop lv 50 (yesterday) since launch (I got a life) you have to do it an other 8 times.. I just want to play 1 char, make that one stronger, enjoy being high level, do wars, flashpoint, etc... Not repeat the same "go there and kill..." quests for a million times...

As known, the economy in the game is close to a standstill. This is what I suggest, and stole from every other MMORPG. - Let gear (Armor / weapons / etc) break down.. every repair -10% for example. At 0% the gear will break down. -> This allow people to buy new gear -> Players will take more care of their precious gear, and not just waste it in every PVP / PVE battle. -> Players will take more care to stay alive, and not just suicidal run into a battle. - Let crafting gear be more precious than throphy gear -> trophy gear should really really really be rare and not that much stronger as crafted gear -> Allow to craft rare gear with found ingredients (earned in kills & completion of dungeons - solo/group) I think these changed would do alot for the game... Anyone suggestions to this, please post them...

Can anyone confirm that is is not possible to add someone from the opposite faction to the friend list, or even /tell them? If that's true... that's really, really, really~ stupid. I swear to the republic as my friend does to the empire.. why can't we talk to each other in the same game on the same server? Change that >.< Thank you.

It won't make a single difference in performance for swtor. More RAM only allows you to multitask more. Except if you're thinking to play swtor, create 3D models and run 10x 1080p movies at the very same time, it's not needed. Don't waste your money. This is a big marketing trick atm where stores sell you these 8-16 GB RAM systems with an i3 processor and a 5400 RPM hard drive -You're getting ripped off- Cheers

Fully agree with the topic maker. Oh.. And yes.. I've played SWG from launch to the date the released CU. Still love this game. I still hope they make it more sandboxish later on.. It's too easy, too straight forward.

An i7 can turbo to 2.4, 2.8, 3.2.. depending on the model... energy saving mode is 1.6
