  1. I have never unsubbed but I hav enot been very active due to the pain of finding groups. With a LFG tool I might start playing more often if it works well. I am not a fan of guilds becasue of the drama that is in every guild and the fact that I Do not like being pestered to raid or group when I do not feel like it. As a healer that happens alot as well. So a LFG tool will make getting groups a lot less boring than standing around for hours trying to find people to run.
  2. I like them both. Once I realized you could swap most of their gear though, I have found Iresso to be better for my style. Being a healer, I could keep the Qyzen up but I spent alot of time keeping him up. Then when I would aoe I would sometimes grab aggro since Qyzen aoe is not great. Iresso on the other hand seems to hold aoe targets better which allows me to force quake a lot more.
  3. Im finne with droid parts being part of the rewards when they are not class specific missions. As a Consular, we do not have a driod companion other then the ship guy. So seeing a driod part reward during a class specific mission is rather annoying.
  4. Also, Somehting I have not seen mentioned. You are on Quesh. One of the first things many of us noticed when we first got to Quesh was the huge leap in damage that the mobs deal out. I was having little trouble before Quesh levleing in much the same way you described and after I left Quesh I was able to go back to that same type of leveling. But while on Quesh I found myself having to heal alot more my companion and/or meditating to recover after fights more often. It's not entirely you. When asked in genreal chat that morning, several others on my server reported the same thing. We were all getting hit a lot harder then the previous planet. Stick it out and get off Quesh and, I would wager, you should be able to go back your standard rotation.
  5. Loving it. By far a better launch than SWG, Wow, DDO, and AOC. Although I will giv AoC credit. they had a fairly smooth launch with few ques. Just a lot of exploitable bugs and non working seige sytem. early access was a great Idea and handled appropriatly. Most the complaints about EGA was people having to wait in line. big whoop there. We wait in lines all the time and we pay to wait. Ques suck, no one likes them , but after many MMO launches, they have come to be expected at first. They will smooth out. they always do.
  6. I would rather have a LFD tool rather then standing around for hours spamming for groups. mainly tanks. Seems our server has an abundance of healers atm. Im not as young as I was when I started MMO's. I dont have all night to waste spamming for groups. you can argue this or that ruined this or that game. You will find others who will argue this or that saved the game for them. It's all a matter of perspective. For many, this tool allows them to enjoy all aspects of the game instead of just skipping the early flashpoints because groups take to long to find.
  7. Thats what was said about SWG before the NGE went into effect. Boy were they wrong. back on topic, it depends. I will probably resub for a month. if I continue depends alot on content, while max level, and UI. As a healer levleing as a healer the ui is horrible. Have to constantly rearrange my icons to heal a flashpoint, then back again to level with. If the Ui is not improved upon fairly fast then it may discourage me. Will have to decide when the time comes to roll my dps toons or wait a few months. But if I am having fun levleling then I could easily level multiple toons while I wait.
  8. 8/10, it is a lot of fun but needs some improvment in many areas. UI being a major one oh and it's so fun standing around the Fleet spamming general to find a tank for the flashpoints. / end sarcasm
  9. You obviously were a Late vanilla/BC/Wrath baby wow player. you were not that at the launch of wow where server ques were upwards of 4 hours. You were not there when servers were unplayable from crashes their entire first week. Constantly up and down. So yeah Blizzard did a wonderful job on their first MMO launch and were 1000% ready to roll. /end sarcasm since the OP probably can't tell what it is. Blizzard only gave a day or two free game time from all the crashes after the mass complaining they got. Their Customer service took days to give you an awnser if ever. In the last 7 years, WoW has come a long way but they in no way have had a better launch then Bioware has with SWTOR. Yes Bioware has much to improve and answer for. Horrible UI's, Horrible AH system etcetc. but even though ques suck, they are not near as bad as WoW had their first 3months.
  10. Give it time. The game is still very young and many people do not look at it as they are still learning the game. Also, as there is no huge amount of extra credits in the majority of the playerbase as of yet, people tend to be more thrifty. Yes there are options on the vendors but honestly most the quest gear/badge gear is better or we get better in drops from the instances. But I keep plugging stuff on the AH and some sells some does not. As usual though alot of low level stuff does not sell fast since we are leveling and out leveling it pretty fast. The orange moddable stuf is great but a new concept to many people as well. Will take them time to understand it.
  11. Not everything wil sell, but I have had alot of luck with blue weapons, relics, helemts and onther random things that drop. rarely do the greens sell but once in a while a few do. There are always those who will buy. At all stages of the game.
  12. I saw one on Taris, it was from a quest deep in. Then I think I recall getting one on narr Shadda. But Yes they were when I was early to mid 20's Until then I did not see one either.
  13. There are also a few that pop as a quest reward option.
