Not sure if this will help you, but they way I have done it is to map the crouch and cover function (not sure the exact name, but it is different from cover in that you won't roll but set up your mobile cover where you are) from you abilities to a quickslot, and then map my hotkey to that quick slot.

All depends on your style: I like playing a ranged DPS character, so Merc is better. If you like close (ish) combat as a tank, PT seems better. I personally do like to dual blasters too... :-)

I did a quest as a consular in the same village. The matriarch has actually retreated to the top of a hill somewere, and she is on the second floor of a building... So you may be at the wrong building. You need to follow that path along which you hae to light all those markers...
