This quest has been broken since beta. It is doubtful they are going to fix it at all.

Quick question: what is your IQ? Alts are not end game. end/end/ Noun: A final part of something, esp. a period of time, an activity, or a story. Verb: Come or bring to a final point; finish. By definition, anything 'alt' related is not end game. It is the beginning of the game. To the OP: End game in the sense of character progression currently consists of HM FP's, PvP and operations. HM FP's drop off once you are geared from operations so that leaves 2 things to do. Operation content is easily cleared in mediocre gear and once you end up clearing HM/NM content and are fully geared the only real competition in the game is PvP. Hopefully 1.2 operation content is substantially harder and will require skill to clear.

The only problem I have encountered which probably isn't resolve related is my (powertech) grapple occasionally does NOT pull a person at all (I am talking NOT blocked by anything) yet it builds resolve.

I have done every space mission EASILY without them.. is there a good reason to use them?

To the above comments; I gain roughly 300 more of my main stat and a buttload more crit power and surge in rakata. This is far better in terms of raw pvp damage than what the equivalent battlemaster set provides me even though I have less survivability and weak heals.

Depends on your current stats and whether burst damage will benefit you more (ex: g4-b3) or sustained damage will. Also depends on whether you're at soft caps (crit/surge) and the adrenal you use. A lot of factors are involved mate why don't you test it yourself?

Ok, here's the kicker, by the time YOU are level 49, I WILL ALSO BE LEVEL 49, BUT I WILL HAVE MORE LEGACY EXPERIENCE THAN YOU. Cool, huh? You know why? Because I got ONE char to level 30 when you were levelling 8 chars to level 30, then I levelled 7 chars to level 30, then proceeded to level them evenly, just like you, at the same pace, except I have been gaining legacy experience the whole time. Hard to wrap your head around right? Pretty technical.

Are you seriously this ignorant? 1. Get ONE character to level 30 (and get legacy) - level 7 more chars from 1 to infinity. Keep in mind you will be gaining legacy experience the whole time you're levelling the chars from 1 to 50. 2. Get 7 chars to level 20~, one to 30, get legacy, level rest of chars to infinity. You are only gaining the legacy exp FROM level 20. You missed out on all the other levels worth of legacy experience that you would have gotten if you had the legacy when you started these chars. Either way you do the above your chars will be at the SAME levels at the SAME point in time, except one you're gettomg experience from 1-50 and the other you are gaining experience from 20-50.

Lol strong logic. you would gain more legacy exp from 1-50 than 25-50 no matter how you put it.

Keep in mind it's however many levels you stated of the low level range, this probably equals 1 or 2 legacy levels if that. No big deal.
