  1. I did the new tactical flashpoint "Kuat Drive Yards" last night. I was surprised at the amount of XP I got, so it got me thinking. Would I level faster if I did my class missions and flashpoints only? Am I missing out on much skipping the standard planet missions? Thanks.
  2. I have a full set of the modable orange gear to start levelling in. I was curious as to how often should I look at upgrading the mods/armor etc? Also, what's the easiest/cheapest way to do this each time I upgrade? GTN, vendors or tokens? Thanks for any advice offered.
  3. Hi all, Just a quick question. I intend to play as a healer when I reach 55. I know the gear difference between a healer and a DPS are pretty much the same until later, so I was wondering. As I level is it worth putting my talents in the Sawbones tree so when I get a flashpoint I can perform as a healer? Would my DPS as I am leveling be gimped to much though? or Shall I just level as a DPS then re-spec to sawbones at 55? If I go DPS which of the 2 trees is best? Thanks for reading and any replies.
  4. Howdy, Returning to the game to give it another go, played when it first came out but kept hitting a wall with level progression. Curious though as to what peoples opinions are as to which healer is the easiest/fun to level? Are any classes actually easy to level as an all out healer spec? Or is it best to level as their respective DPS tree then re-spec to healer later on? Which is easiest to re-spec/re-gear? Thanks for any input.
  5. Is orange gear at say level 10 the same as at 50 (Excluding mods & enhancements etc)? Is there any difference? I ask as if I have a orange chest piece at level 10 I like the look of can I keep it all the way to 50? Of course keeping up to date on mods and enhancements along the way. Thanks.
  6. Would it be worth taking 3 gathering skills and just selling the materials I get on the GTN? Could you generate a lot of credits this way?
  7. Just wondering how do you use your focus when tanking. Do you spam your focus generating abilities first then use all your abilities that use up your focus, then build it up again and so on. or Generate just enough focus (Like 4 points) to use one ability, then build up another minimum amount to use another ability and so forth. I understand from reading guides etc that priorities change and there is no set rotation. I was curious what players are actually finding they do. Thanks
  8. First things, sorry to have to use a WoW reference but it is the only MMO I have ever played, until now. I have played a healer in WoW since release and a Sage healer in SWTOR so far. What I like about SWTOR is the fact I can take a breath and enjoy my environment and the graphics from time to time (Maybe this will change later?). I have been tempted with tanking in the past in WoW but having to run a set rotation, watch meters and generaly play like a robot gets boring and take the fun out of the game. Just curious how Guardian tanking compares to WoW? I guess this is aimed more toward higher levels/endgame. Simply put, is it enjoyable/fun? The whole melee lightsaber fighting really appeals to me, but I don't want to find myself not enjoying it like the tanking in WoW can make you feel. Sorry if there are similar posts like this already. Thanks for reading and any replies you may like to post.
