  1. No it doesn't. It would encourage smart use of your stuns.
  2. So I take it you guys are illiterate since you didn't read this? Why so dumb?
  3. With how much AoE and stealth detection this game has, this argument fails horribly. Stealth isn't as effective as you think it is. Sure, it has it's pluses, but it no where near as useful as a leap is.
  4. In other games all melee usually have in combat gap closers. Where are the Lethality/Concealment in combat gap closers? Where is the Pyrotech Powertech in combat gap closer that doesn't come at the cost of our only utility?
  5. Sooooooooooooooo why is expanding the community a bad thing?
  6. By your logic I could exploit and I should not be punished for. Since, you know, I should play the game how I want and that would be what I'm doing.
  7. I'm pretty sure the general feeling of the thread is that PvP is boring, always the same(which I agree with), which was the point you were making and my point, that you just agreed with, is that no matter what they do, PvP will eventually get boring and this is as dynamic as it's going to get. They could copy DAoC's PvP, which everyone thought was so amazing for some reason, and it would still EVENTUALLY get boring.
  8. And just because the PvP takes place in a different setting, say the world, doesn't mean it's dynamic either.
  9. So what you're saying is that every single warzone is EXACTLY THE SAME IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD? No differences at all? Not even in the specific players? You must have a small server.
  10. How is the cost high at all? Gearing up in this game is more than a joke, even for someone who only has enough time to play 2 hours a day. If you think otherwise, you're doing something wrong.
  11. You do realize that PvP is dynamic, right? Every warzone is different whereas every PvE instance is the same. So PvP itself is the PvP content, just like EVERY other game. If that isn't PvP content to you, what is? Some crappy little sets of keeps in a random zone that you try to fight against the other faction for control until you realize that it is really just a glorified warzone? How many have you and where's your proof of it? People who praise GW2 without playing it are JUST as bad as the people who **** on it.
  12. No they don't. Let's take WoW for example, since everyone else does. The competitive PvP that happens in that game is in high rated arena. And everyone in high rated arena has the exact same gear level.
  13. Lol, if you think GW was balanced in any sense of the word, then you're delusional. If you didn't have the right class composition then you were totally screwed(I couldn't go in with all of one single class and beat a team that had a good balance of classes). And that is the meaning of the word unbalanced. People that complain about gear in games like SWTOR or WoW obviously don't want to put any time into their character and if this is the case, why play an RPG at all if you don't want to progress your character? Gear is so easy to obtain in this game that it really is a non-factor.
  14. I voted for the 'good' option though the gripe I have with it is that it should only go through the 1.5 GCD animation if the ability has less then 1.5 seconds left, otherwise it'll just show how much time is left on it's initial cooldown. Also, people don't go test things on the PTR, like Ilum changes, because we don't have the means to. We don't even need a direct character copy. All you need to do is add a quest to the PTR that grants you enough experience for max level and gives you leel 50 gear. Rift did this until it could get PTR copies out and a lot of people tested their patches.
  15. Uhhh, crew skills are as essential to PvP as they are to PvE. Sorry, bro.
