  1. I know for a fact that there are a lot of people doing precisely that. Like so many Star Wars video games (and other products) over the past 20 years, it is a mediocre product that gets 100 times more attention than it deserves because it is "STAR WARS".
  2. I don't mind the beams of light, but they really should take it down from 8 seconds to about 5. A well organized group can defend the first line of doors way too easily. And I regularly see groups of 3 defend turrets against groups of 6 or 7... all they do is AOE, knockback, and sprint back to the turret when they die. And I say this as someone who benefits from those game conditions.
  3. Huttball isn't bad, but there are just way tioo many knockbacks and stuns in this game, and in huttball a single stun can completely kill you. And before people chime in with the usual "oh you're just sick of getting your butt kicked" let it be known that I say this as a member of a class that uses knockbacks and stuns on a VERY regular basis. I just have to roll my eyes at how easy it is.
  4. I can lead a sniper away just as easily as any other class. IMHO, the problem is that either people don't understand strategies to win BGs, or they understand the strategies but just don't care because there's no real incentive to win.
  5. Each BG has its pluses and minuses and I completely understand how some people prefer one over the other. What I don't understand is the idiocy behind the people who designed it such that we cannot choose which BG we get to go to. I like the Arathi Basin - uh I mean Alderaan Civil War - the most. What sucks is I have to get sent to Huttball about 4 times for every trip to Alderaan.
  6. I don't think SW:TOR players understand the basic strategies of the PVP battlegrounds. It is so easy to kite people wherever you want to take them, whether that be away from the turrets, ball handlers, or blast doors. Once they've got their sights set on you, they focus like a laser beam and will follow you anywhere you go. All too easy.
  7. I have the same problem. The only thing the incompetent customer service guys are going to say is they are going to "suggest" you try to find someone else with that quest that you can group up with to finish your part of the quest which you can't abandon. I'll see you guys in 6 months.... maybe this will actually be a playable game by then but for now, it's a pathetic, incomplete, rushed, unfinished, ridiculously glitched product.
  8. I have a "bonus mission" in my quest which I didn't achieve. I turned the quest in but the bonus mission is still in my log. For whatever reason, I cannot "abandon" this quest (I still don't understand the rhyme or reason of why some quests can be abandoned but not others). So I figure, OK I'll do the quest just to get it out of my log. But I can't access the point to kill the guys I need to kill because it gives me the red forcefield (meaning an inaccessable area). So now I have a quest in my log that I can't do and I can't get rid of. Seriously, people? Are your game designers this retarded?
  9. I'll take this as my answer. :-D Kind of like the datacrons where you have to keep trying and trying...
  10. Why do I take on a PVP quest when I never get credit for winning it?!?!? Seriously. Someone wake me up in 6 months when this game actually works instead of the half-***, bug filled product we're currently playing.
  11. The PVP in this game sucks. Not only am I totally sick of huttball, I'm now not even getting credit for warzone wins for completing my daily quest. This game needed 6 more months of development. But greed and licensing issues are more important than a quality product.
  12. Really, Bioware? You're want to make these impossible to get Datacrons, that's fine. But waiting about an hour to get one only to have the stupid balloon disappear into thin air? Really? This will be a really good game in 6 months, which is when they should have waited to release it anyway.
  13. +1. You should be able to hearth to another planet, pure and simple.
  14. Anyone know what the deal is with the vendor? Can't find it anywhere. :-(
  15. Yes that is exactly it! Thank you guys for the info. I turned off "Dark Side Corruption" because I want to keep the dark maroon color. :-)
  16. My character got suddenly and dramatically paler. She went from a dark red to a very light and pale red. This happened last night and didn't go away this morning when I logged back in. Please don't say that it's the lighting. Believe me, this change is too drastic (and can be seen everywhere, inside and outside) to just be the lighting. I hate the way I look now. Is this a glitch and, if so, anyone know how I can fix it?
  17. I'm able to take the speeder to the Upper Industrial but I cannot for the life of me find how to get to the lower industrial.
  18. I swear, I've been looking for 90 minutes and just can't figure it out. Can anyone please help?!? :(
  19. OK cool thanks for the help. Seems to me that the game designers should have just stayed with the alt key which a lot of us are already used to.
  20. Yes if you have an enemy targetted than a heal will go to you. But when I'm healing and have an ally targetted, sometimes I want to just heal myself without targetting myself.
  21. Can you give yourself a heal while targetting someone else? I hate to use Warcraft as an example but since this game takes after Warcraft so much.... For example, in Warcraft I have "Flash Heal" in slot 6. So I can target someone else but hit alt-6 to give myself the Flash Heal. Is there any way to do that in SW:TOR?
