Looking for lost non-US players to create a casual PVP guild
soldenal replied to MexarCarn's topic in Guild Recruitment
Hi Guys, I know you all are looking for players in Europe time zones and interested in joining a PvP guild. May I suggest our guild which is set out to help PvPers on this server to enjoy WZs/Arenas as long as they are courteous and willing to learn to improve or willing to help others to improve. We are inclusive to both factions, any time zone. We currently have one player in the Europe time zone. Seeing as you only need 4 players to do a full WZ/Arena team, it might be a good start if you join us. Besides there are players who play in day-time in the US or odd hours which might coincident with your play time. Check us out at rbsswtor.proboards.com and discuss with us if you aren't sure about the fit. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=710129 -
There are actually folks thought about this all along. There were guilds on PoT5 like WAR who organized pug ranked event occasionally. There is also this thread about "Fight Club" that was started near end of last year. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=698925 On this end, we have setup guilds Blue Syndicate (Pub) and Red Syndicate (Imp) on the PoT5 server and slowly growing. If you are interested in community Ranked Warzone events, you would be well served to join us so we can organize such events together. If you like your current guild, you can also stay in it and just join as associate member at our website rbsswtor.proboards.com and are welcome to use our mumble server after you sign up with the website.

Guild is setup on both pub (Blue Syndicate) and imp (Red Syndicate) sides. Other in game names you can contact: Pub side: Ranulph, Minirotta, Praiden, Sol'denak, Sol'denal, Syngnetix Imp side: Rawulf, Ima'kill'ya, Sol'denaq We just started the guild so don't have large number of members yet, but all members are active and we believe the idea behind the guild is very sound and it will grow very well in due time. The main objective of the guild is to improve the PvP experience of all members and non-members on the server that find this idea attractive. If you don't (yet) want to join the guild you can still sign-up to the website and we can communicate better that way still.

Good to get the ball rolling, we will worry about perfection later . Whoever is interested in helping with the idea while having fun fighting along side each other can also contact my in game characters, mainly played toons are Sol'denak/Sol'denal pub side. We especially need someone who mainly play imp side to head up the imp side of the syndicate.

Praiden got my four chars in the guild. Sol'denak/Sol/denal/Sol/denas/Sol/denaz. Hope more join and we can play together and recruit more folks.

Well it might just come down to your heroic getting-out-of-warm-bed super early . Once it's started, it will be rolling.

Understand the time pressure and appreciate you effort on keep this idea going. I will say this though, if folks didn't end up joining the guild, their vote shouldn't count. So it might be better to vote on the name when you do get the players to join up and create the guild. Huckdabuck/Texassentinel in this thread didn't really express his preference either. Of cause a re-vote can only happen if everybody agree, otherwise should stick with Red/Blue syndicate. I personally feel it is too generic. Fight club was the OP's brain child and what it started out to be.

Thursday Night (19 Dec) PUG Rated Arena Teams
soldenal replied to SOULCASTER's topic in Prophecy of the Five
I am a what you would call mediocre PvPer, with just 3 obroan pieces and 31k health (buffed) for a DPS Guardian. Hope to join the PUGs, but if higher qualification is needed, please let me know. -
The point system seems a bit arbitrary . I suggest holding a vote when the guild gather the first 10 players that actually join the guild, that might be more official -feel.

LVL 55 Gunslinger looking for a patient PVP home
soldenal replied to MindlessDrone's topic in Guild Recruitment
Hope that you have found a good guild that suits your play style. I don't think Republic is doing as bad as folks on the forum make it out to be. But seems like Republic PvP guilds are kinda mum on this forum for what ever reason. -
MMO players come and go, some play for a while and leave, they may or may not come back. And there are always new players influx. The good thing about SWTOR PvP is gearing up for new players in this game is relatively easy, which is a smart thing for BW/EA IMO. It is pretty fun as is like you found out though. By the time you find it boring, then by all means move on or come back later when there are new updates. I think SWTOR is still doing pretty well, no worry for closing down any time soon. If you enjoy it then play, eventually all MMOs will close down any way, no need to worry about that.

Welcome back! This thread was going pretty hot before the short hiatus, now folks have to get it moving again. I support the name of Republic Fight Club Imperial Fight Club or Fight Club of the Republic Fight Club of the Empire

One thing you can do is always improve yourself. Maintain good gear, play a good spec for PUGs. Improve keybinding, UI placements. Improve your personal play. Also learn how the other classes work. Then the team work aspects. Even when you lose, observe what good strategy or tactics that the opponents do and learn from that. Communicate with the team with good tactics. Encourage the team even if you lose. I play on POT5 or POF Republic side, mostly random PUGs. It was almost never easy to win against the Imps, every win was hard fought. I guess the imps want to win quite strongly, you just have to want to win more than them and play with aggressiveness while still maintain a cool head. I maintain about 50/50 win/lose with random PUGs on either my main or my alts. That's good entertainment for me. Even when we lose, I can always learn something from it, so it is not all bad. If you find a few good players to queue up together, that will improve your win/lose ratio for sure.
