  1. I bet the OP drives around on the weekends raging at people that have new dresses with the "Price Tags" still on them, but only asking 50 cents.
  2. People were playing SWTOR in 3D during beta. While SWTOR is not officially supporting 3D yet, all most all games have an inherent 3D capability. Here's a quote from an article in Popular Mechanics "PC gaming has been compatible with 3D for years. "Every PC game, starting from later versions of DirectX 8 [a suite of development applications], had the 3D information in it," says David Chechelashvili, head of the gaming division at 3D hardware-maker XpanD Cinema. 3. Ahh I see that you have the PS3 Display. It's not officially supported by Nvidia, there are workarounds. Read through the thread on it over at Nvidia. GL http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=215087
  4. I unfortunately have this game installed on a PC in another room and not on my 3D rig. (didn't want to uninstall any games to make room) As far as I recall, the biggest thing mentioned on the 3D Vision forumns was that namplates were not rendered at the proper depth, but those can be turned off in preferences. I recommend trying the Nvidia forumns for a solution. There were several SWTOR threads on 3D there.
  5. Oh yah, BTW the PLED-W500 is not supported by Nvidia, I use a modded .inf. (EDID Override) Yes, 2ms is fine.
  6. Absolutely worth going back too, except for people play on 3D displays with high response times. I played on a LG Passive TV for awhile, but it was too laggy. The projector is awesome(PLED-W500)
  7. 3D is all about the depth and not about the pop outs. If there were a lot of pop outs, you'd get a terrible headache from the focal points of your eyes changing back and forth. Devs intentionally avoid pop out too often for that reason. Believe me, pop out is not so much what you want, you want a great depth. The amount of detail on armor and weapons, really reveals itself, when played in 3D. One of my favorite games in 3D is Darksiders, I played it again and again, because the 3D was so good. Hell, I watched Open Season 5 times within a month and I hardly ever watch a movie twice.
  8. Just keep in mind that renderering in Stereographic 3D drops your framerate almost in half, so you'll need a fairly decent graphics card for this game. What it's actually doing is rendering a seperate image for each eye, instead of one image for both eyes. Hence the 50% loss.
  9. You may have one of the monitors that was made to be used with AMD's HD3D, who knows, you didn't list the model #. For a list of Nvidia compatible Displays see the following links http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-system-requirements.html http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-system-requirements.html http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-displays.html
  10. Too bad a lot of the stereographic 3D HDTVs and monitors are horribad. Turns a lot of people off and makes them think all 3D Displays are junk. But, try a DLP projector to game in 3D on a 100 or 120 inch screen and you never go back! 3DRocks.............adds replayability and immersiveness to so many games.
  11. BTW a combat log is not the same thing as a damage meter addon. It's a helpful tool for a player to use for improving game play. Unless you're one of the many that AFK in some corner during PVP matches, I'd see no reason why you would not crave a combat log to see what ability was used against you by other players.
  12. Keep in mind that many people were on break from school, took vacation time or had set aside time from other games they were playing for SWTOR. I know quite a few people that unsubbed to finish Skyrim and wait to see if improvements are made. I know others that are so infuriated, they'll never be back. I'm still on the fence. But a quick check showed over 400 people combined on Hutta, Korriban and Dromund Kaas. Remember the population caps on the SWTOR servers are hella low, compared to many other games.
  13. That link is so lame and poorly written. The fact that you repeatedly link it, seems to imply that you think the rest of us are idiots that just mash buttons and have no idea that videogames are not some kind of cosmic magic.
  14. If they were to come out and say that no one at Bioware ever played an MMO before, it'd be easier to forgive some of the short comings. Things like no target of target or a combat log are huge oversights. Thankfully they are being implemented, as are other things. But fail is fail.
  15. It'd be nice to know exactly how I died while I AFK'd momentarily on Corellia. I"m thinking it was one of those level 11 chest farmers using a 3rd party God-Mode Hax, but I'll never know. Nerf low level chest farmers plzz
  16. Going round and round to collect armaments makes me dizzy and gives me a headache! The zone is way too friggin huge, need more speeder way points or something. Farming kills at the base is just horribly boring. Skirmishes at mid are fun, but too often favor one side or the other by so much, it ruins it, and doesn't last long. It'd be nice to see something implemented like Tol Barad or Wintergarsp in WoW. Where people would que up for a battle that would happen every hour, then face off over objectives with equal amounts of players.
  17. Actually they've released several Betas in the meanwhile that are working and functioning very well. I'm running 295.51
  18. Buy Nvidia, 3D Vision is da bomb........
  19. Tired of MMOs, NO. Tired of rep grinds, Yes. That's why I quit WoW and will never go back. I loved Warhammer (great PVP), lot's of people did. We felt abandoned, so we abandoned the game. SWTOR is a great game, unforunately there are many fundamental MMO aspects missing from the game. I could have easily loved this game, but as it is, it's more of a love/hate relationship.
  20. You're critz hurt and make me cry.
  21. Also, if your character is falling while stuck, preventing you from using certain abilities, hit control+u twice, resetting your UI. Most of the time, it put your character in a non falling state of being stuck, allowing you to use various skills that were previously unavailable. You can que for PVP as well, sometimes after the match, you'll find yourself no longer stuck. I was doing my class quest, it took me to an orbital station that is not normally accessable. I became stuck, /unstuck did nothing for me, my fleet pass was on cooldown and there was no where to quick travel to. Logging in and out did nothing. I opened a ticket and waited, I had 1 guildie online at the time that was in his own class story and said he'd come try to help afterwards. About a half hour passed, before it came to me to Que PVP, worked like a charm.

  23. If you do not have access to Vent, Teamspeak etc.... I suggest you try Dolby Axon, it works very well. More and more people are using it. It's free. oh yah, i agree, in game would be nice.
  24. Habitual AFKRs need a permaban from BGs. Full team premades need to be allowed, so that you are not forced to play with people like the OP on your team. They need allow people to choose which BGs they Que for, I like them all, but constantly see people leave because they hate a particular BG. With ratings. more scrubs will use third party software to cheat. This will need to be dealt with swiftly and harshly. If you do not like to PVP, please stay out, they have PVE gear sets you can grind for or do dailies for money.
