  1. For real. I've been in GSF matches where (being the poor player that I am) I simply COULD NOT get a lock on any of the players on the other team, and because of this I've been removed from the instance entirely. Not only have I been removed, but I've been PENALIZED with a GF lockout for TEN MINUTES because I couldn't hit someone. I understand that this system has been put in place to curb those who would AFK during matches for whatever reward they can get at the end of a game, but for those of us who are ACTUALLY trying, find a better way.
  2. Thhiiiisssss ^^ It's an MMO. But there are currently very little group-oriented contest objectives anymore. Since we're breaking it down so much, maybe there should also be additional conquest objectives based on guild size or even invasion target.
  3. I have reported guilds that are botting their way to CQ. I've gotten no response. Hence why I'm resorting to posting here. They obviously don't care to look into it. What other solution is there, then? Everywhere else in life, if one person messes up then everyone else suffers the consequences. Why should this be any different? This is why we can't have nice things. Last I checked, macros were against the ToS. But 3 to 5 people (yes, on the SF server) crafting their way PAST the large guilds with 20+ people online... well. This is neither here nor there, since all the "respectable" guilds have taken on KP farming for conquest points for some stupid reason. But that's another gripe for another thread.
  4. I thought this was some kind of joke. If this is your "nerf" to KP farming, you'd best come up with something better. Because it hasn't stopped anything, and those of us who don't partake are getting a little frustrated over the lack of GF pops for literally EVERYTHING ELSE in the game. I'm not the first to point this out, and I don't think I'll be the last.
  5. All of that is true. But people are abusing it. Hence why I said if they aren't going to do anything about the bot-crafters, they should get rid of it entirely. I would personally prefer that they get rid of the bot crafters and keep the Crafting: Inventor objective.
  6. Well. You're wrong... about all of that. And that's OK. I don't have any interest in hindering the smaller guilds. An infinite repeatable is just asking for more bot-crafting to happen. I'm looking at the 60-plus million conquest points guilds are posting when they only have 3 to 5 players online at any given time. That's my concern, not the little guy.
  7. Can we get rid of the conquest objective Crafting: Inventor please. It's broken. People are exchanging their green Jawa junk for level 1 crafting mats and crafting their way to millions of conquest points. Normally I wouldn't care, because hey... if that's how you want to play the game and spend your time, power to ya. However, I believe that people are using bots to keep crafting even while they are away from their computers. If you don't want to look into this in the back end, just get rid of it entirely.
  8. Has anyone else had this issue? I downloaded the launcher to my new computer. It began installing the game and got to a point where I could play on starting planets. So I did that. I walked away from my computer when the install was at around 60%, came back... and was logged out of the server for being inactive. When I tried to log back into the server, I was placed in a queue. So I decided to quit the game and just finish the install while I waited. So now, my launcher is supposedly installing the game, but it's sitting at 0% and not doing anything. I've tried running a repair on the launcher. Short of re-installing the game (again), not sure what else to do!
  9. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. My husband sent them a note making this very request the LAST time there was extensive server downtime. Do you know what their response was? "We don't do that." When your customer pays for a service on a monthly, bi-month, quarterly or yearly basis, they are paying for the service to be there. If you cannot provide the service, you provide compensation. Apparently, SWTOR doesn't believe that this is the appropriate way to keep customers.
  10. I'm so angry about this I can't even see straight. So VERY angry.
