Tatooine on my smuggler was pretty sparse. A few droids here and there. I've not seen many nodes for any of the other gathering skills there either, though.

Not to mention that it is a bit early to say that anything at all happened. Claiming that Bioware caved and getting upset about it is a bit silly when you have a couple of posts with a 5-10 mission sample size saying something seems different. That's hardly proof enough to get upset over.

In all seriousness, I don't doubt some people are leaving. You can't make a game that appeals to absolutely everyone. I'd be surprised if most of them were not being replaced by new players, though. Of course, only Bioware has access to actual numbers so this entire discussion is pretty pointless.

I drop them and move on too with the intention that I'll likely be leveling another character (or six) through the game and leaving quests unfinished allows me to have new things to experience on the second play through.

Yeah, I meant just not in passive. Sorry. However, I agree, there are times when I wish my companion was a bit more bloodthirsty. I mean, it's adorable when he just stands there not shooting stuff because I've avoided damage for a while...but I'd rather he shoot things.

If I got xp for greyed out mobs what is to stop me from parking my companion and myself in the middle of a spawn with him set to aggressive and walking away from the keyboard for a few hours? They would have to change it so that you didn't get credit for mobs that your companion kills solo. I'd rather not get xp for grey than have to make sure I tag every mob in a group.

Are you sure you aren't thinking of the dual spec feature they have mentioned? I don't recall an AC change ever being talked about.

Thank you for this thread. I'm not generally one for spoilers, but I had head so many horror stories about Lightspring that I was nervous. I picked up the quest at level 26 and really wanted to progress the class storyline but was worried that I would have to level to 30+ to get it done or call in friends. Pulling Diego away made it simple. Completing it in one shot was still a surprise.

I'd agree with this, but I think it's a bit of a trade-off. WoW feels more responsive because all the combat animations go off without reacting to anything other than "You pressed the button" In TOR your character is reacting in combat to other things, deflecting blaster bolts, blocking attacks and such. It looks cooler, to me, and is worth the small hit to responsiveness.

The extra layer is always better, even if you think your safe. In my case it was: A late night + various alcoholic drinks + googling an armory link that turned out to be fake + me not noticing that fact because of the first two. I admit that it was a foolish move, but as a human I'm not always 100% perfect. An authenticator would have saved me the three weeks it took to get my characters restored.

I've not run into any of these problems. I've even had people pass on upgrades so another person could get it that needed it more. Maybe my server is just awesome.

Not that it will matter to me if you can create a 30 character password full of symbols and numbers and different cases or not, but it's really not feasible to brute force an MMO password anyway, isn't it? After a relatively low number of attempts they simply lock you out. Keyloggers and the like are the much larger problem and they do not care how big your password is.

A couple of days ago my entire Black Talon group picked the light side choice at a pivotal point in the run. Don't see very many "the Stalwart" titles on the Empire side.

I usually play females, but my IA looks and talks like the Dread Pirate Roberts and that is simply fantastic.
