  1. Why do you need to prevent access to areas of the the game for a 12 xp STORY boost? I would love for it to stay, I don't have the time any more to be able to have an end-game character AND experience the game from another character. It has been so nice to be able to zoom through the individual story lines without having to do other stuff to fill in the level gaps and end up forgetting what is going on. My plan is to go back and do the planets (quests, datacrons, lore) after I have level capped.
  2. I agree with this. The OP sounds like they are only enjoying the F2P part of the game. Going preferred is probably the way to go if you are not a heavy PvPer, Operations etc. And it will save money! http://www.swtor.com/free/features
  3. /signed This is very frustrating! Our current GM logs in very late evening, so potentially I lose out on a days worth of bonus. She is also on holiday for two weeks. So if she keeps the GM role, I (and other members) lose out on Personal Conquest. I would love to be able to see a feature where you are able to see the next conquest event and a voting system for the next planetary invasion so when reset comes along, bonus points are applied. I have very limited play time and without the bonus the Personal Conquest reward is very far away!
  4. I know, its mad... I am doing rooms up properly one at a time, yet other rooms are a little haphazard. Each stronghold gives you 25% towards your bonus. Each room unlocked ups the amount of hooks available to decorate. To get 100% BONUS you will need to unlock every Stronghold, every room and Decorate every hook. Changing the size of hooks doesn't matter. Each square is one hook.
  5. I tend to find that the English in MMOs is a lot better then the English I have experienced on local parenting facebook groups. The OP head will probably explode with the spelling/grammar etc I have to decipher on those groups. Now factor in that most players on EU servers have English as a second language and it is just embarrassing.
  6. You will find this option needs to be ticked in your PREFERENCES, it is under USER INTERFACE and under TOOLTIP "Enable Companion Comparative Tooltips." You might also find the Alignment gains useful under the Conversation section.
  7. I hated GSF when I first started. You get plopped into a group where people are MILES ahead of you. You need to be on top of them to be be in range, so you get blasted out the sky pretty quickly. You need to do quite a few GSF to be able to afford a few upgrades here and there to be in with a slightly better chance (You might even get a kill!) Very exciting getting your first kill (hahah!) I will admit, I do not play SWTOR for GSF, I enjoy the levelling and crafting a lot more. But I totally understand where the OP is coming from, GSF is frustrating. In WZs it is tiered and you are bolstered, in GSF you might as well be flying around in a cola can with a fly swat.
  8. Thank you. Nice looking website! Keep up the good work, SWTOR needs up to date and well laid out guides etc. I will most certainly be bookmarking you. Please keep it up!
  9. Even though I am not NiM raiding I am bookmarking this. Nicely laid out.
  10. I suppose it depends on what you are after. English language servers only have one of each type (RP, PVP, PVE).
  11. There seems to be an attitude in the game that only people who 'know how to play' are entitled to play and that they should just 'go away'I see it happen in flashpoints and unranked PvP. I find these people incredibly arrogant and would love to see what would happen if they had the same attitude to people in the street. PvE: I've been moaned at for 'not being geared' yet have the gear I need taken by people who do not need it. "L2P! Idiots! Noobs!" etc. Very very constructive! If you are dealing with inexperienced players then give them a clue on what to do, or direct them to a website like dulfy (or a forum link here on how to progress). "Stay at the doors.", "Don't get pulled out/distracted!", "Don't cap all three !" etc etc. You might get a better PvP community eventually. This game is going to die if the community doesn't support potential team mates.
  12. I like the "new" log-in too! I hope they get it to stay this way looks soooo much better!
  13. CE purchasers are not going to get any love since they introduced CC, They have our money from the CE, the only thing we can be grateful is the physical items we got. The (new) exclusive items are now in the hands of people who are willing to part with several million of credits or real money buying the lucky bags. Soo much for people who are willing to sub and who have purchased the COLLECTORS edition with the expectation to COLLECT the silly vanity items etc from the game. You need to part with more cash and try your luck with the RNG. Ultimate kick in the teeth with the SWTOR Caste system.
  14. I completely disagree with deserters having a loss point put against them. Bring in a "cry baby" deserter count instead.

    A PvP a Day...

Hi! Just thought I would add my opinion to this. I enjoy questing and used to be a raider in World of Warcraft, I hated the Warzone PvP in WoW and only did it to obtain the basic mounts. I enjoy the sub max lvl PvP matches. I think the way SWTOR has implemented PvP matches is fab. You won't be steam rolled just because you are lower level and do not have expertise gear. Also the WZs are dependent on the objective. I enjoy PvP the most as a Sage as opposed to my lvl 40ish Smuggler Healer. I try and do my two PvP matches for the experience. 1. Stay by the objective. (Or stay in range of people fighting by the objective if you are a healer, you don't want to make it too easy for the opposing team.) 2. Keep an eye on the objective. I always try to move my camera in such a way I can see the objective. 3. Low Health - Fall back. Try and see if you can get out of the fight for heals. 4. Do not let the other team trick you and keep you busy. 5. Try and be a sneaky son of a gun! Sometimes the other team is too busy and has been 'pulled' away from the door. See f you can get a sneaky cap in! I have done it several times and it is always personally rewarding on a teeheehee scale. 6. Line of Sight! Use it to your advantage, especially as a healer. 7. Attack the same person. You can't heal up someone who is being beaten on by five people. Good luck in Warzones and I hope you enjoy it.
  16. Just had a problem with this. The infection is granted by the stronger Rakghouls. It will apply a debuff to your character (it stacks up to five but does not need to be 5 for the quest to complete). Put your companion on passive. If your mission is not completing after being infected. Wait for the Debuff to come off your character, Reset the quest and annoy another Rakghoul, once you are infected the quest should ding up completed. If you are surrounded by a lot of the smaller Rakghouls, kill them as they have a pack mentality and the more attacking the more damage they do.
  17. Cartel Market > Collections tab at the top and then under Vehicles.
