  1. Most of these features are quite valid. It isn't as if they don't make sense, EX: Sith Inquisitors are too powerful so their DPS should be halved etc etc. If you actually read all of his suggestions, you'd realize that they are of use to many types of players and many player groups, in both PvE and PvP.
  2. In the case that a person disliked SWTOR, does it not follow logic that that person would rather play a game they dislike for free than pay to do the same thing? It makes sense that player populations could drop after the initial free period, the same thing has occurred with other games in the past. You base all your assumptions off of player population at a certain instant in time, it is not at all representative of player population in the future. In addition, who knows that "Full" means? It is just an arbitrary meaning that Bioware assigned to a number. It could very well mean 5 people, 50 people, 5000 people...etc.
  3. I actually read all of it unlike many of the posters that scream L2P etc. Most of the suggestions are actually valid and would help this game greatly. /sign
  4. Considering that the Republic also has a mirror of the Sith Inquisitor, shouldn't they be nerfed as well by your flawed logic? Regarding your statement about your "lvl 35 Sith Inquisitor", I have a lvl 40 Sith Assassin and a lvl 40 Powertech BH. I can safely say that my BH comes out on top more often in an even matchup, but if I can get the jump on an enemy with my Sith Assassin my chances are pretty good. IMO each class has their own strengths and weaknesses, backstabbing the **** out of noobs in a warzone is not a good indicator of class strength. Again, it's my opinion that PvP is more often than not a group matchup anyway and the synergy of classes on each side is more of a factor than any individual class ever will be.
  5. I'm not sure you understood me correctly...I'm on a server with full population, we aren't quitting the server, we are quitting the game. Despite being on a server with full population, the lack of people that I have seen is odd. I haven't seen a single Republic player the entire time I have leveled my SI from 1-40 and my Imperial Agent from 1-22. Don't get me wrong I love this game for it's story line, but my guild mates expected something different when they bought the game I suppose. Please nobody start screaming about how I should go back to WoW or something of that nature.
  6. You remind me of Dwight Schrute. I know with you around the forum will be safe from more holiday greetings!
  7. Would be interesting if we could play Pazaak in the cantinas for credits, titles, etc.
  8. 1oo% agree with OP. they need to up the server caps Also I play on a full PvP server and at times hit 20 ppl on Tatooine. I play at varying times throughout the day as well.
  9. I think it is because the Republic classes aren't as interesting. Bounty Hunter > Trooper, Sith Inquis > Consular in terms of popularity
  10. People are being directed towards the empty servers, why would the pop explode?
  11. 100% agree. My guild members are starting to quit because of this issue.
  12. Agree with above poster. Don't listen to Bioware and go back to the busy server. The game is segregated enough as it is.
  13. I apologize in advance for the post layout, I typed this entire thing one handed on my iPad. I agree with OP, I'm level 33 now and I realized that I have not returned to any of the main hubs until I finished all my quests. There just isn't a point when I can just get my companion to vendor everything and queue for PvP while I'm off in some random area. Even if I did hang around town, it would be weird since nobody else is there. The cantina is near pointless,it is completely devoid of player activity. It only really serves as a location for quest NPCs. I haven't even seen a single Republic player yet due to how segregated the world is, which is quite sad really (I play Empire). Rarely do I meet other players even when I am questing. Usually the population in each area is only about 50 people. I think the main issue is the separation between planets. Ex: In WoW, even though you would go to different level areas to quest you would always return to Ogrimmar/Stormwind to use the auction house, use the vendors, group up for PvP, use the bank and the trainers, etc. As a result you have ppl from all levels mixing together in one area. However in SWTOR, you don't really have an area you are constantly going back to for vendors and so on. Sure there is the fleet but there isn't really a reason for someone from Nar Shadaa to fly all the way back to the fleet just to buy something. If you are questing you'd have to stop what you are doing, head all the way back to the shuttle and fly to the fleet. It feels very unnatural and disconnected.
  14. Bump. Looks like I won't be healing after all
  15. In short: There are not enough servers to match the number of players. So much for early game access. There isn't much point having EGA if people can't even log in.
  16. Agreed. It is insane trying to keep track of the posts that are relevant to the professions I have.
