  1. As a solo player, I got your message loud and clear...go space yourself. Fine. Done. I cancelled my sub, and will be deleting the game after I get home later today
  2. Not even close. Just like the Dark Sanctuary on the Gravestone. How did a place imbued by the Dark Side of the Force get on a ship built by droids? How does that happen? Charles Boyd doesn't know. And he signed off on the story. There is absolutely no point whatsoever in staying subbed to get comps back. Plus, we haven't gotten any comps back since Chapter 14 of KOTFE months ago. I'm not counting Senya.
  3. Then you obviously don't pay a lot of attention to your own (PVP) forums. If you had, you'd know you're the misinformed and backwards one It does if you're soloing heroic Star Fortresses and Uprisings They most certainly did, as the PVP'ers were the loudest ones complaining about it. You said so yourself. And the PVP producer doesn't care. At all. Just as I said he does not
  4. WRONG. Torian is the only one left after you deal with his father Jicoln Don't use bad writing and bad storytelling to try to cover your lack of a cohesive point. The alternating LI theory is complete nonsense
  5. Had you actually played through the BH SL, which you obviously have not, you would know Torian also had no clan. Yet he found his way to Darvannis. Why couldn't Akaavi? The LI rationale is complete garbage. Chapter 10, you get Kaliyo. What if you romanced Temple? She's not an option. Chapter 13 Gault and Vette. What if you romanced Jaesa? Again, not an option. Plus, in chapters 12, 15 and 16 no comps come back
  6. When Charles Boyd took our comps away, he gave absolutely no thought whatsoever as to how to give them back to us. Besides the console in your room on Odessen, that is. Why wasn't Akaavi Spar given back in Chapter 14, the Mando chapter? We got Torian. Perfect place to get Akaavi too. Nope. Charles Boyd is not a storyteller. When composing a story you ALWAYS ask yourself who what where when how and why. When answering the where when and how, he took the easy way out. He can say see, you got them back
  7. As Chelz pointed out, you can get them back via the console in your room on Odessen. The problem with this is they're just there. No furthering their story. Just whatever role you assign them. There was absolutely no forethought whatsoever put into this. The very first question Charles Boyd should have asked himself was when I take away their comps, how am I going to give them back? The console was his out. To compound matters, playing through the chapters and doing the Alliance alerts we get back comps we really don't care about. Rusk, but not Kira. Really? Seriously? Worse yet in Chapter 14, the Mando chapter, we get Torian but not Akaavi? What was Boyd thinking? Simple. He wasn't. Not at all. No thought was put into any of it. Just throw spaghetti at the wall, see what sticks then go with that
  8. With Charles Boyd around, you will NEVER get a good story. Ever. In addition to constantly playing dress-up, he's not a storyteller. He's not a Loremaster. That's why they have to bring in professional writers to actually tell the story
  9. In theory I agree 100%. In actual practice, not so much. And again, I will use myself as an example. I became a sub to this game in mid March 2012. I missed out on the founder title. I cannot get it. I will never get it. The flip side of that coin is this. I remember at the end of the Sith Warrior SL, you were granted the title of Emperor's Wrath. Not Darth. There was such an outcry from players that changed. Same with DS JK's. If you finished the SL DS you were not made a Master. You were given the title of General. Again outcry. Again change. I stayed subbed to get the HK-55 bonus mission. I stayed subbed to get Nico and his gear. Would I be upset if they released Nico to everyone who wanted him? Not at all. Again though, I appreciate why opening some comps to people who didn't initially earn them would rub some people the wrong way. Understandable. And expected. But again, with this game getting barebones funding from the suits any additional revenue options from the CM should be on the table. You have unused assets people want, and will pay for. To me, that's a no-brainer
  10. The PVP Producer does not care. At all. About any of this. For months NiM Ops players have said Sorcs cannot be used in these raids due to their ridiculously low DPS. So, what does the PVP Producer do first? Nerf Mercs/Commandos. For months, people have been begging for the Possessed Hunter heroic on DK to be made instanced. So, what does the PVP Producer do first? Nerf Mercs/Commandos. As long as his PVP comrades are happy, he's happy. He could not care less about PVE. Again, they could have kept Ben irving around for this idiotic nonsense
  11. You don't know *** you're talking about. Go read the PVP forums. And since this thread is about Hexid, and not your inability to comprehend simple factual concepts, I'm done with you. Go lol somewhere else
  12. You obviously don't read what you write. You said PVP'ers aren't concerned with Merc DPS. The PVP forums clearly contradict your statement. You're delusional. You don't know what you're talking about. Again, go lol some more
  13. You're delusional. Take a look through the PVP forums. People are STILL kvetching Mercs are STILL "OP". Still impossible to kill. Still tops on the leaderboards. Go lol some more
  14. Yes they WERE because of PVP butthurt. For months I openly laughed at them in fleet chat. Especially when the Virulence Snipers chimed in. Plus I'm sure there were a bunch of we Arsenal Merc players going saying wow, I'm doing too much damage. And I heal myself way too fast. This isn't right I oughta be nerfed...yeah, not so much... Lol? Really? Seriously? Aren't you up past your bedtime?
  15. You're commingling terms for your own convenience. Just because someone is a sub doesn't mean he/she will fully participate in an event. I stopped doing the DvL event when it became obvious LS would win. I did not want Ranos. At all. I wanted Hexid. I saw no reason to continue for a reward I did not want. I'm not alone. Yes, in the minority but still not alone. You have subs who skip the Rak, Gree and Bounty events. I'm on of them. I can't be bothered. And again I'm a sub
  16. Before the nerfs (thanks Mr PVP Producer) I soloed all the heroic Star Fortresses with my DvL Gunnery Commando. Been using my DvL Sorc and Slinger to farm heroics for the crates. Don't do much with my DvL Sentinel and still have to finish the chapters with my DvL Arsenal Merc (again, thanks for the nerf Mr PVP Producer). So I do still play them. Some more than others
  17. No. It doesn't. You have players who will buy Ranos and Hexid right now. Shae Vizla too. You have paid for assets just sitting in limbo. It makes no business sense to keep them away from players who want them. Yes, I understand the players who earned those comps, especially Ranos, will be a bit ticked. They have every right to be. But, considering the budget for this game is bare bones, the cash infusion would probably be quite welcome. Your concern is a valid one. I'm not at all dismissing it. But the financial reality of this game leans toward releasing comps people will pay to acquire
  18. Historically, players have blown through content faster than it is produced. That's the nature of the beast. Knowing that, what you do with your time and your resources is up to you
  19. Not even remotely a "fair trade". In your half-baked scenario, how are we solo players supposed to acquire her? Either put her on the CM for the same 2100 CC's Treek was. Or, make her an Alliance mission. Either would be a much more "fair trade"
  20. Again though, the LS won only because many more people wanted the Chiss Jedi. If they do it again, and do it right this time, I see the DS winning as most of the SL's are just plain fun playing through as DS. All of the Pub classes are much more fun DS. LS Warrior is pointless and stupid--Darth Malgus is not amused. Roll a Jedi. A by the book Agent will naturally be DS. Fulfilling contracts to their letter means the BH will be DS. Outside of a comp people want, I don't see how the LS wins
  21. I respect that, but from a revenue perspective it makes much more sense to release them on the CM allowing those who missed them to obtain them if they wish. I'm glad we're getting Hexid from the DvL, who I wanted
  22. On both servers I play on, JC and SL, Empire fleet chat was full of people saying they were making all LS choices just to get Ranos. To say the LS "won" is true, but it won only because people wanted the Chiss Jedi
  23. They should make all the comps available at some point--Nico, Shae, Hexid, Ranos. They are unused assets. New threads are created regularly asking for Ranos to be made available. The LS won a year ago. Hexid was created but unused. Charles did say she would be coming--probably just like our original comps. Soon. Don't hold your breath. You have Nico and Shae also sitting there when all could be generating revenue for the game via the CM. Treek was on there for years before she was recently removed. To have comps people want sitting in limbo makes no sense to me
  24. This is ONLY because very few people wanted the Zabrak Sith. The sheeple wanted the Chiss Jedi
  25. Well, Possessed Hunter on DK comes to mind. That heroic should have been instanced from day one. But the PVP Producer doesn't care about that. Just like the PVP Producer doesn't care courting gifts are STILL broken after how many years? Just like the PVP Producer doesn't care some Grade 6 TH missions have the wrong rewards listed. Just like the PVP Producer doesn't care about all the other bugs which have never been fixed. All the PVP Producer does care about is doing his fellow pvp'ers a solid. To soothe the butthurt (for no more than a week) first major thing he does is, nerf. Typical pvp'er. For this level of apathetic oblivious incompetence, they could have left Ben Irving in place. Ben didn't care about any of those things either
