  1. Enalis is a player who is willing to do whatever it takes to help his GUILD (not just his team) work on PvE content. Definitely somebody that any guild would benefit from having as part of their roster from both a skill and personality perspective.
  2. Congrats to Aisthesis for an excellent performance without having to resort to BS tactics! Heard plenty of reports of exploitative behavior from multiple guilds, but Aisthesis has never been mentioned as one that partook. To anybody exploiting Conquests, GG on making something that is 100% CASUAL CONTENT into something elitist. It's literally spam crafting, complete WZs, and GF FP the way to victory. All that takes is lots of members with alts, credits, and time. It brings the guild together, but isn't exactly a meaningful e-peen measuring contest. If you're going to be that much of a try hard, put that effort into improving your own play so you don't have to resort to cheating to succeed.
  3. Faction: Empire Guild Name: Proper Villains Guild Leader: Srs'Bsns Officers: Manglazed & Yoloburn PvP: Competitive PvE: Progression GSF: None Role Play: None Website: propervillains.enjin.com
  4. New progress for the guild with a Council kill under our belts. We are now current on all PvE content in the game. There are some administrative changes that applicants should know when they apply. I am passing off GM to Srs'Bsns, a former officer, since I will be starting work in mid-September and can no longer dedicate the time needed to run this guild. I'm going to be sticking around until then to assist with the transition process. I will remove myself from the contact list once that process is complete, but until that time I will continue reviewing applications and interviewing potential raiders.
  5. Burning through 3.6mil health on a static target is hard m8! #DummyParsing4Lyfe We actually brought it down to two healers at one point, and those 2 healers were able to sustain the boss through the damage. To anybody who QQ'd and whined about the Commanders being defended, Trying to pull a boss that's nestled inside a zone that automatically flags you for PvP while avoiding said flag is beyond pathetic. Even on the Dev stream when they introduced the Commanders, they charged right in and got flagged while trying to kill the boss. That right there is the "right" way to do it. It's meant to be a large open world PvP fight that motivates people to rally around an objective to either attack/defend. If you're trying to abuse the way terrain/pathing is scripted in order to avoid a key mechanic, then, IMO, you're an EXPLOITER! It's just like exploiting NiM Nefra for implants by one or 2 manning it, which is also incredibly pathetic. It's amazing how whiny and entitled players are and how much they stamp their feet like spoiled children if people stop them from exploiting. The fact that some of the butthurt Republic players typed that we were being reported for griefing/exploiting as we were healing the NPC makes me lose respect with regards to attitude and skill level of those involved. Seriously, if you wanted to stop that from happening, flag up, wreck the defenders, and then slaughter the boss. Anybody that was upset was just pissy they couldn't have it their way. I am definitely one of the most try hard PvErs on the server, so this isn't coming from any PvP high horse.
  6. Fixed. Allies is it for public channels. There are invite only channels that only exist to stroke the e-peen of those that are in them, but that don't actually accomplish more than most Allies runs. Your best bet for Ops is to join a guild that raids consistently, or get your guild to join a raid alliance with other guilds.
  7. Thank you for the congrats. I wish Aisthesis the best of luck in their concurrent pursuits of both Brontes and Council! To the OP, as a clarification, the guild sniping really only impacts one guild and it's not without cause. No guilds randomly lash out without reason. All the other guilds get along well and will discuss strats/progress with each other at an officer level. I can't say that anybody in my guild has ever had their feelings hurt by anything that's gone on, but I guess some individuals perceive things differently. The drama is really quite minimal on a server scale, and the smack talk is pretty minor compared to what goes on on a pure PvE or PvP server. Those that are capable of clearing content will clear it, and those who are not simply will not, same as any other server. Difference is those who can't clear content on this server are quite vocal about telling those who can clear content what's theoretically best, even without the practical experience of a kill.
  8. Thanks Shulk! Yolo insists that his heals aren't as good as his DPS, but I think that's just because he doesn't want to heal
  9. My point stands, no final boss kills on tier, which is the genuine challenge of each instance. Partial clear guild =/= progression guild. You guys didn't get DGs until post 2nd nerf IIRC. I called out every guild, including PV, by saying that full clears/title runs of content after overgearing it or it being nerfed isn't impressive. TL;DR TEH didn't have any guilds fully clear NiM TFB or SnV on tier. Several groups of players came together and pulled off on tier full clears for NiM DF & DP, but as of now there are 2 guilds that are responsible for that, not 3. #Big2
  10. And PV killed Nightmare Council on 8m. 5 nights of pulls after swapping down to 8m from 16m.
  11. When considering progression guilds, IMO it's only logical to look at Nightmare Power kills to determine what the guild has accomplished. A large quantity of people unable to clear content is indicative of an open recruitment policy, not a mark of a "progression" guild. I could have accepted a bunch of players that were capable of 4/5'ing and made 2 or 3 more 8m teams that'd 4/5 both instances weekly in PV. That doesn't improve my guild's progression though, so I didn't do it. I am not counting old NiM because literally NO GUILDs on this server were able to clear the final bosses of SnV or TFB on tier. I'm sorry, using 180 gear to clear and title in NiM TFB/SnV is not impressive at all, and yes I don't consider PV's NiM SnV/TFB clears "impressive". Here are the NiM DF/DP clears: NiM Power DF: 5/5 8m Server Firsts, PV. Pre 2.8 Gate Crasher: UWA Server First & Only. 5/5 16m Server Firsts PV, had to skip C-0 b/c of Mine Derp in 16m under NiM Power, Brontes kill under NiM Power. NiM Power DP: 8m Bestia, Aisthesis. 8m Tyrans, Calphy, Raptus, and Council, UWA, Server First Deposer. 16m 4/5 Server Firsts for PV with an 8m Council clear. We are no longer pushing 16m Council because our healers are not able to heal through Phase 1 consistently. PV originally Gate Crashered a month ago, on July 17. We've Gate Crashered on 16m multiple times and had an 8m Gate Crasher alt run this week because we were bored. Didn't promote it on the forums because it's not really an achievement compared to Conqueror now that NiM Power is gone. If you want a Republic progression guild that fully clears content on tier, UWA is the clear and only choice. If you want a large guild that pulls NiM Content and progresses once the instance is no longer on tier, ie at a relaxed pace that gets all guild members involved, Aisthesis is a great fit, but you wouldn't need to transfer to TEH to find that. Reach out to Callette/Alliare for Plausible Deniability. Nemesis, Nebula, and PD are all more laid back Imperial guilds.
  12. Tell Kandel and Te'ras that I apologize for your lack of skill and all around casualness. Seriously though, props to Nemesis on the progression!
  13. PV used to maintain a stack of 100+ MMG and we have recently made a distinct effort to liquidate them since we have no use for them. We get 18+ a week and sell all of them on the GTN. With the advent of NiM DP, the supply of MMGs for NiM Raiding guilds doubled. I can't speak for others, but I wouldn't be surprised if other NiM guilds have been selling them off as they're gearing alts in 186s and don't need 180s.
  14. Holy moral high ground batman. OMG YOU'D FIRE YOUR EMPLOYEES OVER THIS WOW YOU'RE SO MATURE AND RESPECTABLE. I AM GOING TO CHANGE MY BEHAVIOR AND THAT OF MY GUILD RIGHT NOW . . . oh wait that's an utter lie. Thumbs down for bringing in what you'd do in your own business. Like that has any relevance to this situation? Guilds like Zorz and SG are judged based on their ability to clear content. They're both World First guilds. Some forum drama over an edited log isn't going to change that fact. All I care about for PV is being able to push Nightmare Power raids while recruiting top quality talent. We're not world ranked like Zorz or SG, but so far we've been able to accomplish our goals. As long as that continues, I see no reason to "tighten the leash" so to speak. @KBN, happy to let this drama die. Think everybody's point has been made.
