  1. Was in ranked or normal? Ranked, they can bring any comp they want, general, its the luck of the draw. I had a few games this weekend that had similar comps but they where just random luck.
  2. I'd go a head and buy the partisan gear but save your ranked comms. One would assume the cost for conquerer gear will be what partisan is now. This way you can just replace the partisan pieces you have now with conquerer gear and use all your saved ranked comms for the new tier.
  3. Speak for your self. I also run with with a tank companion, if I'm playing a dps. It makes for much faster dailies. Gear them in dps gear, throw them in tank stance, pole through enemies, when you speeder up, they get all their health back and go on to the next pack. Much faster running dps and tank then dps and heals. By the way, nice necro'ed thread.
  4. Keep in mind, if you are in all campaign or dread guard and augmented, you will be just fine. There was a lot of us who where doing the lvl 55 HMs with just our campaign / dread guard gear. And I don't think we wiped much at all either.
  5. I really didn't have that much trouble. And what's wrong with the tank comms gear? Its been a while since I looked at it but I don't recall anything specifically wrong with it.
  6. Sorry dude but I can't seem to wrap my head around how you are feeling like this. To many items and abilities? Its a mmorpg. What would you like? 3 armor sets all together and 5 abilities? Where is the depth in that? And credit sinks? This one baffles me every time someone brings it up. How are you poor in this game? There are credits everywhere! Its harder to play this game trying *NOT* to get credited than it is to get them. Dailies give thousands, more precisely, hundreds of thousands, and that's daily. The GTN is a cash cow. Every activity in this game rewards credits for participation in it. Why worry about credit sinks when there is tons of credits out there?
  7. I was able to gear a lvl 55 Vanguard tank in 55 HMs. It wasn't any diffrent theny dps or healer. My dps was easier and faster because I more actively do ops with him, but they all felt about the same.
  8. I agree. Now I feel like there is some value to my legacy level 50!!! I think this satisfies both sides.
  9. I believe you have to either get the ear piece as a drop or buy with comms. You then RE them.
  10. I've had that happen for my artificer and cyber tech, with mods and enhancements but never with armor shells or anything. Maybe I'm just unlucky with my synthweaver and armormech.
  11. Yeah its to late in the game now, but what I ment was, no more crated pieces that are non modable. Everything would be an empty shell and everyone would get a piece of the modding. Just remove all non modable items all together. Everyone crafts some sort of "mod" and people just use those to fill empty shells.
  12. You need to go back to the trainer and buy new recipes.
  13. Anyone ever noticed that when you RE items you get less mats back than what you could of bought off the GTN for the vendor price of the item?? Like, if I RE a medium Str chest piece with my Synthweaver (lvl 53 green) I get 1 maybe 2 carbonite crystals but if I vendored the item instead I can get 2-3k easy for it and buy 4-6 carbonite crystals off the GTN. If you are looking for mats, why would you RE when the value is vendoring and buying from the GTN? Is it possible we can double the mats returned from REing greens at least?
  14. I agree with the above posters. I have all the crafting professions and arch. gets the hose. In fact, with the recent Gree event, Bio and Scavaging can gather grade 9 mats in the the Gree zone. Arch can't. Wheres the love Bioware?
  15. In all reality, Bioware should never have even put in the non mod able gear pieces. Nobody wants that stuff. Everything should have been modable and synweaving should have gotten str and willpower armorings and armormech should have got cunning and aim armorings. They should have just distributed all modification pieces to all crafting professions. Let each one of them have a piece of the modification game. Right now some come out way ahead of others.
  16. The same thing is happening to me. All willpower gear lvl 49 and above is not RE able. I have the exact same thing as the guy above, only difference is I have 450 synthweaving. Any idea when this will be resolved?? Got tons that need to be RE'd.
  17. No problem dude. That's where I got mine. I have alts that need crafted gear as well.
  18. I think you are miss understanding me. I don't charge tip on a chance to crit, say I'm crafting a 31 hilt for someone, if they pay me 150k and SUPPLY the mats, then yeah, if it crits, I give it to them. They paid me for my service, SUPPLIED the mats, its theirs. And I am not doing business without the mats, I am providing a free service when ot doesn't crit and doing business when it does. So roughly 30% of the I'm doing business and the other ~70% I'm doing pro bono work lol. And end game mods and gear take what, between 40 min to an hour to craft? What a huge waste of time if I don't crit. I can make more credits running dailies, crafting and selling my own stuff.
  19. They are on the vendor that sells schemes for basic comms.
  20. I believe you can still do this. And Bioware basically said it wasn't intentional but that they where not really bothered by it either. I can't remember where the thread is, but I do believe this is how it went down. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
  21. 1.) agree 2.) If someone tips me for my service, I will. They paid for it. 3.) People aren't giving me their mats so that "I may crit" with them. They are giving me their mats so that I can craft THEM THEIR item. They could care less if I crit or not, they just want their item. I'm not outragged by it, I just don't buy into the line that it benefits me. I know trickery when I see it. Bottom line, they are giving you their mats because they either A.) can't make it themselves, or B.) don't want to buy it off the gtn cause they are cheap. If the finished product was selling for less than the mats, people would just buy the finished product. The whole, you can get the crit if it does indeed crit, is just an accuse people use to be cheap. Like I said, I don't do business this way and I'm stinking rich in this game. Yeah I put the time and effort into crafting to make credits. My approach might not be like yours but judging by the OP, I am not alone in my thinking that all this crafting for mats business is for the birds. Here's an example for you, a friend gives you 5.00 dollars and says, run to McDonalds for me and get me a Big Mac meal. I say, what's in it for me? They reply, well, if McDonalds is having a buy one get one deal going on now, you can keep the extra meal, if not, o well, thanks for getting that for me.
