  1. How many of those 100 members are alts?
  2. It's possible one of their players quit and replaced. Their names still remain on the scoreboard, but will show zeros across the board.
  3. If there were realm forums and he made a virtual name for himself there, it might have some meaning. But as it stands... not quite sure how it matters to anyone, truth be told.
  4. So now you're assuming conspiracy theories to protect your internet ego?
  5. But we're talking about tracer/grav spammers, not healer specs, right? Cuz if you interrupt a tracer/grav spammer's heal, they have one other heal on a CD. It's not spammable big heals.
  6. Also in lower bracket cases, when your target is getting hit by another target, and you tracer them x3 + railshot usually finishes them off. When that happens, you move to next target and tracer again for stacks. So all people tend to see are Tracer/Grav "spamming", and they assume that's all they do.
  7. A tracer/grav spamming BH/Trooper aren't spec'd with superior healing. You do realize they aren't 31/31/31 right? If you can't dps through their relatively small heals, while they're standing still, then I'm not sure what other game to suggest you play.
  8. I'm not surprised the topic has been brought up before, but I wasn't on here at the time while leveling the trooper. And I was mainly posting for the humor of letting someone die for gear Yep, I agree. I could care less if every single character in WoW plunged to their death as none of them were engaging. But I really really wanted to help Jaxo here, if it weren't for those damn Relics, lol.
  9. I have not once encountered a full team of Sorcs or BH's (not mixed) on the three PvP servers I've played, with high pop. And pvp warzones is just about all I do when I play different chars. You can argue it can vary dependent on the servers. But as far as I can tell between 3 high pop servers, that it is quite rare. I'm sure it has happened, but I've only seen one screenshot of it. If you're not exaggerating, then provide evidence that there have been plenty of warzones FULL of Sorcs or BH's. I'm sure there's gotta be many more screenshots if it happens so often. You just sound like an angry Operative.
  10. The same can be said for a whole team of Sorcs/Sages. So your definition of overpowered is based on a whole team of one specific class? A scenario that rarely happens? Because if that's the case, the same can very well be said about Sorcs/Sages.
  11. Spoilers for those not yet late in the storyline...
  12. Most Warriors/Maruaders I've spoken to say they don't really shine until the 40s? More abilities to look forward to. I've only played mine up to 20s, and it's definitely a lot harder to go against ranged in that level. But I'm just buying time until I get to where I need to be.
  13. While I'm not a fan of the guy, it's possible he was referring to this line in the quote, "Shut up there squishy as all hell and 100k healing is terrible."
  14. Even if that were true (and it's not always necessarily true), you want to nerf a class based one ONE SPECIFIC WARZONE? Are you hearing yourself?
  15. I'm guessing you're talking about Commandos/Mercs... Their heavy armor really isn't that big of a deal. It's the Reactive Shield that makes the huge difference. But once that's on CD, you can still cut through them, providing they don't have any other heals or defensive abilities already ticking or activated. And if they are spec'd for DPS, their heals are pretty pathetic. You can interrupt through them and keep the pressure on to finish them. Of course, if you're lower lvl than your targets, then you obviously lack more of the available abilities to counter them. And if they're heal spec, they're not going to kill you in 5-6 seconds. It's one or the other... there are no commandos that are 31/31/31 And if you're worried about two knockbacks, you need to save your leap (assuming you're playing a class with leap) for when the aoe Knockback happens, since that is the one that snare you. If they spec for the stockstrike knockback (they have to talent for this), that is the 2nd knockback but does not snare you. So if you have a snare on them while they knock you with their rifle, you can easily get back into position. If the issue is them knocking you off Huttball ramps, then you need to better position yourself when you fight against them.
  16. I concur on Vanilla wow's chained CC's. Those were quite horrid back in the day. It's a bit more relaxed now as more escape/defensive/offensive options are available and diminishing returns have been adjusted for different types of CC categories. I agree playing ranged is much more relaxed, as I've tried both. The advantage is staying in the back and usually not being noticed right away, whereas Melee are in your face and easier to target from afar. But personally, I'm not yet sold on some of the fix suggestions. That could be that my experience as ranged Vanguard, I haven't had a lot of options to get melee off me, and as an Assassin, I haven't had much issues keeping up with a ranged target. So it could be me.
  17. I think you should be directing this response to someone else. I did not question why you did not use LOS in your post. I was responding to the other guy in which he brought up a specific warzone for comparison.
  18. I did not notice you incorporating Melee snaring in your post. Surely that counts for something. And in terms of comparing to wow, I don't recall having diminishing returns on snares/roots either. Remember level 1 Frostbolt spams that kills warriors with little effort? The Warrior QQ posts were off the charts.
  19. If you're going to present a scenario where the enemy gets help and prevents you from melting faces, then it's only fair that you should add in someone on your team that could help stop the range unit hitting you or heal you as well. Presenting scenarios that are specific to pad your arguments are not very convincing. To always assume that you will be 1 vs many, with no one helping you in a similar fashion is a bit bias.
  20. So we should balance range soley based on a warzone?
  21. I get that feeling from most World PvP battles that offered a challenge. But the reward I get is the just the simple fact of victory. I don't need to be rewarded with stuff just to get some action going. That's what I consider a true pvper. Someone who does what he likes, for the sole purpose of the fight/challenge. Think street basketball. They don't play to win a trophy or to win money. They play for the love of the game, and for the rush of victory and reputation. Granted this pvp system could still use some work, but a reward or loss system isn't necessary for some of us to fight with all our might.
  22. He later said the "shadow" used force leap. So we're thinking he didn't know what he was talking about.
  23. This +1 If you can't even take a moment to figure out the class you're fighting, then there's no hope for you to even understand the class' abilities and how they work to be assuming a class may be OP for what they can do.
  24. You should realize that Shadows/Assassins pretty much has a perma snare.
  25. Ok, there's not a lot of point to reason with you when you are clearly demonstrating your lack of ability to take any type of responsibility. You're one of those types who, instead of listens to reason, you must always blame someone else for your own faults. I'll humor you one last time. The point is this, BW implemented a spawn door system so that people can't zerg at will when they die. You are aware of how the game works, so it's not like you don't know there's an indicator for the door. YOU (yourself) CHOSE to ignore that indicator. That IS your fault and no one elses. YOU also CHOSE to ignore the afk debuff timer. That IS your fault and no one elses. The thing that is questionable for BW to review is their AFK Debuff time and when it is applied. It shouldn't be applied so early to punish those who are slow loading. That is the only thing I agree with. Whether there is a debuff timer or not, those doors open and close for a strategic reason. You choose to do something else that caused you to miss those openings. The AFK debuff just happened to be a detrimental factor to you when you missed that opportunity. The End.
