  1. Are the DPS ranks as output by Parsely even representative of what raiders see in the game (not even going to touch PVP and parsing that is a whole different problem)? Tthere are a number of the "top" roles that have literally one parse loaded (if I am reading that correctly). It strikes me that without a decent number of players loading parses (or against bosses more interestingly to me - theoretical parsing on dummies is what it is), people could have done something cheesy or be the top or bottom 1% of their class and be the only parse up there. Does anyone know of a parser log set that has actual boss logs, or is nothing really available for that?
  2. Thanks, I see, so the presence boosts are the only ones that actually stack across all classes, the first set of companions unlocked is one and done for the +1% percent forever. Is it worth it to raise presence across each group if i have already completed the 8 classes? I duo a quite a bit and was hoping that might help with heroics, but not sure if the +10 per companion unlocked adds up to enough to be worth the trouble?
  3. If you have unlocked all companions as a Guardian and then came back to the game and boosted a Sentinel, would the Sentinel gain the unlocked character boosts (the 1% role boosts) or is that literally per character, regardless of whether they are unlocked?
  4. I was talking about how you get the other class buffs in your Legacy after you get through Chapter 2 with Scoundrel, Consular, Guardian, Trooper, etc... You get access to the other class buffs for completing their story lines, but I can't find them anywhere (or is it just activated on your class buff)?
  5. It has been years since I have played, and I have completed all of the class stories (unlocks in my Legacy) but I can no longer find the actual Legacy Class buff skills. I thought they were under the Legacy tab in the Skills menu. Is there something else I need to do in order to activate them or get them to my skill bars? I can see they are all unlocked, so I don't think it is because they were removed from the game. Thanks
  6. Oddly enough, follow worked in beta, they broke it trying to fix some possible exploit in Hutt Ball based off of the initial speed boost you used to get when you began following until you caught up. My wife and I play together and other than functioning PvP health bars, this is top on my list of things that should have already been fixed. I won't be subscribing come Jan 20 if those two issues aren't resolved, actual quality UI customization isn't scheduled or being rolled out, and if an actual development plan is not laid out (other than vague promises). Am I egotistical enough to think that I have a right to such things (or that my wife and I's subscriptions currently matters to them), certainly not, Bioware/EA are free to do what they like, its a free market. However, they don't have a right to my subscription either. I am not cutting them as much slack as I would a small developer, if you can't deliver on the largest (and one of the longer) development budget of all time (+ revenue from 2 million subscribers), it is questionable how likely things are to improve. So flame about the game has only been out for two weeks (yes, actual release was Dec 13), but reality is the MMO market is too crowded these days to expect to be able to phone it in and play catch up with older games (and there are tons of them coming down the pike). I have played MMOs since UO, so I am not some newb player, perhaps it is an unreasonable position, but I want to see a change in this game genre where companies exceed expectations if they don't fall flat on their faces at release...
  7. Bump for this, please, please fix the /follow command, I play with my wife and it is invaluable while running around and doing quests - there has been no AAA MMO that I am aware of which doesn't have a functioning follow command (at launch). Follow worked in beta, but they screwed it up trying to take away a theoretical advantage you could gain from using it Huttball (which is laughable if you consider the amount of strategy and cooperation used in your average PVP battleground)... Please get it working again.
