Oddly enough, follow worked in beta, they broke it trying to fix some possible exploit in Hutt Ball based off of the initial speed boost you used to get when you began following until you caught up. My wife and I play together and other than functioning PvP health bars, this is top on my list of things that should have already been fixed. I won't be subscribing come Jan 20 if those two issues aren't resolved, actual quality UI customization isn't scheduled or being rolled out, and if an actual development plan is not laid out (other than vague promises).
Am I egotistical enough to think that I have a right to such things (or that my wife and I's subscriptions currently matters to them), certainly not, Bioware/EA are free to do what they like, its a free market. However, they don't have a right to my subscription either.
I am not cutting them as much slack as I would a small developer, if you can't deliver on the largest (and one of the longer) development budget of all time (+ revenue from 2 million subscribers), it is questionable how likely things are to improve. So flame about the game has only been out for two weeks (yes, actual release was Dec 13), but reality is the MMO market is too crowded these days to expect to be able to phone it in and play catch up with older games (and there are tons of them coming down the pike). I have played MMOs since UO, so I am not some newb player, perhaps it is an unreasonable position, but I want to see a change in this game genre where companies exceed expectations if they don't fall flat on their faces at release...
