I believe they made the mount so expensive because it is a limited time only thing (aka, we will never see it again). Since they arent reusing the design, BW needs to adjust the price so they are still making the same amount of money on this tauntaun as they would on the aratech rose or czerka cr-17 speeders. It is still the biggest waste of money i have ever seen and dont approve of the price but I still bet that is their rational for the high price.

I could care less about the reasons behind this or that such things are common practice. I still feel cheated. Some companies have learned that you reward loyal customers, not the ones that flaked on you. Too bad EA/BW will never be one of them.

I played it and still dislike it. I dont like the combat and the controls. Also, point capture is the worst possible map type for this style of play. Luckily, i didnt expect much so i wasnt disappointing in it

you know, it is a much more convincing argument to say something like "arenas shouldn't be in the reg WZ que because they are much more dependent on some type of role matchmaking system that is currently disabled in the reg que." and then list some reasoning and scenarios. but hey, who listens to reason on the internet

I hate to say this but there are some really slow people on these forums (pvpers, pvpers, whatever) so I am betting they just had no clue what they were doing and "thought" they got to vote for a section 10x either that or they own multiple sub accounts which gives them the right to get an extra vote

I wouldnt say I flat out refuse to do them but unless one of my friends really needs me to, I avoid them as much as possible. Even taking out the problems of balance and exploits, I am just dont have fun in them. DPS/HPS races are just boring and so far, the only strategies seem to be the mind numbing stun and burn. Maybe one day arena strategy will become more complex and maybe balance will eventually be in a place where we arent seeing the same 2 team compositions for 80% of ranked team arena matches. Till then though, I plan on avoiding them whenever possible.

I could care less. pvp is so buggy and there is no semblance of balance. what is the point of leaderboards with all that nonsense.

They still havent fixed my biggest problem with the game (smash being the best AoE spec and one of the best Single target specs). Sure, the change to undying is needed and great but still doesnt address my concerns. and to those who want a Scoundrel/Operative healing nerf before a change to insane smash make me laugh. lastly, Vengeance/Vigilance didnt really need a root added. Sure, the skill cap is high but for those who know how to play the spec, this change was unnecessary and is really going to make them feel like super jedi or something. cant wait for people to start threads saying "NERF VIG"

If you want a good story, my favorites are agent, warrior, knight, smuggler. so, if you want to tank, pick the knight or warrior story and if you want to heal, pick the smug or agent stories. (and then decide between imp and pub of course lol). all are also great for DPS if you decide to go that route. i personally hated the Consular story but that was just because i didnt like the diplomacy parts of it lol.

Well that was a good laugh. It is great that you think 10k+ AoE smash is equivalent to the stuff GSs can put out. It is especially hilarious seeing GS DF spec going as high as sent focus spec. DoTs=Smash all day long lol.
