  1. 1. Very little, unfortunately. Most of the objectives are "do old stuff you've already done for years" and very little is "do new content made for this expansion". I can say Been There, Done That to most of the things we've done across the seasons and there's not much fun in repeating it ad nauseam. 2. Generally I do not like the companions. As others have mentioned, all their noises are annoying. They may be speaking something they can understand, but I do not. Improvement: Make them speak something I understand. And less often! Favourite companion so far is Altuur for the simple reason that he parses as the best allround companion. Not because I actually like him. 3. The Cartel Coins were nice, allowing me to skip levels and get the season done and over with faster. The reduced unlock prices for stuff was nice. But the actual rewards? No. I haven't used any of the armor or weapons, because they simply have not appealed to me visually. And the mounts.... Well, I already have the ones I want to use on my characters. 4. No. See #1. More NEW content to do as part of the season, less old stuff. 5. I have completed the first two. If I want to finish them fast, it takes more effort than I feel like putting in, considering that it is old content over and over again. If I want to just finish before the season ends, it's easy enough. And it should be easy. It should not be a challenge. 6. It does not fit in at all. I go out of my way to complete tasks to get them done for the day/week, but mostly I don't actually want to do whatever content I need to do to get it done. 7. Yes. Focus on getting new content out the door. Galactic Seasons can wait and incorporate the new content. Or just not run again, ever. Either solution is acceptable.
  2. This should have been posted at the same time as the other things. Obviously this wasn't a spur-of-the-moment decision, so something like that must have been planned in advance. It should be written in advance and posted at the same time.
  3. Indeed it is. Maybe in the future don't take statements like mine as a "challenge" and keep your thinly veiled insults to yourself 😉
  4. Yes, really. This is still not a confirmation that GS3 will be active on day 1, only that it is included in the patch. Read the wording of the question and the answer. "Will this still include?" "Yes, it will" Not "Will it start tuesday?" followed by "Yes, it will". Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it won't happen. Only that it doesn't mean it will.
  5. Not the way I read it. Just because something is coming in a patch, doesn't mean it's active from day 1. It could easily be actived at some point during the lifespan of 7.1.1, so don't get your hopes up too high. Besides, the post states we'll get more info about S3 and that has yet to happen, so it could be next week or the week after or the week before christmas...
  6. Targets for what content? What are you measuring it up against?
  7. That is, unfortunately, all BW is capable of these days
  8. You don't pay much attention, do you? This is what I "downloaded" after having the launcher update today: https://i.imgur.com/VU04kyl.jpg Two short bursts of hardly any data, that was it. So what are you actually complaining about? Or are you the one kidding yourself?
  9. I'm gonna have to join the others above and say "not gonna happen" for me. Dev tracker is what's important to me at the moment. Without any content worth playing (or discussing), there's very little reason to wander off into multiple threads for me and "hit that subscribe button". Content that is worth playing and discussing, beyond what new bugs got introduced to make this thing unplayable or that thing annoying to do, needs to happen or all of these new launcher and forum upgrades will be pretty much a waste of time. Eric posted, nearly 2 weeks ago, a desire to communicate better with us players. That has happened, in regards to the new forums and the new launcher. But still nothing regarding...... the game. Nothing regarding the "vision" for the future, the "vision" that none of us still have any clue what is, since nobody from the team has bothered to explain the "vision", since it was first mentioned last year during the much hyped livestreams introducing us to the much hyped 10th anniversary and 7.0, both of which has so far been a real letdown. Not a word on what's going on, who is or is not doing what and why or why not. As Eric wrote it Still waiting on that. And that's why the only thing I follow is the Dev Tracker.
  10. I'm sorry, but I really don't understand this bit. Better about communicating? What's holding you back? The art of communicating is as simple as..... saying what you think. If you want to tell us your thoughts on a topic, tell us your thoughts. If you want to know what we think about something, ask what we think about something. If you want there to be actual communication between devs and players, with the intention of making things better, communicate with, not just to, your players. And even though I have a job, if you need someone to help you communicate, I am more than willing to help you in that regard.
  11. Content, wether you like it or not, is classified as "things in the game". A new weapon, even a single one, is "new content" by definition. Hell, even if they made a new tree model and planted it somewhere anyone rarely goes, it would still be "new content added to the game". You may not like it, you may not want to call it content, but it is. Don't get me wrong,I don't think GS3 is what most of us want to see, considering what they told us last year would happen this year and what we've gotten so far. But it is content. Just not the content you, or I, want.
  12. Cutscenes are awesome, the first few times. But when all we have to do is run the same old, years old, content over and over and over and over and over again, they get old extremely fast. So I'm in favor of having all of them removed from group finder content. If the cutscene doesn't have a gameplay purpose, cut it. But Eric, I'm surprised that this isn't something you've already done internally. This isn't a new issue with LotS. It's been an issue for years. So why haven't you figured this out internally? It should be somewhat easy to split the devteam in groups of 4, go through all the FPs, note down your issues along the way and then deal with them. Seriously. It takes less than a day. And we're now 8 months into an expansion with very little new content. What are you doing with all your dev time?
  13. Aaaaaaand this little wall of text are the currently tracked Known Issues: Yeah.......
  14. Did the community at that time tell them to only make the list and not fix the things on the list?
  15. Remember to update the patchnotes page with the actual patchnotes. I mean, there's a whole lot more to fix than the few ridiculous items scheduled for today....! In case anyone was wondering, these are the patch notes: Aaaaaaand this little wall of text are the currently tracked Known Issues: Yeah.......
