Game is almost 7 months old. There has been little updates, wacky changes, tons of nerfs and lack of changes from BW Remember in 12/11 when Bioware laughed flat out at free to play?? http://massively.joystiq.com/category/star-wars-the-old-republic Read all the spin they are putting out now.. Doom and Gloom with this game is warranted... 100% this game is failing.

I will not. Gave it enough time. Sorry but 6 months for a mmo get 'legs" is more then enough time for a paying customer. While it is not a huge thing, my two subs (myself and daughter) are leaving. I already cancelled mine and my daughters is up in a few weeks. 6 months is too long and this mmo never got it's legs We just spent the weekend doing guildwars 2 beta. One price no monthy sub and the game is lightyears (no pun) ahead of this one. From the world vs world vs world, to the public quests (which Bioware should have learned that Mythic did well since they are all one company now) to the lack of holy trinity of classes, GW2 blows this game out of the water .. All without a monthly sub.

ehh what is so good about these? PT have baseline grapple and better dps.. Do the same thing and can kill the pull without having to dump them into fire. Personally force push is a ton better for pvp then pull.

It is only terrible if you keep the current AI of the mobs/bosses of today's games. Don't be afraid of change, friend. I started mmo;s back in eq1 so very familiar with the holy trinity. I am almost always a tank and understand how it all works. That said, after a few weekends of GW2 beta's I am very much enjoying the lack of the holy trinity. The days of playing wack a mole of hp bars and running threat meters is coming to an end. Few years ago folks claimed the FTP model for MMO's was crazy and never work. Yet it is running just fine and vast majority have it or parts of it. (even this game)' Same thing. Holy trinity is dying approach to how you build mmo's.

Juggy easier to get medals with your single and aoe taunt (plus helps the team more). Force push is huge along with the free leap follow up after it. I mean they are both really solid (I have them both) but I like my juggy more..

Healer that can stealth and still do solid dps

15 min debuff so you can't queue again till over. Warhammer online does it and works. oh the 15mins is game time. so if you logout and come back, unless you spend 15 mins IN game, you still got the debuff. Works great

10pm est There is only two servers heavy.. that is fatman and jedi covenant. Rest are standard or light.. I picked 10 different servers in that range.. Rolled 5 imps and 5 republic The MOST had 5 people on the starting zone. Twice I was the only person in the zone.. Logged into Jedi Covenant and there was 45 in hutta... If Bioware is this naive and this slow we are doomed..

Level 36 and full veng here.. Very solid in PvE. I run with vette and let her attack the hardest mob. Normal rotation is Force leap in Smash Hilt smash one mob (this will kill normal mob by now) Impale Scream Ravage (repeat if I get the proc that resets it) Drop in the rage builder attack as needed but rage is normally not an issue with Veng builds. I am spec'ed so both Impale and Scream put the dot on the mob. Take 3-4 equal con mobs without any issues. End with about 60% health . Vs elites, I might throw in the force choke and//or push and leap again if fighting a gold. I don't bother using Quinn. Running with the healer just slows things down for me.

Just so tired of being pulled into matches that are 5-0, or only 500-40. Not worth my time or effort

Depends on your gear and level to a point. I am full veng in my mid level 30's. I enter flashpoints as DPS and PvP as dps. That said there are times I slap on my tank stance and use guard and don't have a problem. PvP it is just to soak up damage and keep the healer alive. PvE I have done it if we lost the tank, or needed to off tank something. I make my own armor so always have at least blue if not purple armor so that helps a ton. But we can stance dance as needed and get the big bonus to armor. Not as good of course as a tank spec juggy, but still works I have also run all the FP at least once as Veng spec, but in tank stance as the main tank. So far up to Caldsomething or other, I have been fine as main tank. Sure that will change but for now, fine.

There are times (read that, slowly, times) where I find it good to mark my own players in PvP. Mostly when I want to track a healer to swap guard to when he is being hit, or a dps'er. Maybe I want to track our sniper in the weeds so I know where to go to lend a hand if he gets into trouble. I don't use up the marks (not that I have ever seen all of them used vs enemy players). So folks whine. Oh well. The other team can NOT see the marks. They are not highlighting you to the other team. This helps us win. So guy was going to report me for it?!? Please. After a few games , other folks were using this system and it helped us.

Same thing.. There is no reason to not have the server x-fers in place already. Bioware is naive if they don't think GW2 will be killing them.. Even now in GW2 you can group with people on other servers (outside the pvp which is 1v1v1). I did cancel my sub and sorry that I gave BW 5 months of my money x2 since my daughter also played. They did nothing to address the ongoing issues

you could just had a companion doing nothing but slicing missions for you the whole time you pvp. That is what I do. The lockboxs breakeven or make some credits. Sell all the missions for huge money. I have a pure pvp toon outside of class quest only.. Been doing this and at 48 I have about 500k credits and all my gear and pet gear set.

Pyro PT has more synergy with the middle spec (ie your rail shot will ignore more armor and hit a ton harder). Pyro PT is lightyears better then the merc pyro..

PT/Vanguard #1 without a doubt.. Sniper/Gunerslinger after that Last is the maruders/sents They are dime a dozen and fotm

It was op'ed,. No way around it. Just remove the knockdown and make is say a snare and I would be happy.
