Well, you could level a smuggler up to roughly 50 and you can get a 4 second stun every 20mins or less.

Am I the only one that actually like the smuggler gear and the rest of the rep outfits? Too much hate going on on the class forums atm. Now I am fearful that they might pull back the designs...

I was trying to kill one in Ilum yesterday, but I couldn't... He must have been hybrid spec in healing and the dot tree, which made him invincible to me ffs. I would get him to about 30% health and then he would bubble and heal himself up, I would interrupt that, more heals. By that stage, I had no energy left from all the wounding shots and the intial vital shot n' shrap bomb. Then he used his dots on me, so I interrupted crushing darkness, backblast, blah blah, another crushing darkness, get him to 30%, bubble, whirlwind, heal up himself. Dots would get my health low, I vanish, he forcespeeds and does his knockback ---> dead me. But tbh scoundrel isn't the best for 1v1 between a sorc, sentinel is. And I suspect there was a nerf to df dots in 1.1.5. I swear my vital shot used to do over 2000 internal damage before that patch. Any advice from my fellow scoundrels will be welcome.

I like the new armour sets and tbh even the agents armour doesn't look as sleek as ours. Tho I ain't really one to talk since I like the cape and hats of tier 1. Someone mentioned earlier that from 1.2 you can switch the mods out of the tier 2 gear to put in orange gear anyways, so you can look however you want to then. If bw did pull back the designs for the 1.2 armour then I would be a very unhappy smuggler.

Well.. I've been playing DF for a while now, even before getting to 50 and I have never used tendon blast because we need all the energy that we can get plus we already have a 30% slow for shrap. And the fact you don't use shoot first and backblast frequently is . For me I need those abiltities cuz they added a significant amount of burst to my rotation. Speaking of which mine goes like: Shoot first Shrap bomb (with 30% slow for the duration) Vital shot Hemo blast Blaster Whip Wounding Shots Pugnacity (auto 8 energy back or something with a talent ??) Dirty Kick Backblast Blasterwhip More wounding shots I use normal pistol pew pew to keep my energy up and flash grenade as an interrupt. And I don't claim to be an expert pvper but that rotation is what works for me. p.s. can't wait to get my 70% slow and 1500 damage cybertech reusable grenade

By George, I think we've got it! (well... you peeps have anyways) I totally agree with that and it would make such a difference in how enjoyable Dirty Fighting is in PVE and PVP.

I fully agree with what you said there, but not with this... I would love to see the requirement for a upperhand to do wounding shots gone. Let us have the 9 second cooldown and the channel, just like GS wounding shots. Why does it have to be different? Plus I don't like leaving things to chance And tbh I could just spam Quick shot to kill something than put 2 of our dots on to them, then blasterwhip and then wounding shots. Right now for me, it adds up Wounding shots doing 800 damage, but Quick shot does 500 without the need for UH or putting on the dots. In comparison, Wounding shots is wick and our other abilities is much more better at doing damage. Gear wise, a nice set bonus for the whole kit would be 'Reduces the duration of all bleed effects (or just vital shot)' which should result in a the same amount of damage dealt in a shorter amount of time. So we are basically, being forced up the scrapper tree because dirty fighting isn't as good as it. Thankfully they have nerfed the scrappers out there, but I still believe this spec can be so much more fun if it actually does what it is supposed to; DoTs with a little bit of burst.

That has inspired me to dps as a scoundrel now, so I can kick some butt in pvp! Make more swtor videos.. please
