Super commando, its the only one with tanking stats!

I'm a vanguard with 24k health, I did not gimp myself in other defensive stats to achieve this, and I have cleared all content and I am able to hold aggro. I am a meat shield. I find that with extra health and tanking stats instead of trying to sub in dps gear because I can "survive" an encounter is pointless for me. The longer I can last w/o a heal, the better my healers can keep the raid up, reducing the chance a dps will die which allows them to do their job which is dps, opposite of my job which is tanking. I also have ****** healers which are capable of doing DPS while healing because I can survive w/o constantly being chain healed. IMO spending less time focusing on me, allowing all my DPS to fullfill their job, and allowing my healer to even throw in some DPS is a better option than me putting out a few more thousand damage each fight. Even in full DPS gear as a tank spec I don't put out anywhere near the DPS of a DPS class so why try?

Maybe make it so they can't camp our spawn? I don't see how this was such a difficult concept to come up with.

I have tanked full clear on EV Hardmode and my stats are 51.95% DR, 14.38% Defense, 35% Shield, 38% Absorption 19888 health with full champion PVP gear and 3 rakata pieces, 1 columi, I also use the epic reusable bio stim. Not sure how just full pvp gear has better stats than me but yeah you should be able to start running HM's with around 17k health, 45% DR 10% Defense and 35/35 on shield and absorb.

Again since apparently we are supposed to read your post you should read mine, I never said they were missing I said they where LACKING aka unpolished, often times broken. Yes I understand it's an mmo release but also like its been said 100x times before its 2012 and many of these things are not working as they should. There not forcing you to do dailies, whats with this feed me im a baby community now a days? The dailies are an effective way to obtain extra gold. Why not add an I win button you press once a week that gives you a piece of gear than you wont have to do anything!

Yes its good if your a tank get it and use it often, if your not a tank stop trying to hybrid spec you have bigger problems than the specific amount of damage reduced from smoke grenade.

Well i picked some slicing nodes up their yesterday while doing my dailies to each his own I guess, but keep telling people their gone I wont argue.

PVP xp is more than sufficient I did a large portion of my leveling in pvp. It's on par with casual questing you can't make it equal to stacked group quest grinding that's just stupid, unless you want this game to end up being 2vs2 with each team having mid level characters afk in the corner because the xp is boosted so high its stupid. Edit: For an example remember vanilla wow 51-60 AV Bracket, but with teams of 10 instead of 40 for swtor. . .

Our group got him with mostly green and blue 48-50 mods. Between our 4 people we maybe had 4-5 purple pieces of gear one of our dps didn't even know the barrel was the mod that decided his damage. . . You need an interrupt cycle for his snipe, should not get that off once, when he starts to use his missile attack have everyone separate and run clockwise around the room to avoid damage, after the missiles he will charge someone and the tank should storm at him, rinse and repeat.

I never said buying items I said trading that constitutes SELLING, and before you start running your mouth about a game mechanic maybe you should achieve it first, stop sitting on a forum complaining go level to 25 and I think you may be surprised how many credits you earn in those 3 levels. Just because you are not spending credits uselessly does not mean you are attempting to earn them either.

No, learn to save money a mount is not a necessity, I think they should raise the mount cost especially on the level 40 and most definitely on the level 50, the level 50 training should have cost me over 1 million for how easy credits are to obtain if you utilize all the functions of the game including gassspppp!! TRADINGINGGGG!

How did you find that out?

300 Credits really is not that many though, slicing at max level with 4 companions out for me atm is bringing in maybe 10k credits an hour. I don't think a lot of people even know what the true value of a credit even is atm. I'm sure in about 2 more weeks you will have tons of people that are not slicers with over 10million credits.

At 400 slicing let me enlighten you alittle. I only get 5k yield on a rich mission, which if I get lucky I can only send 2 companions on a level 5 rich mission at a time, usually one. Cost 2k to send. So that's 3k yield. At most you can make maybe 10-12k credits an hour. Not including failures and other factors. I might have even shot high on that number. Now lets take into conclusion it takes 1 hour to make 10k credits slicing, why not assume that's just like a minimum wage, if it takes 1 hour to collect 50x level 6 compound metals in that same time frame could we not assume those will sell on the AH for at least 10k making scavenging equally as profitable as slicing.

I play a 43 Vanguard, get a tank and have him guard you play with a well rounded team and than come back and tell me what an mmo with teamwork is like.

It takes like 5 seconds, Me: Guys this is the kill order Fire>CH>Lightning. CC blueShield and Purple Cog if you can. Team: Okay and than I mark, if your slow at marking that's your own problem I can get 4 marks up in the time I takes to get health and ammo back.

As a tank myself, I mark everypull and let the group know before hand on which ones are CC and what the kill order of the marks are. I always use fire>crosshairs>lightning for kill order and blueshield>Purple Cog for CC and following that order for their kill order.

I don't think he complained about a wait, he was pretty blatant about being okay with waiting 6 more months. His point is why pre-order to get an obvious late access, which he is right if you stop looking at it in tunnel vision. Oh and to the guy that said you pre-ordered to make sure you got the game, get with the times buddy you can buy digital versions these days. Just pointing out the obvious to show their are narrow minded on both sides of the fence, either way I pre-ordered still plan on waiting its not a big deal to me if the game will actually install by the time I get access.
