  1. As a consequence of these DCDs, merc healers are very good in PvP now, maybe can't match the healing output of other healers, but with guard taking them down is considerable challenge.
  2. I had my old 208 pvp set and 216+ pve set and tried to see whatever combination is better. Very confusing, replacing them under bolster did not result in straight upgrade with no loss anywhere with one exception - weapons. Seems upgrading hilt/barrel from 208 is safe bet right now. Per OP 208->230 this results in +463 for tech power, i'd say 208->220 is something like ~300 so its very worth it if you have old ones lying around.

I just resubbed for KOTET and played some lvl 70 warzones as fury mara and it feels fun and fluid as before, topping damage is not a problem, as long as there are no dot specs - though for some strange reason anni maras I met did not do significantly more, maybe because of different talents (I am using http://dulfy.net/2014/10/13/swtor-disciplines-calculator-swtor_miner/?link=dGEBAABGAwECGgEFCAoNEBYX). I feel like with this my mobility is ridiculous, double jump is not really necessary - I usually close gap with predation than jump. Pressuring healers and killing them seems manageable, as long as they aren't pvp guild premade combo. For doing damage all you need is uptime and burst and I think its not a problem for us right now.
  4. Btw most of what you remember about ranked warzones is nostalgia. Sure there were awesome moments when your team beat other team and the server drama was fun, but it was rather stalemateish - void star with nobody getting a door, civil war with nobody getting a mid, noware mid capfests... Normal warzones are more interesting because of bad people and bad compositions stuff happens, unless its two healers + tank with guardswaps which is a taste of what would happen in rwzs.
  5. Removing ranked wzs after pvp guilds transfered servers to play them sure as hell did not motivate them to continue playing.
  6. Cannot be the same game/companyt when most of original developers quit. EA will probably stop using the brand when they run its reputation to the ground.
  7. I think rocket out needs to work always, even when CCed. Because at the moment I find myself using this ability to advance offensivelly, sometimes with 180 turn beforehand, which is silly.
  8. Sorc heal itself not a problem, its the turtle meta. On TRE there are a ton of cancer premades with tank+heal+stealthers that do not kill anything, but delay indefinitelly, and sometimes their run operative healer with same result. Its so unbelievably boring, that even if you win you do not feel any enjoyment. In fact I canceled sub again until this improves.
  9. Killing healers etc its not a problem. Its boredom of facing the same all the time and all the high TTK games where doing objectives is night impossible. And when its boring there is better solution than wasting time with this PvP - playing other games instead.

  11. 8v8 was very much alive on TOFN after all guilds transfered to do it. Then Bioware killed it. Tbh its just another example of what happens when developer is out of touch with the playerbase and making arbitrary decisions on metrics and god knows what feedback. Ranked is not even the PvP mode with lowest participation, its GSF - nobody asked for it and its dead as everybody plays this game has expected it to be.
  12. I can do over 4k on my sorc in midbies in free 60 gear, anybody that mains this class and is good can do 6k+ at 65 no problem. For me its only enjoyable to play when you are solo healer and enemy team is trying to kill you - mostly in vain, sadly you rarely end up healing alone and it becomes really boring and easy then.
  13. With 90 CC transfers going on for so long this is pointless - everybody already transfered where they want to be. Mega server/cross server at thsi point cannot even make ranked population 2x as there aren't enough people interested in that left.
  14. Because PvE pugs are ignorant and stupid. PvP gear always had almost identical stat budget at same ilvl as PvE gear since launch and only was bad in 3.x for PvE because of way lower ilvl. A lot of people do not know that commendation gear is awful except for tanks either. For this reason if you want to always have best gear per ilvl and want to get geared from 208 you must ignore crystal vendors, get pvp gear, then upgrade to 216 and 220/224, and considering how faceroll EV/KP/beginning of some other HMs are you can skip storymode gearing altogether. Don't forget, 208 gear parses around 5k+ dps which is overkill for storymodes enough that you can underman everything there with it. And PvE geared people do deserve negative comments in warzones as expertise is mandatory here.

  18. Agree. Its FOTM effect. When I play a healer sorc and I am the lone healer on the team or there is another tank/healer and its fine. Any more and it becomes pointless snoozefest and nobody dies. But these days tanks and healers become abundand. Irregardless of balance as long as ability to stack healers/tanks remains it will lead to boring games and as Bio is unwilling to address that the only left option is to force less people to play healers by making them harder to play or reduce healing output.
  19. Ignore them if you seen the story, they are waste of time. All SMs are bolstered regardless if they are on groupfinder or not. There is no reason to prefer doing groupfinder operation over others since crystal gear is inferior to MK-1 token gear and groupfinder group is buggy when comes to finding replacements so if somebody drops its most likely to fall apart. You have not listed your role or class. Find a guide for your class on dulfy. net (if there is not one for 4.0 older one might do fine) but its hard to get into for a complete beginner since there is a lot to learn. If you are DPS perhaps you can find usefull, I saw similar videos for healing or tanking, maybe someone else can post the links.
  20. And you should not, why do something frustrating and pointless when you could be doing something else. There is no reason to do the FPs at all if you have seen the story.

  22. There are accuracy enchancements. Yes, this means you will need to have separate set for raiding, but this is necessary since pvp and pve also use different augments. In other words, if you want 204-208 item rating gear, you can use pvp one as its identical to pve, except pve vendors don't have low endurance mods and some items. Its not necessary for story modes at all, but if you want use it you can, or can skip storymodes and do easier hardmodes straight away.
  23. Not sure if anybody else encountered this. When I go from Carnage back to Fury/Annihilation my ataru stance is removed from quickbar, but juyo form is added to other spot and the spot where ataru form was seems blank but you cannot put any ability there. Reloading UI does not fix this, but I think relogging/changing instance does.
  24. PvP gear is best starter gear now, if you do both PvP and PvE, set bonus, all mod and enhancement varieties available, mainhand and relics directly purchaseable.
