  1. It'll be a pretty cool title to have in around a few years provided founders are still around by then. Unobtainable titles and all that.
  2. If you aren't enjoying your class story and the whole leveling experience I suggest you unsub already.
  3. Marauders need more gap closers. That's all.
  4. If you just do pve content, sure. But for pvp players...the casual pvp on only 3 warzones got old rather quickly.
  5. The game that is already out or the one still without a release date? Hmmm...tough choice. GW2 will obviously be the better pvp choice WHEN it comes out, of course. Keep in mind that you'll spend a good time leveling in GW2 since it'll have 80 equally spaced levels, unlike GW where leveling was rather quick.
  6. I think the difference is that those developers already released a pvp-centric game that is designed in a completely different manner from that game everyone decided to clone. GW was brilliant for its time, it's amazing how a game where everyone is limited to 8 abilities at a time has a lot more decision making and depth on pvp than what we get with all this bloat and 24 different keybinds. That said, last expansion was released in, idk, 2007 so it isn't worth checking anymore unless you have some spare money. People nowadays just farm titles in anticipation for the sequel.
  7. Probably the fact that they don't have anymore mitigation talents than anybody else. Also as far as I know, bubbles aren't just self-cast.
  8. Lies!! You cannot have pvp with more than two factions!! Anet should host game design workshop for mmo devs, GW had brilliant class and pvp design, they are taking some stupid decisions on GW2 but it still looks miles ahead of what we have here.
  9. He's okay and has a good voice actor but the way we acquire him is completely retarded. It's when you realize any choice you make in conversations is completely meaningless.
  10. I honestly don't know by memory, but there's some spawns on top of those ledges you see near the walls. I think you can find the exact coords if you google for mercenary commendations.
  11. Yeah, it's not related to the engine but it's pretty awful to see the characters sliding around when you use some of the abilities, is it that hard to have something as simple as separate animation sets for the torso and legs like a certain 8 years old MMO has? I guess we have to give them a break since it took Bethesda over a decade to finally implement animations for walking diagonally on their games. I'm not even going to comment on how easy it is to get stuck on terrain in this game...
  12. But hero engine has cloth physics man.
  13. Maybe it's fixable but what cannot be fixed is the idiocy of spending hundreds of millions of dollars in a project and not developing your own in-house engine in the proccess. Or they could've at least licensed an engine that had been used for something other than demo projects. Pretty funny if you remember they justified the dated graphics because it allowed the game to be well optimized to run on old machines.
