I recently returned from a 7 year hiatus. The character select music is absolutely terrible. That blast of screaming voices at the beginning of the music is almost enough to just make me logout. In fact I canceled my sub today. And the login picture? It is not even 'Star Wars' art. I'm guessing it was drawn by some 15 year old kid of one of the developers. Prove Me Wrong.

So, all my republic characters are female and I'd like to know when I can marry Kira. I don't want to level her affection too much and lose the opportunity. Although I wouldn't be surprised if we were forced to roll new characters because it won't work retroactively, or something. Thanks.

190ish hours on my operative, space-barred maybe 5% of dialogue.

here's what you do: turn the music slider to 100 turn all the rest to 35 or lower (sfx to like 6 or 7 is plenty, guns/sabers are a tad too loud) turn the main slider and your computer volume a lot higher. you'll start to hear more music. for some reason, the music is very quiet so it seems non-existent.

NOTHING on the radio is 'awesome' these days, unless you listen to classic rock...

a very small percentage of people are having trouble with the game.

i dont think anyone will have 8 level 50s by march, which is when the updated legacy stuff comes out (patch 1.2).

all you gotta do is stop paying and maybe come back in 6 months. it's not really a big deal and the game will still be here.

the 11GB download is a known issue. try 'X-ing' out of the downloader and restart the launcher. dont hit cancel. use the X. or maybe you ctrl alt del and end the process. don't remember, check CS forum, there's a procedure.

I think it's funny because your opinion has no legitimacy if you lump warhammer with rift, in terms of success. warhammer was a complete failure. rift is doing fine.

maybe i was suffering from darkside/empire overload plus the combat style of the sentinel is pretty fun to watch, and females in this game look goood from behind... (all my republics are female)

i have an operative at 50, an assassin at 25, and a sentinel at 21. the agent story is legendary and the sentinel is also pretty damn good so far. the assassin was kinda boring, which is why i started the jedi... which i thought i'd never like...

this is what i'm doing, also alternating between factions so that my short memory will completely forget the zones by the time i get to them again.

Phenom II X4 945 - overclocked to 3.375ghz Radeon HD 6850 - overclocked to 875/1150 display is 1920x1200 ZERO FPS issues. All settings in UI graphics settings are HIGH except shadows, which is off. Ingame AA is off because it is only 2x and SUCKS, so I have it at 8x in CCC. I average about 70-110 FPS in the world (depending on size of 'room'; and 35-40 in fleet that sometimes drops to 25-30ish when tons of people are around. I also have several tweaks to my client_settings.ini file which makes things look 100x better. LOD and lighting tweaks etc...

will this game survive more than 1 year?... NOT IF THE MAYANS HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY ABOUT IT! :D:D

Why is it ALWAYS drawn? Is this normal or is my Kira bugged? Once in a while when I am archeologing, she'll put it away; other than that it is always out.

I just wanted to say: Just because a server doesn't say 'full', doesn't mean there aren't tons of people playing on it. I know, as americans, we tend to get obsessed with big, BIGGER, BIGGEST, but I assure you, a 'standard' population is perfectly fine. The server I play on, used to have queues. it is now 'standard'. Yet, there's still tons of people on all planets. What many of you can't seem to comprehend is, Bioware is able to change the server caps. I will explain this to the less fortunate people with small heads. say you have 2800 people on a server and the cap is 2800. this server would show as 'full'. now take that SAME server and raise the cap to 4000. now you have a server that is 'only' 2/3 full, which would probably show as 'heavy' or 'standard'. do you get it now? also, don't forget to report this post for all the poor unfortunate people i offended.

are you kidding me? if any news source is balanced, it's NPR. the only thing that comes close is PBS.

agreed. when you give the 'bad guys' pretty races, they will always outnumber the good guys. especially when the good guys are so boringly good.
