Evolving the meta on my server.
Most classes with a pull with stand next to the last firepit while a ball carrier is running toward the endzone in the redzone. As an assassin ball carrier waddling toward the endzone in the redzone, I've been pulling the defensive pullers before they could pull me so that I don't get pulled into the fire, however, I only do this if sprint/force shroud is on cd and if a receiver is covered.
Probably not the hardest class to learn, but assassin/shadows dominate warzones if played correctly. You have 3 different specs all played very differently
There's a thread on how to spend 8 hours to beef up NON PVP gear that's a bit better than cent gear, and that's your "starting pvp set," get it, compete, pay your dues.
The same gear disparity exists exists in WoW.
You have stealth/force cloak/shroud/speed. Pick and choose your battles and don't throw yourself into a situation where you're going to be absolutely useless and get chain stunned/rooted/mezzed to death.
There are very few instances where you should be chain stunned like that, and that's holding the ball, or trying to disrupt a capper.
Wait wah? you're talking about BAD ranged players when you should be anticipating their knockback so you can resist it with force shroud?
Pro-tip Baddies will instinctively use their knockback asap once they come out of a stun or force spike. This is when you should force shroud and beat their ***.
Switched from Deception to Madness. Found that without a pre-made the massive damage numbers does not translate to effective damage. The damage that I do usually gets healed. Whereas as deception I could lockdown or kill a healer within 3-4 gcds, and that ends up being more effective than dotting and spamming aoes. My damage per killing blow has gone up drastically, which imo is less efficient. My findings are strictly in solo queues if that gives any insight to play styles without typing out another paragraph.
- Switching back to deception, putting up massive numbers is fun, but it does not translate into effective teamplay or wins. YMMV
Thinking about dropping all the BM accuracy mods and replacing them with Champ crit/surge mods. Has anyone done this and noticed a huge effect in dps or misses/parries?
