  1. Lack of MMO content will always the problem with this game. People want a regular flow of flashpoints, ops, and warzones to bang their heads against, a few hours of levelling content every year or so isn't what keeps subscriptions rolling. Level scaling and adjusting loot tables for eight year old content will only carry you so far, players will eventually get bored, most probably are already, and leave. The hype for this game is long gone, new players aren't flooding in, BW needs to realise this game will only survive another eight years if they work on player retention and that requires catering more to the MMO crowd's hunger for group content. But of course you'll hear from the socially awkward defenders of this game who nervously shake every time someone sends them a whisper that nothing is wrong with SWTOR, it allows them to go straight from being socially awkward at work to being socially isolated in a game genre that has always required socialising. The way this game is going we're going to have one NA server and one server for all of Europe shortly after whatever they have planned for the 10th anniversary.
  2. Engine probably can't handle it.
  3. If only that were true. We're in need of a new Star Wars MMO that's actually designed to be an MMO and not an aborted single player game with a monthly fee.
  4. **** BW at this point, can't wait for EA to throw them in that ditch alongside Westwood and Maxis.
  5. 8 years going and BW still hasn't realised levelling alts isn't a valid form of content. I didn't think things could get much worse than the two years they took to focus on single-player content but here we are.
  6. This patch is utter *********** garbage. What was it delayed for? There's so little being offered here that it should have come out absolutely perfect yet there's "Darth Malgus Unhooded" captions. You couldn't even have spent some time throwing together a flashpoint or warzone map? Anything that would make people feel their money is going to something. Absolutely pathetic.
  7. 10 minutes of "content" that they had to delay to fix God knows what. Who in their right mind has any faith in BW anymore?
  8. It's an MMO and the missions says (HEROIC+2) in front of it, so maybe take that as a clue you need to group with someone? Or take a stab at min-maxing on every planet to finish all the quests within a few hours like a chump.
  9. I'd rather they fix the janky canned animations they use in cutscenes than worry about nitpicking over whether some unnoticed remark had something to do with the new movies.
  10. BW's time would be better spent improving and creating new group content. Story missions don't serve much point beyond levelling.
  11. What does it cost to play the game? $0. Game is free to play.
  12. The SWTOR community is unlike any other MMO community for all the wrong reason. They're the only ones to complain about re-gearing after a new level cap, want single-player content at the expense of group content, and want exclusives removed from the game because they feel they deserve to 100% every bar in the UI, they hate everything that makes MMOs MMOs and demand these features are removed. I'm glad BW has largely ignored these people or the game would have closed down years ago.
  13. I found I was able to hop onto the European servers and at least close all the tickets I had opened, they were also numbered normally. But it's been three days since the last ticket I opened so I'm guessing they still aren't reaching BW.
  14. I've logged in/out plenty of times since noticing this issue so unfortunately my fix will most likely be in BW's hands.
