  1. I was quite happy to run to the DF/DP entrance every time. I was never going to do the dailies to unlock the speeder on more than one toon even though in the long run it may have saved time - weirdly I enjoyed the path from the base to the bridge. It wasn't too long until we had the guild ship transport anyway. I'm hoping we have enough people bored enough to do the SoR crap in guild for the ops summons since I highly doubt i'll be doing it, and if I did I wouldn't be doing it on multiple toons. However, I only play this game for the operations. I have no interest in most of the story or any other daily/planet content.
  2. Seems like you joined some crap guilds. Maybe try joining a smaller one that doesn't recruit every random they can find - might find you have more success getting taught the ops. If anything, tanking is the easiest role for SM Rav/ToS, so says a lot about the guilds if they can't afford to bring a new tank along.
  3. I love it when people throw 'elitist' at everything. It seems to stick to everything in these forums.
  4. I mostly agree with what you've said. However I think the fact that previous HM's have been much easier, and that some have an expectation that they should be able to clear HM within a certain time frame is what is also causing people to be upset. The challenge was nice, even though the bugs were quite annoying. I think having HM be slightly more forgiving may appeal to more people in terms of keeping raiders in the game, since there is still the ability for nim to build on it. I guess it's just the time frame between HM and NiM which is boring when the HM tier is much easier.
  5. Then what motivation would people have to clear the content more then once? I personally dislike Ravagers, so the proposed model you give would mean I could clear it once for the achievement, then never touch it again? This would shorten the lifespan of ops would it not? As well as this, what purpose would a bolster system serve?
  6. I haven't been keeping up with the thread at all, but it isn't hard to see this situation in many raiding guilds. I personally would like to see scaled versions of old operations, however that would bring up plenty of issues, and is definitely not realistic. One can dream though.
  7. I believe they are talking about PUG runs, not guild/prog runs.
  8. Grats Ewok and Savior. Gl to any others going for council before 3.0.
  9. Heal spot has been filled. Thanks to everyone that applied, and sorry we didn't get to trial everyone.
