Yes, expertise is usefull for companions. i I'd suggest using a dps companion regardless of spec. Make your companion attack the player too (ctrl-alt-1). The healing comps can't keep up. If you both have pvp gear it will be a close match. honestly, i prefer a sniper & hk to anything. Remember, it's open world, use heroic moment, unity/sacrifice.

You forgot that we can't cleanse dots anymore either. That one hurts. As an engineer, I miss the double roll. Mostly, I used it to double wall bang someone though. Guessing that's why it is gone. I miss ambush & the pushback you could get, but like the new series of shot. I do not like the interrogation/plasma probe now needing emp discharge to stun someone. Guess it makes sense, a hard hit to stun. all & all, I don't mind the changes that much except for the loss of our dot cleanser. That killed snipers.

While searching for rare spawns in the rakghoul event, I came across a pub. He wasn't flagged for pvp, I always am. Hung out for a moment to see if he was going to engage the champ. He didn't so I did. When the champ was at about 70% the pub flagged himself for pvp and attacked me. What? Hoping to get an easy kill? I sicked hk on him & ran to him on my sniper, throwing out my dots on the way. Right when I got to him, I dropped countermeasures. Even though he never attacked the champ, he now had it's agro. Hk, the champ & I proceeded to kill him. Moral of the story: if someone attacks you while your fighting an npc, use your threat drop & the npcs will attack your opponent.

Pvp - I vote for question 4. Pve - I vote for question 11. Pvp question 4 is about surviving the other team saying "focus the sniper" in arenas. Pve question 11 is about the devs saying alacrity would be good for mm. They tie together for me. Switched to enginering about a week ago from mm. I just got sick of starting every ranked by typing "I'm their first target". maybe scatterbombs will help dealing with 3 melee. Don't know yet, still learning the tree. Mm is generally a quicker shot (sos, ambush, snipe), would like to know if alacity augs would put an engineer close in speed?

I use Vector. He is in 66's, I'm in pvp gear. I seldom heal up durring the dailies (sometimes I need to after aggroing another group or 2 in cz-198). Orbital strike is my friend. Sure, it won't kill the mobs, but it's used as an aoe knockdown. Call that on a group of 3. While the ships are coming in to nuke them, ambush one of the other 2 with followthrough for the kill. If he isn't dead yet, takedown & Followthrough on the other, couple of snipes & followthrough, he's dead. Then just mop up the rest with overload shot. Only difference if there is a strong: pop shield probe & ambush him, followthrough, followed by series of shots, followthrough, takedown, followthrough. Bosses... pop your defensive cooldowns before engaging, they won't last 15 secs. Heal up on your speeder as you leave. I said followthrough 6 times. As a MM sniper, it's instant & does good damage.

Pandora station: Mission UK. Most songs get more intense as they progress, like a good match.

Yeah, some green gear is mod worthy. Only ones I can think of is companion weapons & 2 droid peices. Yep check your companion's origional weapon.

The one that is hunting my sniper! Lol. Sometimes there is 1 person who's goal is to kill me. After I kill him/her I say to myself "maybe next time", & "you again?" When they attack me . When they kill me I usually learn something, their determination teaches me counter skills. 2nd is another sniper, let's me see how I am compared to other people.

You don't get credits, just raises your credit limit cap until spent.

You wonder why your ambush isn't doing 8k+ on DK.

There is a legacy armour that you can get that is similar. You'd need to be a marauder though & have legacy 20.

You can still play. I would be surprised if doing lvl 50 dailies & fp's Didn't give you xp. Just won't get the new stuff until it hits the cartel market & GTN.
