  3. Yeah..... this isn't "up and running" atm this is looking worse than early beta... there are too many issues to begin making a list. GJ
  4. I had to look at the calendar just to confirm to myself today wasn't April 1st.
  5. Let me preface this by saying I am a casual player who plays this game mostly for pvp and have since December of 2010. I do the stories and level up my toons solely to pvp on "all" of them. I don't have a main. I have 12 toons which I have kept in max pvp gear since the horrible days of Centurion, Champion & Battlemaster gear were eliminated and made it possible to gear multiple toons in full pvp gear more easily. As numerous posts have been made about how alt unfriendly this current system is, I won't rehash it, other than say I play all my characters and they will never be fully pvp geared and remain sub par under the current system. This is a grind...a big ugly EQ1, EQ2, Aion type grind. Here's the suggestion. While I like the idea of legacy wide CXP I doubt bioware will go that route. With the current programming they have in place, this alternative should be easy to implement, and be alt friendly to those of us who can't play 24/7 and dedicate the next 5 yrs of their lives to gear up a dozen characters. 100 command levels at 2,000 CXP per level (flat), 200,000 CXP to max out one character (300 levels is far too grindy). You get one command crate per level (just like now), however, there is one gear token per crate to use on armor/weapons purchased at a vendor (they can leave the cosmetic stuff in the crates, i don't really care). There are 2 levels of armor/weapons for everyone just like the old pvp set up pre 5.0 (not individual gear sets for pvp/pve like in pre 5.0 and not 3 tiers of gear like now). You should be able to get one CXP level in a nice casual night of 4-5 regular warzones or whatever else you choose to do. So, maybe 3-4 weeks of casual play for one character, or you could hardcore grind this in much less time. I don't care if someone is able to grind max gear on 12 characters in a month, but I want to be able to max gear my 12 characters in the next year, again, which is still much, much longer than it took pre 5.0. The first level of gear maxes out at command level 50 and you are guaranteed a full level 1 set, the second level maxes at command 100 and you are guaranteed a full level 2 set (math below). After command 100 you still earn a crate at each level and can save up to 10 gear tokens at a time in case you want to purchase a second set of gear (i.e., tank/dps sets). The 10 gear token cap is to ensure you are not building up massive piles of tokens for any future expansions so you are geared up immediately like you were able to with pre 5.0 pvp tokens. BTW I like the old pvp system but I think this is a compromise because I think part of the intent of bioware is to make us gear up on the character we are playing using "current" content. Gear cost (same individual piece cost for levels 1 and 2): 4 tokens each: head, chest, gloves, belt, pants, boots, wrist, total 28 tokens 6 tokens each: primary, secondary weapon slots, total 12 tokens 2 tokens each: ear, implants, relics, total 10 tokens By command level 50 you have a full set of level 1 gear, by command level 100 you have a full set of level 2 gear. Done. Next toon, rinse, repeat. I want to play my alts competitively in pvp and not spend years gearing them up. Does anyone really?
