  1. Whoops. Must've missed it in the search.
  2. I'm on board for this. My thread detailing some more/similar info here.
  3. So, I had a thought: What about a "remove PVP flagging" option for PVE severs? It would make it so that whenever you did something that would flag you (buffing your group with one person flagged, AoE or AoE heals that a flagged person goes into), it instead doesn't hit the flagged person (they don't get the buff/damage/heal). If you have a flagged person targeted, it wouldn't let you do anything to them (heal, damage, buff, etc.), with an error message of "you need to flag yourself for PVP to do that". The one thing I'm concerned about is FFA PVP zones, or if you go into an opposite-faction-controlled area. If something similar would work ("You need to flag yourself for PVP to go there" or something) that could be cool, but I'm not sure if it's within the limitations of the system. Not a "you will be flagged in [countdown]" message, but maybe an auto-teleport to the nearest friendly Medical Droid?
  4. 1. Please tell us a little about yourself. Why do you want to be a part of the Czerka family? Well, I feel that all the trips through "The Thing Czerka Found" got me enough Czerka employee blood on my to qualify as a family member of Czerka Corps. 2. At Czerka, we pride ourselves on our accomplishments. Please name three of your accomplishments that you are most proud of. (Please do not include family milestones such as marriages or the birth of your children.) <Imperial Legacy of Tatooine>, to show my dedication for Fixing Czerka's mistakes, even the ones made in the middle of the damned desert on a planet hotter than Phoenix in July. <Republic Legacy of Tatooine> [see above] <Legacy of Tatooine> Seriously, I've fixed your crap eight times over. Whether it's handing some wacky piece of Rakata technology over to you, or dealing with the "very special" forces you send to deal with it, I've done more than most of your employees do their entire career. 3. How did you go about achieving the accomplishments above. Would you say you would do "whatever it takes" for success? Did you not hear me? I FIXED YOUR DAMN MISTAKES. Take a Czerka-brand fiber-wrapped plexistick and scrub the wax out of your ears. 4. Would you say you have a strong moral compass? Do you think this could get in the way of your job, should you be asked to do something...questionable? What the hell is a compass? Some kind of pass for a comm-log? You said something about morals and questionable actions, and I'm going to have to plead the fifth on that one. 5. You are about to enjoy our wide variety of complimentary cocktails and snacks, when you notice that your esteemed colleague's newest experiment is likely to break out of their confines while you are gone. How would you handle this situation? I'd point at the experiment, shout "Look! A two-headed Kowakian Monkey-Lizard!", then while everyone's attention is turned on the experiment that's shortly going to move me up the corporate ladder, grab an armful of snacks, an armful of cocktail waitress, and get the hell off the planet.
  5. So, I'm about fed up with PVP on Bastion. I'm a PVE player, started on Bastion because that's where my friends were, and world PVP is just getting to the point that I don't want to play anymore. I am reluctant to leave, because my current guild (which has guilds both Imp- & Pub-side) is pretty cool, but if I can find something similar over on Bastion, I can be actually happy once more. I'm a casual player, so I'm not sure if this should be going here or not, but I'm looking for a guild that has a decently active (and preferably adult, but I can reign myself in for PG-13) chat, people on at different hours, and preferably a sister guild on the opposite faction. Currently have a 55 Arsenal Merc, 52 Carnage Marauder, 52 Gunnery Commando, 50 Deception Assassin, 50 Concealment Operative, 45 (currently leveling) Scrapper Scoundrel, and a handful of "waiting on Fleet to start leveling" toons. I am a terrible altoholic (can you tell?) and am mostly working to get all 8 base classes to level 50. But I'm typically at least humorous in chat, and can help with most crafting skills (only Armstech & Biochem aren't maxed yet). So, if you think I may be a good fit for your guild, let me know. I have a couple toons on Harbinger currently, and we could chat.
  6. What I'm hoping people can help me with here is finding a large-size Assault Cannon for my Trooper to wield. She needs a BFG, preferably a customizable one. I haven't got too far along with her (level 30 so far) but I've got her running a Searing Crusader (from Coruscant), but I have a feeling there's much bigger weapons out there. I know there's a ton of Assault Cannons out there, and while Torhead can help me to find names, a large chunk of them have no data other than the stats (so no knowledge of where they drop, are purchased from ,or rewarded by), and no screenshots to show the weapon being held to show what size it is next to a PC. While I don't really have preferences other than "big", if there happens to be a minigun-style one out there, that may work as well. I don't know just how big the guns can go, but the character that'll be wielding it is a body type 1 female (the tiny one) and I' hoping I can find one that would be close to her size. Can anyone help me with this?
  7. I recently started making new tabs for chat, to help divide stuff up if I want to mix chat channels up a bit (one for "everything but general/trade" more or less, one with them included, etc.) and I noticed something odd: the System Messages option (at least I'm pretty sure that's what it reads... not on SWTOR right now so I can't say for certain) covers a wide range of stuff, not all I need to really see. It covers items gained (whether from loot, vendors, etc.), experience gains (and the messages from completing missions/exploration), credits gained (from looting, selling to a vendor, etc.), and NPC chatter (vendor talk, companion attack/kill/etc. messages, and so on). Could this get broken up into these four? Setting each to its own color would be nifty.
  8. After dinging my Concealment Operative to 40 and picking up Acid Blade, I'm now really wondering why it (and it's Scrapper Scoundrel counterpart, Flechette Round) has a place on my bars. Acid Blade/Flechette Round seem to argue the point for Macros, if anything else, OR to give Operatives/Scoundrels a toggle-able "Stance" to always have Acid Blade up before Hidden Strike or Backstab (or Flechette Round before Shoot First or Backblast), essentially just adding the effects and cost of Acid Blade/Flechette Round to those moves (after applying any talents to them, such as Meticulously Kept Blades or Underdog). I'm pretty much always using Acid Blade while in Stealth and sneaking up on my target to Hidden Strike, and the same goes for once I'm in combat and Backstabbing. Granted, having your "big move" be just a Stance seems like a bit of a letdown, but I'd be happy with it. Not sure what the community thinks though.
  9. I have a pair of suggestions for Crew Skill Trainers: Could we get, on the mi9nimap, icons for only the crew skills we have trained? It would cut down on the minimap clutter immensely. In addition, could the Minimap icons show if we have skills to train, like the icons above the trainers? Either a small version of the one that is over the trainer's heads (Diamond with green plus sign) or a different one altogether (Green color diamond?). Also, after completing the Hostile Takeover mission (Imperial Agent class mission on Nar Shaddaa) it seems like Agents would have little issue getting "holographic" disguises, like the droid one that's used in the mission (part of the mission involves getting implants to allow you to have the hologram around you to get inside). I posted a thread over here in the Agent forum with ideas (mission item, so it doesn't take up inventory space, non-mission item, Relic, Implant, or some other equipment, I think disguises would be pretty cool, especially to become droids or races that are highly unlikely to be playable (mostly due to the language barrier thing, like say a Gamorrean, Trandoshan, Jawa, etc.). What are everyone elses takes on these?
  10. I'd just like to salute you, Veerlo (and apparently, Maxumus & Dessia too). The coordinates have worked wonders, and while I'm on my last few pieces of wreckage to find as I write this, this just feels cool. Thanks guys.
  11. I recently finished the awesome mission of Hostile Takeover (for a refresher, you get implants that allow you to take on a hologram form of a droid), and, while I highly doubt something like this would be added, I'd like to know others' opinions on this idea: Let us keep the Droid disguise as a reusable thing after the mission I was disappointed when I had to give up the disguise after the cinematic. Especially seeing that /dance worked perfectly fine with the droid disguise, and it was hilarious. Secondly, given that Agents of all flavors now have implants in them that allow them to take on hologram forms, it seems like this would be an easy point to retake on some future missions (unless there's a plot point later on that revolves around them being taken out or something... don't really want to get spoiled if something similar happens). Hell, even if I had to use up an equipment slot (whether actual Implant, Relic, or something else), I'd be happy for it. This could even be expanded upon for other classes as well if it was an equipment slot thing. I'd also be happy making a permanent space in my bag occupied by a transformation item, better yet if it was considered a Mission one, since there appears to be no logical way to max out your mission item tab. I mean, some of my most favored "keepsakes" in WoW are the transformation items, whether to turn you into another currently-playable race, an NPC race, or something else are all fun to use, and usually don't even require an equipment slot taken up. What are other people's thought on this?
  12. Hi there. Just realized there actually was a Suggestion sub-forum, which is cool, and a ticket I put it directed me here as well. A few things have come up to me that others may or may not have similar feelings about: 1. Just completed "The Infinite Empire" on Nar Shaddaa (Empire-side) for the third time, and just noticed that one of the two side-missions (Stop the Moving Parts) is listed as level 18 in the mission log, as opposed to level 22 like the initial mission and it's other side-mission, which can easily wind up with you killing 35 of the enemies inside for a whopping 1 experience, which is... underwhelming to say the least. 2. As for crew skills, it's more to do with the array of missions for the gathering & mission-only skills. For a skill like Artifice, which has 4 different types of missions (Power Crystals, Color Crystals, Artifacts, and Artifice Crafting Materials like Brocart Filaments), you can wind up needing a specific type of crafting material, and just not having any missions to get it. While I know you can "reset" the available missions by doing say, one of the lower ones, it seems like it would be helpful to have at least one available mission for each type at all times (aside from when you have a companion out on a mission, as your choices get a bit restricted then). 3. And finally, Planetary Commendations, my biggest gripe. I'm mostly wondering why there's such difference between the modification levels available per planet. For instance, Balmorra Commendations (Empire), you can get Commando, Force Wielder, Guardian and Patron Armoring/Mod/Barrel/Hilt 6 or 7, but Might and Reflex only 6, and nothing for Skill or Resolve. It only gets worse from there, as there get to be 3-level ranges, as opposed to just 2, as on Alderaan (Commando, Force Wielder, Guardian and Patron Armoring/Mod/Barrel/Hilt 12 or 13, while Might Armoring/Hilt (no Mods) 11 or 12, Reflex Armoring/Barrel (no Mods) 12, Resolve Armoring/Hilt 11, Resolve Mod 12, Skill Armoring/Barrel 11, Skill Mod 12. The Enhancements are of a similar odd range. Why the strange range of stuff? yes, I realize the higher-end, more available by commendations stuff is, for lack of a better word, Tanking gear (higher Endurance than mainstat) that you can't get via crafting skills til rank 14 or so, but why not have the same rank of "non-Tanking" (higher mainstat than Endurance) mods available at the same time?
  13. Do you mean the affection "popups" after conversation choices aren't popping up anymore?
  14. Thrash is an Inquisitor skill as opposed to Assassin because you get it early, before you choose your spec, and even if you were planning on going Sorcerer, I'm pretty sure on Korriban you were still hitting things with Thrash. Likely, as you level as Sorcerer, you won't need to use it anymore, and you can easily stop upgrading it. As for the Willpower thing, what should they use? Strength doesn't fit a "rogue", and neither would Aim or Cunning. I figure the stealth aspects are calling upon the Force, and as such, require Willpower to do so.
  15. Hey, there's always that one chick from the Cult of You on Nar Shadaa if you're Dark-side and male.
  16. Hell, you can gear up 2V-R8 to heal you. I had issues with Khem dying too fast with, er, I think it was some form of Colicoid Queen for the class quest on Dromund Kaas (as Deception), so I respecced Darkness, geared 2V up, and blasted her easy. Sure, things take a bit longer to die, but you also don't die. I can't express how happy I am to have a tank with Rogue abilities (Stealth, Sap, Cloak of Shadows, Backstab for an opener for now, and the ever-awesome "+15 Level Stealth boost") and while I do have to listen to 2V's servile whining servos, it's a small price to pay for this much fun.
  17. No, pretty much just the really good stuff, to be Skill-specific.
  18. Couple questions: Would this be that Armormech would craft Cunning & Aim Mods & Enhancements, and Synthweaving Strength & Willpower? And in a similar vein: How exactly would this work? Unless "Base" stats (Strength, Aim, Willpower, Cunning) are added, Artifice Crystals, aside from color, are +Crit or +Endurance (at least, from all the patterns I've seen so far); kinda hard to differentiate. Unless this change would make Crystals "Tech" or "Force", and only be applicable to one type of weapon.
  19. If I'm not mistaken, Companion skills are pretty similar in effect to PC skills. Take Khem Val. Khem seems to be approximated to a Juggernaut-specced Warrior. Find the mirrored (or similar) abilities Khem and Warriors/Juggernauts have at 50, and bingo, there you go.
  20. Can we get AFK cleared when we hit a button on the keyboard or move/click the mouse, rather than just on movement? When I'm crafting and sending people on shorter missions, I tend to Alt-Tab to browse the internet, and come back every few minutes to give them a new mission/whatever. However, apparently not moving isn't the same as AFK. I hit the N key, click through crafting windows etc, but still get logged out for being AFK. This is frustrating, especially when my chat window is filled with "X crafted Y", "there are no missions for Z", and companion Mission/Crafting complaints/boasts/etc.
