Quick thinking by the Vanguard! THIS is why I love huttball - so many EPIC moments!

I decided to come back and see what's up. I was an original SWTOR player ( since beta ) and had high hopes for the game but had to /unsub due to frustrations with the game. I bought into the hype of GW2 and played that for a few months but God almighty that game ended up being complete crap! With no other game on the market offering a good gaming (PvP) experience I decided to /resub here for a short while to see if things have improved. I want to dust off my WH Sorc and play her for a bit but my WH Marauder also made for some good times. I'm sure I'll find out in game soon enough but I gotta ask: Has this game improved any - specifically the PvP action? Did ranked ever take off or is it still dead? Queue's popping frequently? PUG games still filled with noobs? F2P killing the game? Thx for the feed-back.

I was a Founder, a beta player, and I just now clicked the CANCEL button today. My wife's sub is soon to follow. The quoted post describes some of MY reasons for leaving as well but there are many MANY reasons this game just fails which have already been stated by previous posters in this thread. For a PvPer this game is an exercize in sheer frustration. If Bioware actually took the time to address these then I'd still be a subscriber. Suffice it to say that, for me, this game going F2P will NOT bring me back. Fixing the CORE ISSUES, not adding more-of-the-same content, "might" but I'll be playing GW2 by then. BW: L2Dev...

Crappy games will fail regardless of financial model. No one wants to pay for a sub-par gaming experience. Period.

Again I say, if this game suits your playstyle, enjoy your game. However, the 800K other people who've already unsubbed, and now myself, and many more still to come, will no longer be helping finance it.

Ok, stop right there. Let's call this game for what it really is: a heavily instanced single-player experience where you occasionally can share it with up to 4 or 8 other people. If this is YOUR thing good for you, enjoy the game. However, my sub ends this month.

Good games I'd say occur < 50% of the time, probably between 25-40%. Great games - where both teams are knowledgeable, skilled, and equally geared - 2% tops.

BW stated 40% of the people that quit would come back if the game was free??? How much more entertainment do you need at .25 cents an hour while still allowing SWTOR, or any gaming company for that matter, to keep the servers up and its people employed??? I can't wait to see all the subtle product placements/advertisements. Imperial (Coke-a-Cola) vs Republic (Pepsi).... Loading screens with unskippable commercials... WRONG! Everyone that participates in WarZones has been complaing about this forever. If there is an ISP issue, it would on BioWares end, not the thousands of players who suffer through this pain on a daily basis. Or their server hardware/code just blows. <-- I'm betting my paycheck it's that.

One of my toons is a hybrid corruption/madness sorc. I can consistently pump out 350K+ total damage/healing. Bear in mind those are not beastly numbers when compared to either pure DPS or pure healer but the added utility for my team, and the fact I can choose to either heal or DPS depending on situation, is what makes this class fun for me. You said you're guarded - that's a start. But is your team peeling off you? As a healer you're a turret - if you're on the run your team's not getting healed. Anyone that jumps you should be instantly focused on by your teammates. Pillar humping and LOSing will only get you so far. So if you're in a guild group and got your vent up I suggest informing your teammate when you aggro'd that marauder!

BW ain't gonna do this....queues would be few and far between and the QQing would then go through the roof.

This is how it starts....once you start posting on these forums you realize you have more fun here than with your 50s.
