  1. Look, my Jedi shouldn't have a huge ***. I say nay. The Beyoncé booty needs to go. Some derp Bioware employee didn't get the memo and seems to think that my Knight is smuggling a shelf from IKEA around the galaxy his my ***. Its easily one of the most ridiculous issues on this game and given how frequently they've been rolling out fixes, I'm shocked it hasn't been resolved yet. I'm guessing that we'll see it fixed around the time that they update the character preview pane to show weapons etc. But really Bioware, Beyoncé called, she wants her booty back.
  2. ^ This, for the love of god. I'd settle for some better legs that don't look skin tight on every model but I agree the robes are nicely done. The hats... Lord have mercy. Bioware stole the hats right out of the Pope's wardrobe. I'd like it if they implemented more social gear for Consulars to mod out or let us wear the orange moddable Medium/Heavy armour but Adapt it to Light. I can understand why that wouldn't be too popular though My Sage wears the Omenbringers Robe with the Rakghoul Outbreak Social rewards for legs and boots. They're essentially white armour pieces that colour mods nicely but as I understand it, they're no longer attainable
  3. I agree with him too. This isn't SWG, nor is it SWG2, this is SWTOR. I'd rather they take a brand new direction with the game than recycling old ideas personally.
  4. Even with the new animation, there's still a delay. It's shorter but its there. The solution they came up with was apparently 'fixing' Shock by breaking Project.
  5. I agree with this to an extent, I think its good it was pointed out But on the flip side, given that Jedi aren't warriors by nature, isn't it reasonable to assume that many simply can't stay true to their Jedi ideals when fighting a galactic war? I think the Jedi are shown really well in the game but its ridiculous to believe every Jedi can be a perfect poster boy in a bloody, drawn out galactic war. It'd be nice to see more Jedi giving into some militaristic urges or becoming more like soldiers as a result of the war as opposed to going completely insane like the few we've seen. I'd like to think its possible to make a 'cool' renegade-ish Jedi that makes the Republic more attractive while maintaining their core Jedi believability. Personally for me, if it was possible for an Imperial Synthweaver to craft an Imperial-looking item and then put it on the Neutral GTN for me to buy as a Jedi/Trooper/Smuggler without it morphing into the Republic version of the item, I'd definitely consider rolling a Republic-side class.
  6. It is possible for the SW to wear a mask and hood at the same time with some of their gear. I also think there's a single piece of gear for the JK to wear with the hood but I agree, I think it should be applied more universally
  7. I agree with what you're saying I think the key is to be patient. Roleplayers are unfortunately in the minority and the game has a lot of problems with PvE/PvP that the more vocal subscribers are yelling about. I think they'll tighten up roleplayability on the game, it'll just take some time. Its not ideal but I'm optimistic that the result will be worth the wait.
  8. I don't understand the hatred towards Satele. She doesn't qualify as a Mary Sue from what I know of the definition. We've barely seen anything of her other than two cinematics in which she has her rear thoroughly booted by Malgus. Even in "Hope", she needed Jace's help to even get Malgus to back off. In many ways, we've seen Malgus' ******ery but Satele's done nothing significant since the start of TOR. I'd love the opportunity to FIGHT Satele but kill her? No, not until she's had her chance to make her mark on the game. Besides, she's nice and I'd much rather have her as the Grand Master of the Jedi Order than the JK or JC in some future expansion.
  9. I don't mind the Cathar. They'd never be my first choice. Personally, I want Kel Dor although I know it'd be difficult to make customisation options for them as a playable race. I'm just pleasantly surprised Bioware are talking about implementing a new race so soon
  10. I understand that you're saying, thank you I just don't know if I trust EA to go the LotrO route, especially as 'Pay to Win' seems more economically viable with the number of casual players Its too early to tell at this point, I know there's been a lot of 'OMGAWD TOR IS GOING F2P' and 'TOR will never go F2P' but its just speculation. None of us will really know for sure what's going to happen, no matter how well we articulate our points. Until Bioware release a straight-talking official statement, we can only predict what'll happen. Thank you for helping me to understand F2P a little better though!
  11. But why should I have to pay for something in a game when the alternative would be playing the game to get it? I don't mean to be rude to anyone who likes F2P but the model seems to cater to the lazy, easy option for gamers who prefer paying for rewards rather than earning them. I swear I don't mean that as aggressively as its coming off Its just an observation.
  12. ^ This. Calling something 'Free'-to-play is a bit deceptive. No MMO will ever be 100% free. I'd rather pay $15 a month for the whole package and PLAY the game to earn rewards rather than dipping into my wallet every time I want to expand my bags or add a cosmetic to my ship. For example, in order to get that ever-elusive Voss Mystic Robe, I have to play with other people like I expect from an MMO, not just input my credit card details. I enjoy playing games with my friends and other people and earning rewards as a team. What's the point of playing an MMO if you just purchase content for yourself rather than earning it with other people? That's just my two cents anyway, I'll continue paying loyally until Bioware announce it becomes F2P if that's the way the games going, then I'll quit and find something new
  13. To be perfectly honest, if people want to quit, they'll quit. Ok, you like the game, thats great. But they're paying money for a service, if they don't like it, they'll leave. Its as simple as that. I'm sticking around on TOR and if people want to leave, I wish them the best and move on. I don't say 'haha, you're such a whiner, no ones gonna miss you, laters'. Someone choosing not to renew their subscription is their choice and their choice alone for whatever reason they like, not a personal insult to anyone who chooses to continue playing. Why the hostility?
  14. Well said! This isn't a single player KOTOR game, its an MMO where content WILL be added and improved as time goes on. I think people need to give the game, and Bioware, half a chance before they judge it. And stop posting doomsday threads about how much they hate the game and how they're going to quit if so-so isn't added, fixed or whatever. If its not fun, leave. But I'd like to think people have the decency to give Bioware an oppurtunity to address the issues that they know are there. So much effort has put into this game, it'd be a true shame to see WoW fanatics and over-zealous fans etc drive it into the ground before its had a chance to grow. Buuut if its not fun after a few months, leeeave. Its all about the enjoyment after all! Happy gaming guys!
