  1. 1. better quest design. storylines are great and the dialogue is best the gaming world has ever seen and blahblahblah, but when the dialogue is over it's always "kill x of y" and "collect x of z". true no one reads WoW quests but the quest objectives themselves can be so much more fun - rolling around as a huge ball of fire running over a thousand gnomes, jumping on trees to throw bear cubs onto a trampoline, flying around on a bird and throwing spears at bad guys while in a collapsing cavern. it can be silly but it's unique and FUN! 2. addons. ive posted in other threads of all the great features missing in this game that couldve easily been replaced by an addon, ui scaling, extra quickslots, raid frames with actual useful information, cast bars that arent an inch long hiding in a corner of the screen, etc. just gets me mad when theres hundreds of great things addons can do for the game and people will violently revolt against them because of 2 addons - dps meters, and gearscore. you take the good with the bad, and the good far outweighs the bad, and i think bioware devs realize this too, and one day when addons are added to this game, i'll be back.
  2. NO. BIOWARE KNOW WHAT BEST FOR YOU NO ADDONS, ADDONS BAD DEFAULT UI IS BEST UI Now back to paying.. Err.. Playing.
  3. I think the people who unsubbed, like me, weren't playing up until the very last day possible. being that most of us who unsubbed didnt find the game very fun, there's little reason why we would keep playing for no reason up until the moment we couldn't. So not having a sudden drop off in population doesn't mean that TORs population is any better. A more gradual drop off shouldn't be a reassuring fact to the "non-doomsayers" either. You have to look at this thing long term. Keep watching over the next few weeks/months and then come back and make conclusions. Even though i unsubbed, I still want this game to succeed. I wan't to come back eventually. It's just right now I don't have enough fun to justify the monthly fee. Sorry. Also I thought I wouldn't be able to post without a sub? Just tried to log on ingame and I can't. /shrug.
  4. you're delusional if you think just because you want something that the majority of other people want it too. majority of people don't care about chat bubbles. majority of people wouldn't care if chat bubbles were in game as long as they could be disabled. there are not hundreds of thousands of you that feel that chat bubbles are so necessary. get your facts straight.
  5. try resetting the quest. might as well go for 3 more wins if youve already dedicated yourself to 8.
  6. shouldve been a feature at launch. happy it's coming, not happy that it took this long.
  7. doesn't need to be changed back, just needs to be fixed correctly. the way it was before, everything greyed out while GCD was up, so you couldnt tell if instant/reactive abilities were up until GCD was off. they need to leave it the way it is now, BUT change it so that abilities on their regular cooldowns stay greyed out. its mind blowing how they couldve possibly messed this up twice for what should be something very, very simple.
  8. yes, the entire development team at bioware took time off from everything else to work on the founders title. bug team, new content team, graphics team, everybody. do you ever think before saying something?
  9. Dukarg left thread after 1 post and no replies http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4020/4460134178_102779e9cf.jpg
  10. i'll break the bad news to you all and explain why their won't be a rollback. how would YOU realistically as a game developer initiate a rollback that was fair to everyone? attacking the turrets didn't give valor, that was a myth. people who gained valor through warzones did nothing wrong. some people fought on ilum but weren't part of the spawn camping. some servers actually had decent republic:imperial balance and had huge battles that resulted in a lot of valor. if you rollback only people who made ridiculous amounts of valor, where do you draw the line? 15, 20, 30+ levels? but which people through fair fighting gained 20 levels over the course of a full day and which did it in 3 hours? finally, who are you going to get to review all these logs of thousands of players? would you know how long it takes? how many people it would require? how many resources you'd need to take away from other development tasks? and what do you get from all this hard work of roll backs? some will lose only a pvp title. some will lose the title and the level 60 valor requirement for certain gear. not exactly game breaking from biowares perspective. strongest valid complaint against letting the valor exploiters keep their valor is that its "morally" unjust, or unfair. that's a lot of work to do to appease simple moral outcry in a video game. tldr; it's way too big of a logistics nightmare for bioware to handle. get use to the idea of no roll backs. unsubscribe if you want. i already did way before this whole issue started.
  11. enjoy your dead game with no players.
  12. you know if we had addons any and all UI issues like this could've already been solved. just a simple addon that changes the abilities to always be greyed out if on CD, or one that just shows CD timers. bioware would still be responsible for getting their **** together and eventually fix the issue so an addon wouldnt be needed, but at the rate they try to fix things by messing them up even more i've become more and more convinced that having addons wouldve saved A LOT of headaches that this game causes.
  13. this above all things is worthy of an unsubscribe. having bugs, imbalances, missing features is all fine and dandy when bioware says they're working on fixing it, but lying and saying you'll fix it and then not is worthy of all the customer rage they'll get for this. what's worse is that they'll come out with some PR robot to say "there appears to be an unexpected issue and we will be sure to investigate thoroughly". bioware would get so much more credibility if they just talked to us like human beings and say "you know what guys, we ****ed up, we're sorry and we're gonna get this fixed ASAP"
