On paper they don't make a difference, but from an RP standpoint they do make a difference...at least to me. I avoided the DS flirt options, and was able to romance Kira completely via LS options.

I stuck to my Oath for one or two flirt options (ie, refused to flirt), and was still able to romance her after she convinced my character that love is a wonderful thing, and that the Jedi Code is wrong in this regard. So in short, I think you can get by with refusing at least one flirt (possibly two, but I don't recall honestly).

yeah, I've sort of given up doing some of the Mario jumpy puzzles for Holocrons atm. I spent an hour trying to reach the cube in Justicar territory, but after lagging and falling for ever, I gave up. Mind you, this is a cube that I've gotten easily before several times.

A name I spelled incorrectly at character creation got flagged as taken during character transfer. So I spelled it correctly this time, and it wasn't taken, hahaha. So I really didn't loose a name...I actually gained one.

I don't mind MT as long as it's for vanity items or convenience. And now the reliance on orange/mod-able gear to replace cosmetic gear you find in other games makes even more sense. In other games, a micro-transaction for a really cool looking piece of cosmetic gear might be hindered due to it not having top stats. But if that cosmetic gear were also able to be modded to compete in the game...you'd likely sell more of that item whilst avoiding pay-to-win.

I'd like to see your data showing 'most people' will have to change their legacy name. I didn't have to. And mine is a simple 3 letter surname.

That is just bad luck. Perhaps we can get more character slots soon. I know I'd like more than 8, and I know many others do too.

Her quest begins in the same area that the Nar Shaddaa bonus series happen (not the bread crumb quest giver at the space port). so I logged in and took my smuggler there to verify the route...I think this is it: Nar Shaddaa spaceport > Lower Industrial Sector>Imperial Gadget Warehouse>(elevator to top floor)High Security Lockdown. The quest giver should be to the right as you exit the elevator. Alternatively if you've got the Quick Travel station unlocked, you can tranport directly to it.

gawd I hate "design by metrics" philosophy of some game designers. Gotta hit those target numbers rather than, you know, playing the class and seeing if it's fun or not.

As others have suggested, enhancements and crystals. These are items with the largest market (everyone needs them). And with enhancements, every mod-able item has a slot, so the market is really quite open. I've found that while you can get commendation enhancements that suffice, they really aren't the ideal ones I'd like to have in my gear. This is opposite of, say, Mods modifications which have better versions as comm rewards or looted.

Don't do OPs Don't do Warzones Don't like Space as it currently is. Don't PvP A new companion isn't that exciting to me, especially since I still have 5 other classes to play, each of which has a companion I know nothing about, and is essentially new to me. New Planet with missions...cool. ...so it's kinda underwhelming for me. What I'd like to see: The new secret space system, more companion quests (full quests, not just talking to them in the mess hall), more story (Chpt 4).

Don't like space. Didn't do any of the missions until we discovered you could earn high level crafting mats. So yeah, I do space now, but not because I like it. Wondering if BW metrics show that?

After playing a JK and SW I wanted something with less gravitas. Smuggler is definitely more light-hearted/adventurous in that regard. I've had a lot of fun playing my Scoundrel who's become sort of a cross between Han Solo and a Clint Eastwood cowboy (Good, Bad, Ugly or Outlaw Jose Wales).

I find that I do tend to watch the battles more with my Smuggler than my JK or my SW...with the latter two, I most certainly intent on the Hotbar...with JK it's monitoring the interrupts and the enemy casting bar. What makes the difference is that my Smuggler has two very distinct sets of combat abilities. Long range and melee range. So when I'm in a fire fight, it's pretty straight forward - I stay behind cover and shoot my blaster. If a mob comes into melee range, then its a different set of abilities. In short, I don't have to monitor 30+ keybinds like I do with JK and SW.

Yeah, I know. I can't believe I fell for it..haha. I'm a sucker that way. On the plus side I got 200 LS points and 500 affection with Jaesa (LS Jaesa).
