Circle-strafing is fine and all, but I'd say about 75%* of the people I see doing it aren't trying to achieve some tactical advantage, they just like mindlessly running in circles. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against moving; I'm an avid bunny-hopper. But just to reiterate, I think for most people the movement is less skill and more spaz-mode. *I made this number up.
