  1. lol sorry didn't read the sig. i might not be speaking for everybody(not a wow player here) but being an op from beta i got in the habit because i kept getting the red text telling me i wasn't behind my target and the back and forth strafing alleviated the majority of the annoying text (to be honest i haven't tried not doing it since:o). it would be nice to get out of the habit cause i don't like running around like i'm having a seizure every time i'm fighting somebody lol its good to see more and more concealment ops (just too bad we have to be well geared to be equals with classes that are good out of the box) keep up the good fight. btw the answer to fixing this issue would be to nerf operatives
  2. we stealthy types change direction so often because (at least for ops) our damaging moves require us to be behind the target and with the server client sync the way it is, just because we are behind them on our screen does not mean we are behind them on the server. the moving back and forth allows us the required criteria to perform the desired backstab/hiddenstrike or what have you. now i do admit we also do this on moves that don't require us to be behind you but that's because once we get in the habit it kinda becomes part of the rotation:o
  3. respec to vengeance and have your way with him. since most of vengeance damage is white damage it tears right through their resilience from my experience most sin/shadows run from vengeance jugs
  4. there really isn't much choice when it comes to a hybrid spec for ops // if you do go hybrid the only useful one would be heals/lethality now as to the actual build/talents you spec into depend on weather you are doing pve or pvp but a decent one for self survivability / ok damage is 13/3/25 or 18/2/21 this way you get the hot in the med tree and cull in the lethality tree // it works fairly nicely since you get ta from your main heal and if you use the first build you get more defensive ability/energy management and if you use the second one you get more opportunity for ta procs/damage from cull.... both can be fun but you excel at nothing
  5. if you do not have the 9% cunning increase you need to take out a point somewhere in your concealment tree so you can put 3 points in the med tree for that 9% it stacks up especially when you add augments to your gear with cunning augments // if you already have the 9% cunning boost then i would go for the extra damage to shiv in the lethality tree or as the previous poster said the tactical advantage (being concealment spec you are poisoning your targets with acid blade so you can use lacerate or stim boost more often)

Guys that is OP, especially if it isnt a long cool down ability" its not the stealth ability that is removing your dots. All smart ops either cleanse the dots before entering stealth (cause they can cleanse most dots) or use their dodge ability that removes the dots as they enter stealth. every time this happens to you that op has blown his 2 most valuable defensive cool downs in one go, and if he gets caught via random aoe or something it usually winds up a dead op.
  7. so i have been playing around with my mara and decided to try something a little different 13/28/0 i am also using the juyo stance for the 100% crit on bleeds through berserk my reasoning behind it was to get deadly saber some baby heals and make my dots more effective and still have the roots and 100% armor debuff from gore its been pretty fun hardest thing is to manage the rage just wondering if anybody else has tried this spec or something similar (its fun watching all the numbers from my bleeds with the big hits from ravage after gore) it aso seems to confuse people since i am juyo and the dots start rolling they dont seem to hit me with a stun or knock back when i use gore+ravage since they assume i am pure annihilation spec i'm still working on it and is a lot of fun i just don't know if i am missing out with massacre (i like the move but the animation is so long that i feel it almost hinders my dps and with the 30% speed buff from predation i found when i am pure carnage almost never use berserk)

  9. I find the easiest way to get a smash off is do the build up on one target and then obliterate or force leap to the largest cluster most of the time they dont even see you have joined the scrum and get a decent smash on them all

  14. another thing i thought might be appropriate here my concealment op did not break the 2.5k damage medal till level 30ish and i got it a with stim+relic+adrenal (fully modded orange gear for my level plus a purple earpiece and blue implants so it wasnt a gear issue). my gunslinger and my shadow both got that medal @ lvl 10 so to say that the ops opener pre 50 is still ok is basically bs since you have to have a cunning stim+power or surge relic+ power adrenal to get a 2.9k crit. i love playing my op but after playing around with the other stealth class and the opposite advanced class i could have chosen it just gets depressing picking off what others have left for dead. But since ops can still pick off those that are left for dead i guess this means ops need another nerf. cant have them doing that now can we
  15. i say make leath for ops have the same range as leath for snipers make them both 30 m (ie cull weakening blast) that one change would make the spec viable since you wouldnt have to get within 10m to do any decent damage imho
