Mentioning 4chan is very suspicious on your part, bioware stuff seems to be obsessed with blaming them on everything. Let me guess, you are a guy that coded shadows, right ?

Better question is how many of you white knighting fanboys are bioware employees like THAT GUY ?

People are comparing SW:TOR with 2012 WoW, not 2004 WoW. Seven years are eons in gaming industry, even if WoW launch was as bad as you're trying to make it, saying that SW:TOR launch is barely better isn't much of a compliment. Here's some logic for you.

I think today was a last day for most that wanted to quit and started on 12.20, so they are already gone. I waited until end of grace period so two more days for me. Oh and I quit due to performance and responsiveness issues mainly.

They increased commendation cost of pre 50 lvl gear by 75%. That's a huge increase. Worst part is there is no mention of that in patch notes. I basically got royally screwed over that as I can buy only 3 items now instead of 5. Really not nice to put stealth nerf like this.

Well yes, seriously. My main problem is that it is a stealth undocumented nerf.

Its extremely easy to get geared at level cap, yet gearing while leveling needs to be a chore ? And my main problem is there was no mention in patch notes about that.

I'm level 36 and I was planning to buy lvl 40 pvp set so I farmed warzone commendations. Wasn't sure what pieces I would be needing first so I decided to wait with purchasing until I was closer to level 40, but today I found out that Bioware increased prices on all pre 50 pvp gear by 75%, for example: implant 100 ->175 weapon 330 ->580 And they failed to mention that change in the patch notes. Now I'm asking how is that fair to do such thing without any warning, that price increase is huge ! Basically I need to work twice as hard now, if they added that change to patch notes I would at least spend my commendations. I feel kinda cheated now and have my desire to continuing playing diminished. Or maybe I'm missing something, any thoughts ? Here is a list of all item changes in 1.1:

Guys calm down. Bioware is allowing all that inquisitors to gain POWAH, UNLIMITED BATTLEMASTER POWAAAAH, its a part of their story line and SW:TOR is a story driven MMORPG. Working as intended.

Nothing. Boring and buggy as hell and I'm not even 50. If that wasn't for Star Wars skin I wouldn't be playing that crap for more than 5 minutes. Forums are way more entertaining, watching same bunch of desperate biodrones swarming every thread and copy pasting their "go back to Pandaland" line is amusing.

Bioware proves once more that they are a bunch of incompetent amateurs unfit to run a MMORPG. No wonder this game is called Tortanic

It's not about helping some side, it's about better gaming experience. As an Empire you have much easier time finding a groups for heroic quest and flashpoints, better economy etc. Republic on many pvp servers is dying, nobody wants to invest a lot of time in republic character.

Any reason why brackets should NOT be implemented ? No matter how you spin it, non lvl 50 is in disadvantage vs lvl 50. No brackets is actually hurting a game because players bellow 50 stop joining warzones due to being roflstomped by 50's of opposing side and being blamed for loses by 50's of their own side. Lose/lose situation unless you are a loser getting a kick out of of facerolling players in their teens on your geared lvl 50.

Can anyone enlighten me how come that SW:TOR is the game that exposes all that supposed flaws in peoples machines ? Not BF3, The Witcher 2, Skyrim or whatever is a benchmark nowadays but average looking MMO that should be optimised to run on as many rigs as possible ?

This. Service they are offering is sub par to service offered by their competition, simple as that. Not sure if it's incompetence or just cutting corners.
