  1. I played D1 on the playstation and started playing D2 in 2001. I farmed cows, then I farmed Baal once cows were nerfed. Some friends and me tested 1.10 when the beta for it was out and enjoyed the added difficulty as well as the duped item wipe. I have completed Hell countless times and have farmed Uber Tristram on my smiteadin. Last time I played D2 was before the last ladder reset. Your refusal to answer what TOR has in relation to D2 is more annoying than fighting Oblivion Knights as a barbarian. Now can you please answer the question?
  2. There is more to this story than you are admitting. My friend's two fifties have never been short on cash for the level 40 speeder. I was 10k short because I was trying to powerlevel crafting.
  3. I could say the same to you about Twilight, but we both know it's a horrible story Right?
  4. Trion is actually producing content for Rift at an astonishing rate, and I'm willing to bet they haven't screwed up as bad as Bioware has with Ilum.
  5. Making an MMO paid for by EA in a cash-shop universe is somehow more risky than a company trying to innovate? Do we live in the same world? All major MMOs have been profitable. The cost of servers for MMOs is so overblown a miniscule amount of your monthly payment goes towards their upkeep. A single sub is worth more than 15 free players playing your game.
  6. It's more exciting in H LK and H Rag where squeezing out every single point of DPS a triumph. It keeps you from stacking healers and taking five hours to kill the boss.
  7. You clearly have never played a pre-WoW MMO. Stats defined your character in Everquest, FFXI, Ultima, Dark Age of Camelot, ect. Because and Everquest 1 warrior had enough abilities for a player to be considered "skilled" Considering how this formula is so copied? Yes Bioware could have went and made their own unique MMO, but they wanted customers. That's why they copied WoW, let Arenanet make the risky game.
  8. You stated GOTY awards, hence reviewers, Skyrim is also criticized by many, for the exact same problems you stated. You think TOR doesn't have diehard fanboys that love the game no matter what Bioware does? Browse the forums some more. No, but I can name you many that failed because they relied on a "we'll fix it later" attitude.
  9. Skyrim never advertised features that weren't implemented at launch. Also comparing reviewers to actual customers is laughable. DA2 received many good scores by reviewers.
  10. No, this is simply unacceptable. The MMO genre is the ONLY genre of video gaming where fans will desperately defend an unfinished product. You paying a monthly fee is NOT an excuse for a developer to release a supbar product with vague promises of finishing it "in the future." A small percentage of your monthly fee (About 1-2 dollars) go to servers. The rest goes to them UPDATING the game, adding new features, not finishing what they claimed would make it into launch.
  11. Every priest in a progression raiding guild was dwarf. Tremor was notoriously buggy and didn't save Onyxia from cleaving your raid when your tank got feared. Undead warriors were so prevalent because of WOTF for fears on Ony, Magmadar, Nefarian, Bug trio in AQ, ect.
  12. Not even remotely true. Paladins were far better than shamans. Salvation was one of the abilities (The other being fear ward) that gave alliance a HUGE advantage over Horde. Paladins could also destroy warriors and rogues with a reckoning build in PvP.
  13. Or we could just complain that they advertised a feature that wasn't ready for launch.
  14. The Mythic that designed DAOC is long gone.
