  1. Scoundrels are still viable but if you see a Sorceror, HIDE.
  2. Slicing and selling the purple crafting missions that come of it on the GTN. A purple quality Treasure Hunting or Archiology level 300+ mission will bring in upwards of 17k-18k.
  3. Logging into: SWG- *What do I want to do today?* WoW/TOR- *What do I gotta kill today?*
  4. I knew what I was getting into but secretly I desired for the return of another SWG (pre-CU) SWG was my first MMO as well but SOE pushed me into WoW for the following first 4 1/2 years. Right now, I'd say TOR the most polished, contemporary MMO but hardly the most innovative. I have hope for the future, though.
  5. What is this? I don..... (My instincts smell a troll)
  6. 6gbs RAM should do but might as well get 8.
  7. Phenom II x6 (1090T) HD 6870 8gigs RAM All game settings maxed and no issue at all. Is the OP system adiquately cooled? I assume you're running Win x64 (obvious but shouldn't be overlooked).
  8. Whenever I put my hand on the box it gets very warm and makes funny sounds. It tends to get moist, especially when I move my hand around but when I'm at my keyboard the box gets cold and very unpleasant to be around, making gameplay difficult to enjoy.
  9. Roads? Where we're going, we don't need any roads.
  10. He didn't need your help but you do get a XP boost when grouped.
  11. I didn't hit Alderaan till I was like 33 or 34. It's stupid that level appropriate mobs are much tougher than they should be but there's enough missions on each planet to outlevel most of the mobs on the next planet, making them less of a headache. Sure you will get 1 or 2k more XP per mission but is it worth the time and frustration?
  12. Why not the corpse of any nearby fallen enemy? Han didn't pull a Taun Taun out of his A_ _. They just happened to be on Hoth in ESB.
  13. I don't mind the 5 second delay, I just wish I didn't have to channel the first 3 seconds. Why can't I just target it, fire and forget? The target still has plenty of time to get out of the way but at least I'm not incapacitating myself for 3 seconds.
  14. My server pop is fine, only 95% of it is in Fleet.
  15. also, if you are leveling cybertech, you can use those old tokens to buy Mods, which can be reversed engineered for components.
  16. Typically I have no problem downing Elites, some tougher than others, but I have to say there was this one mob in particular during my vision-quest in the Voss Temple of Healing that just did an insane amount of damage, dropping my well-geard companion in no time, had a charge leap and constantly AoE stunned me. After about 6 attempts, the closest I got it down was like 2% and I was 2 levels above said creature. Considering I had downed other Elites of the same creature during the mission, this one seemed waaaaaay over-tuned, either that or was mislabled and meant to be a Champion mob. I should have compared Health Points with other elites in that mission to be sure. This one had around 26k HP, which seems more than usual but not enough to be a full-fledged boss. Ability delays during crucial moments didn't help, either.
  17. I'm guessing all the Crystal Datacrons are nuetral, then? Because it is possible to form a relic with 3 of the same color crystals.
  18. Yeah, this is SWTOR's version of WoW's Fatigue, rather than have invisible walls, the devs put soft boundaries along the intended explorable areas of the map. If a player goes outside those boundaries, you lose life and eventually respawn at the nearest medical facility.
  19. Prior to Patch 1.1, you had to go into your Nvidia Control Panel, in the 3D settings and manually set the AA settings and force them into the game. Now, assuming the patch works, you need only have your 3D settings in the Nvidia Control Panel set to (Application Controlled) and then enable AA in the game Preferences/Graphics Tab.
  20. As another poster already mentioned, it's already in there /cry
