  1. Anyone else notice something wonky with rested exp? I rerolled for about a week to give my BH a chance to stock up. Logged in last week at level 28 and had approximately 160k rested exp. Its not about a week later, Im level 33 and I still have over 80k rested stored. I know for a fact that space missions dont benefit from rested, and it seems that pvp doesnt either... but going 5 levels and still maintaining such a small amount of exp seems strange. Anyone else notice rested working strangely?
  2. Yeah atm everyone is dps speced with a very few exceptions as its easier to level this way. Most war fronts dont have a healer at all. That however is far from the optimal setup for real pvp and if you go against a group with 2 good healers with 0 unless they are complete mongoloids you will lose 90% of the time. Anything can be done any way one chooses, that doesnt mean they should be done that way.
  3. Sorry your arguments are just silly. As a healer your job is to keep people alive. If folks are dying you keep them up. In warfronts this is happening constantly. By stopping to DPS I am letting people die, this makes my team weaker and eventually ends in a loss. Suggesting otherwise is just hilarious and makes you look stupid.
  4. Oh I understand I can be crap DPS and a Crap healer and get rewarded more than being a good healer. I just find it amusing that you think thats a good thing.

  6. I agree, the issue is being punished for excelling at what you do. Not quite sure why you dont seem to understand. If I DPS I average 5+ medals a game. If I heal I average 3. Do you not understand that this is obviously one sides? Do you not understand that this encourages folks NOT to heal?
  7. Oh I agree, that being said in 90% of the warfronts Im in SOMEONE is always dieing and as a bounty hunter I have to manage my heat like crazy. Any time I get a free moment I'm letting my heat burn off so that I can save them again in a few seconds and 90% of my CC is used to save my own butt. To get a DPS medal I'd have to stop doing my job I think thats what most of us healers are saying.

Bioware assigned me to an over populated server, everyone on my server (unlike yours) is experiencing queues. Just because you arent experiencing the issue doesnt mean it isnt a problem.
  9. So I should fully utilize my character by letting folks die and doing dps instead of focusing on heals? Thats your argument?
  10. best fix IMO is let the medals get repeatedly earned. That way for every 75k healing I do I get another medal. So when I heal 300k I dont feel like I was wasting my time. Other wise I can just respec and farm it up like everyone else...our sides just going to get rofl stomped.
  11. They need to extend the caps on these servers or allow guilds to transfer off. The waves of EA kind of screwed my guild over. We were assigned The Fatman and the first batch of us got in and leveled to 20+ now the second batch is coming in to 3 - 4 hour queues and getting screwed over. So now either the first half of our guilds screwed for playing on the assigned server we were given or the second half is screwed due to insane queues. Either give us the ability to transfer off or extend the caps.
  12. Yep and its really bad with the title system. I can see your toon needs healing, but your surrounded by 3 enemies you have 2 titles on and I cant quite clearly make out your name so cant find you in the group menu, add on to that I cant click on your as the enemy is surrounding you and all of you are jumping, spinning, and flying. You then die when I could have easily saved you. By far the most frustrating and game breaking bug I've seen yet.
  13. The main issue is a dpsing healer isnt being a HEALER! Granted sure if no one is dying and your free to cast then out standing... but in the 30+ warfronts I've played in the past few weeks I have experienced maybe one warfront were I had the ability to dps as no one needed my healing attention. DPS should DPS and Support should Support.
  14. Couldnt agree more. Love healing for 300k more than the entire rest of the warfront combined and getting absolutely crap medals for it.
  15. This seriously needs to be fixed asap. I play a healer and 80% of the warfronts I play the raid menu is bugged out and folks show full health when they are dying or show low health when its full. As a healer we then have to watch folks floating health bars around us and then attempt to target them and get heals prior to them getting killed, this single bug his seriously hamstringing healers. Please fix!
  16. Mainly cause the timers shown arent accurate. I play on "The Fatman" and it frequently shows an hour and a half as the queue, when in reality its double that or more. I personally havent had to deal with it due to being self employed but my guild mates are getting hammered by 2 hour - 3+ hour queues.
  17. So here's something that has been kind of bugging me over the past few hours. SWTOR setup the guild program so that guilds could be formed early and servers would be selected to help spread balance. In an ideal situation this setup would have been great, guilds would have spread around and we could have avoided one of the dreaded first week mmo launch issues, server over crowding and server ghost towns. However, with the way EA is being handled atm, invites are being sent out in waves which is nice for spreading people out, but works against the guild system. Here's the scenario. Guilds A-Z are on server X. 10% of those guys are able to get into EA today and get on the servers and rock and roll. Over the course of the day the servers fill up and approach / reach capactiy. Tomorrow more servers open up, more people are let in, and should spread to the new servers, however, the guilds are now getting onto the servers they were assigned, which were balanced previously but are now leaning towards over crowding and extensive queues. Just seems a bit backwards to set things up this way. One or the other method would be great, but with both of them implemented it seems as if the two programs will actually work against each other. Since there arent any more keys going out today I figured I'd get some input on this in the spare time we all now have.
