  1. Deluxe has his commando, but hes been leveling a merc lately so I haven't see too much of him
  2. Yeah this same scrub tried to challenge me too. Just told him the Lion isn't concerned with the opinions of the sheep.
  3. Nostromo and a Naga here as well.
  4. I am complaining about it, but I am still winning my games and topping the charts. Lower TTK = Lower skill cap the game is less about gear that in was in 1.7, but it is also less about skill. Having a pulse > All in 2.0.
  5. can't agree with this statement, if only because watchman has always been the worst spec for rateds...
  6. urrite. No one who has even a modicum of skill in this game is claiming that "skill" means more now. PVP in the lowbie bracket is around as hard as Mariocart now, and all of the bad who can finally get kills are celebrating. You didn't become more skilled, you didn't have the great wall of gear removed from your path, the dev just made it exponentially easier for you to get a kills without having to actually learn the game.
  7. What I do know is that you are the sort of player who will start a thread about how pre-mades are unfair and cheating. From this I am able to deduce that you are either: a) suffering from cognitive dissonance (a Bad who has to cry about something so that he convince himself he is awesome) b) A Good PVPer who has never been recruited to a pvp guild c) a Good pvper that refuses to join a PVP guild because he is taking an ideological stand against premades. d) a hypocrite (good or bad player that does run in premades, but has decided to make this thread anyways) We can dismiss option B off hand because, as anyone knows, talent attracts talent. If you are a great player, then you will be noticed, and you will be recruited. We can also dismiss option B, because, as I already said, talent attracts talent. Lets face it, humans are the vainest monkeys on the planet, and when someone is constantly recruited (as any top flight player will be) the flattery will get to them. No one is immune. Besides, anyone who is an upper echelon player wants to constantly carry their team. (A single player can't defend two nodes). So yeah...
  8. At least he has a single friend. The real reason people form premades is so that they don't get stuck in a wz with 7 of you.
  9. Carnage / combat got a big buff for pvp, I don't know what you guys are smoking.
  10. Its does actually increase your rage generation, in the sense that it decreases the gcd, letting you do a builder .t seconds faster. Best way to use it? Of corse not, but you can still grab rage quicker if you need to.
  11. 1. Dps and utility are separate things, combat has the most utility of the 3 specs, then watchman, then focus. 2. What nerf???? The spec plays a little different, but imho its as good or better than it was in 1.7
  12. Yeah, all the players crowing about how now the game is skill based are almost exclusively bads who used to cry about the gear gap when they were in full wh like everyone else. Its not that now their "leet skills" are shining through, but that the pvp skill-cap in the sub-55 brackett has nosedived. I blame Call of DUty for these sorts of gamers. Guys who never had to develop real twitch skills or real situational awareness because they started out playing an fps which aims for you and spawns you right behind the enemy lines. I would prefer if the mmo genre shied away from catering to these ******-yet-entitled gamers, and didnt hand out free trash kills like ToR now seems to be doing.
  13. bads just want a game where their lack of skill means nothing. Thats balance to them
  14. Fuzzle is right, in 2.0 you always want to pop your first precision slash before using blade rush or you will waste your refresh.
  15. yes, or jump off a ledge and fly 4x as far.
  16. QFT Aside from pyros, Smash has always been the easiest spec to play in the game. Combat imo has gotten a buff. Sure I have to pay attention to my procs a little more, and there is a new opening rotation to learn, but starting a fight with 9 full seconds of 100% armor pen = a buff in pvp
  17. No its not difficult at all, but it has still made the game boring, at least for myself. But what makes you think these devs have even acknowledged the issue?
  18. I understand that there was a major crit nerf on PTS that wasn't carried over to live... i could be mistaken though,
  19. Look I have no problem with the bolster, but for someone to say that Skill matter more in 2.0 than it did in 1.7 is a ludacris statement TTK is so short right now that a labrador could do effective dps. Every class can hit for 10k+ in lowbies, and everyone has right around 20,000 hp. This is not an environment where skill is the driving factor. The fact is, the PVP skill cap in this game has been significantly lowered. The people who are loving this version of pvp are, by and large, at the lower end of this game's dwindling pool of talent.
  20. All of those things might be great if they hadn't also pushed the games' skill cap around the level of Mario Cart by decreasing TTK to almost nothing.
  21. Yeah agree 100% I dont have any problems with bolster, especially in the lower brackets. It seems like it is still kind of buggy though.
  22. Well, now its not fun for anyone since everyone can get 3 shotted. And you want ttk lowered even further? The only people that are loving this are the people who are on the lower end of the games talent pool, because the skill-cap has been lowered to a point where they can feel like they aren't terrible. edit: I think I may have totally misunderstood your post, when you say "decrease ttk and stuns" do you mean "decrease stuns and increase ttk?"
