Agreed, it definitely needs improvement. I read that in one of the early builds the GTN did in fact have a generic search function, but it was scrapped later on when it was causing programming issues. My best guess is they were rushed for time pre-launch and put this one on the back burner for a later patch.

I bet they made the game intentionally bad too so they wouldn't have to sell so many copies, that cuts down on distribution costs...

I have noticed the same thing when linking a few of my synthweaving epic crafts. I assume it's a bug, but I haven't seen many people talking about it yet. It does make it hard to sell things in the trade channel when what you link isn't exactly what you're selling. Hopefully this gets addressed soon.

I'm guessing it's a bug also. I hope BW fixes it soon!
