  2. I did see the "loc1:characterselect" next to my character name instead of the usual "Select".
  3. On Tuesday, the patch downloaded, installed and I was able to log in and play until this morning. I had no issues until then but when I returned home, the launcher started downloading 38gb. Ok, I lounged around waiting for it to complete then when I clicked play I got to about 90% of the loading screen and it stuck there about 15 minutes before I alt/F4 out and restart the launcher. Now it's downloading 35gb. Is there an issue I missed and need to address before doing this all again?
  4. I couldn't tell you. They're making me download the update again. No rhyme or reason, just shoving another 38gb patch on me.
  5. Of all the changes, good or bad... why was the keybind for the Activities UI removed? I can't count how many times I've hit Ctrl G and nothing happens. Also, where is the "Unify Colors" option for companion gear?
  6. They give stealth but then don't want us to use it for what it is. Good work Devs.
  7. Logged in and got my conquest rewards, but no equipment crate. Loot discipline set to Current Discipline (Deception), no crates. My other level 80 toons had the same result. No crates, loot discipline set to current specs.
  8. From someone that never used group finder, I'm not diluting it with anything. Solo and solo story are all I do, I rarely try veteran mode solo. BTW continuously saying it's an MMO will not deter solo players from playing solo. I'd like to know how many solo players there are because they, too, stay away from you leets who dilute group finder.

  10. Yes, I understand what was being "abused", I suppose, in group play. I play solo and really did not know that was an issue. They have the ability to remove the Combat Revive from all non-healer classes, and they did. So why not remove all revive abilities from non-healer classes so that system is less "abused"? DPS shouldn't be reviving anyone anyway, imo. Maybe make one revive ability for the healer classes, ones that can vanish, that requires a vanish to use while in combat. Penalizing a non-healer stealth class is somewhat of a broad stroke with this large of an update.
  11. Oh but they also removed combat revive from non-healer classes so I'm still not sure why dps can't drop out of combat.

"Vanish Abilities now instantly drop all threats and allow players to enter stealth at max level, however, players are NO LONGER ABLE TO USE VANISH TO EXIT COMBAT IN ALL FLASHPOINTS AND OPERATIONS." For someone that consistently plays solo due to time constraints, the part in caps will basically keep me out of flashpoints. So, I ask, why was this change needed?

  15. Decided to pull my sub. Maybe I'll come back in another year or two to play another hour or two of new content.... or, maybe not.

  17. You must play SW with the Unstoppable ability or JK with Unremitting? I have every class at level 75, some more than once. JK and SW are the only 2 classes I've found with that ability. For instance, Jet Charge on the bounty hunter, I can not count the times I'm stunned during the Jet Charge and end up still 30 meters away due to game glitch. I can not count the times I've charged in, hit an aoe ability only to be pushed back before it hits anything but it still goes onto cooldown. I've played MMOs for the past 15 years or so, since WoW started anyways, and this game on/off since beta so I really don't buy the L2P argument. To address another argument in this thread which was about going through content too fast. Does that really matter? We're already are scaled down to the level of the planet we're on, so even at 5 levels above mobs it still takes a few seconds to get through. Inserting crowd control mechanics on most pulls isn't making the content fun, it only annoys and generally makes me not want to do it. Make it a challenge in a different way, make them hit harder or whatever but getting banged down and around on every or every other GCD is not a fun time, especially with only one or two ways to break crowd control.
  18. If you think being stunned for 6 seconds then knocked down for another 6 or more seconds then knocked back 15 meters is a fun way to start a fight, that's you. It's annoying, not fun. I don't care if they hit harder, being unable to do anything for the first 20 seconds of a fight is not a fun game. If you like that system, by all means sit back and watch your comp do all the fighting.
  19. Did you romance anyone else while waiting for Kira to come back? I did not and I did not have to do an alliance alert to get her romance going again. Kinda figuring that was why, saved myself for her return. I was fully prepared to do an alert for her but did not have to. I'll check my alerts anyway when I log into the game again.
  20. If the amount of daily grind NPC crowd control abilities aren't reduced to near nothing, it doesn't matter what else is done. I won't be paying anymore.
  21. Decrease the amount of stuns, blinds, knockdowns, knockbacks and other forms of crowd control by NPCs. Boss mechanics, fine. Regular daily grind mobs, not fine. Thinking hard about pulling my sub.
  22. As far as I know there is no Kira alliance alert. Anyways, I was able to resume my relationship with Kira as soon as her and Scourge came into play. But then, I did not romance Lana. I was determined to save myself for my sweetie Kira.
