  1. There have been plenty of posts directed at Bioware describing the state of affairs of the SWTOR community. Some of which have been generally constructive and others fell a bit short. I am posting with the intent to briefly capture the missing elements that have led most subscribers to stray away from this game. They are as follows: 1- Server populations. At first glance this seems to be an easy fix - Merge the servers. I agree that this is the best solution to the problem; however, my fear is that BW will approach this incorrectly. As a warning, I suggest that BW ought to perform forced transfers instead of the traditional volunteer approach. This strategy will ensure proper character/guild disbursement and server leveling. One way to successfully complete this task will be to number the servers according to their current population and pair the servers as follows: PvP Server 1 merges with PvP Server 16 (or whichever server is least populated) PVP Server 2 merges with PVP Server 15 and so on and so forth.... One objection, I suppose, will be those who are attached to their names and legacy names. I propose that this should be countered by giving those with higher legacy levels priority over those with lower legacy levels. I maintain that this seniority method is the most just. (Moreover, on a personal note, I would be willing to give up my names to someone who was more senior than myself.) 2- Eight man PvP queues This is a big one. Many subscribers, to include myself, are quite disappointed that this was not a feature included from release and are becoming increasingly more agitated that it has not been addressed and added to the game. My guild, Inglourious Blasters - Davik's Estate, consists of 125 members and of those 50 are level 50. Our guild is a PvP guild. To be clear, all we do is PvP. Since 1.2 and the release of Diablo 3, we have lost 35+ members who unsubscribed from this game. They cited "We will return to SWTOR when group PvP comes". On average, my guild now has about 10 players online during prime hours and we represent, on average, 30% of the Imperial Fleet population and 60% of the players queuing for warzones. Additionally we spend 10-20 minutes waiting for a warzone queue to "pop". This is unacceptable and I cannot defend BW to the other 35 members of the guild when they decide to unsubscribe. Add 8 man group queuing to the game - problem solved! In the interest of brevity, I will not go on any further because I believe that if these two problems are solved most will return to the game, profits will go up, and lastly BW can focus on more important interests for the betterment of SWTOR and its community. Finally, I would like to add that alot of us are rooting for you BW. We want this game to succeed into the MMO we all know it can be. Personally, I do not want to go back to World of Warcraft. Please do not "force" me to. Thanks for you time.
  2. Rolling into natural cover offers the sniper a serious advantage in pvp. Good snipers rely on this function quite a bit for mobility. Try taking force sprint or leap off your toolbar. Bottom line, stop listing work arounds for us..... we know how to drop cover in place. Bioware needs to fix this bug asap.
  3. First of all, rolling pugs is where its at! If my guild is organized enough to put 8 mans together then we should be able to run wild in wz's. That being said, I completely agree with you statement concerning competitiveness. There is nothing I want more than to play other premades but we need 8 mans stat brah!
  4. Pvp guilds wanna group with 8 bottom line....this is a mistake
  5. I understand that rated warzones did not work and needed more time in development; however, not giving us 8 man group queing is a mistake. BW watch subs go bye bye.....
  6. bumpskies .....how is this still not addressed....devs said they were looking at it......come on...i want to heal brah
  7. Pvp queues are bugged on daviks estate! kEEP GETTING LOGGED OUT WHEN i JOIN THE PVP QUEUE.

I've personally participated in launches of 6 other MMO games, and there is nothing in those experiences that compares to how ridiculous this process is. When you are dealing with a pre-launch even that is only for pre-order customers, after an extensive and massive beta testing period that was a huge success according to nearly all sources involved - it begs the huge question as to what is the limiting factor in the way you have chosen to roll out this game. I personally participated in the beta in a very limited way (not by choice, mind you, I just wasn't lucky enough to get a key) and was only online during the big Thanksgiving weekend test. That test was wonderful - there were a huge number of servers, and a huge population of testers. The game performance was amazing. So, EA/BW - what exactly are you afraid of? The ONLY way this should have been done is to have given ALL pre-orders (perhaps separated only by level of game purchased - i.e. CE customers get 7 days, SE get 5, e.g.) access at exactly the same time. Of course it will overload the servers and queues would ensue and all that - but that's what we all expect. Making your customers wait unknowingly with no idea how long it will be or when to expect an email is just adding insult to injury. A poor alternative would have been to send out emails with a set time and day that your access would be available. I read in the top post how you are monitoring the server performance and are rolling waves based on server performance. Are you seriously saying you have to wonder at this point if your servers can perform up to the task - when you probably still have 90% of the launch day players yet to even be able to play? That is not at all a good message to be sending at the beginning of an MMO franchise. At any rate, I love this game. I love BW. But I truly despise and am sickened by the way you chose to put your customers through so much stress for absolutely no good or justifiable reason. I truly hope you improve, because this is a very very poor way to start out. ^ LVL 37 Night Elf Rogue-Thunderhorn
