  1. Your best option is to quit and wait for another mmo. Same story is everywhere. In order to do any dps as a fresh assassin. you have to switch to madness. even then it's still bad but more than deception. I had the the same experience. Fresh 50 rank 49 as best gear as I can get after hitting right away(think I had 3-4 pieces). Go pvp, highest crit was a 1100 on an execute. Highest recieved crit 5800(think a warrior smash or something). I was forced to switch specs essentially just to contribute. DoTs interrupted objective grabbing and I had a ranged aoe. That's all I was good for.
  2. Sounds like a nice switch up then. I was under the impression that a lot of it was cast. I may need to try it in a pvp match or 20
  3. Does it get annoying have to stand and cast from a 10m range? How's the force return/management? I'm so used to Deception with the mobility and melee range while hopping to range against a melee when casting my range that I'm not sure if I could stand in one spot for long. But I'm always interested trying new things.
  4. Just wait till you get the the end when you fight in the councils chambers. Thanaton is freaking ridiculous. 68k hp and at 70% he goes into a healing phase until 30%. Mind you while he's healing up he is constantly attacking in uninterruptable aoe and he cannot be pushed or stunned. How does Bioware expect a fresh 50 assassin dps to compete on this. He drops both me and my companion at 60% because we both have to be in the aoe range and we can't heal. Seriously had to have a guildy in full raid come and heal me through it. It'd be doable for a sorc, maybe even a sin tank. But as a dps sin you can't just regear for 1 freaking fight.
  5. Most annoying thing for my is that the assassins Jolt (and shadows equivalent) do not silence the interrupted ability for 4 seconds in PvP. Essentially making a healer even harder to take out or a missile spammer do more damage. Also lately I've been experiencing times where my Force Cloak seems to do nothing and I'm instantly out of hide again(yes I cleanse before and speed after). Not sure if that one is just me but it is annoying when it does happen( about 1 outta 3 PvP matches I'll have it happen). Seriously my biggest issue and sadly the inability to use my utility correctly according to the description is so infuriating to me that it would cause me to quit. Even if they just changed the tool tip I'd be fine with it. Just don't under-deliver to me.
  6. There is the DoT spec. They can pop a few CD's and there DoT's heal and crit like nuts causing mass health return quite fast.

    A smart sin will do a circle back to attack. They will get out of the area and come back as soon as you start healing. That is if they come back. Also if you are fighting a smart sin
  9. Also this cleanse immunes them for 3 seconds. so wait the appropriate time to pop them out
  10. If this isn't a troll post. They have a cleanse they pop. Learn the classes you are pvping against. Assassin and it's counselor shadow both have cleanses.
  11. Exactly. Pulls IMO should not work on a ball carrier. Might as well allow the ball carrier to go invis right?

    you realize the cleanse gives the sins(and counterparts) a 3 second immunity right? This probably accounts for why you can't find him. The disappear is a 2 min cd WITH the points added into it. the cleanse is 1 min I believe. the best combo is a disappear cleanse and sprint(since they do have a force speed). the 3 second immunity allows for the sprint to get you far enough away. If you think they are still around after the 3 seconds that is when you want to pop your aoe
  14. I was thinking that fact that the highest heals have the highest damage dealt was what was wrong, seems that I am mistaken.
  15. I've said it in a previous post. Fix the utility moves in certain DPS. I know my Jolt on my sith Inquisitor does not work as the description says. The secondary effect of silencing said interrupted ability is not working in a Player vs. Player setting. This may not completely fix the heal issue but it would allow the dps and other chars to actually do there part and keep a healer preoccupied.
